Bought some CL2 ram. It was shipped promptly and is as described and working well.

Potential improvements: The shipping cost was quite high for just a stick of ram. Also I think it was marked as untested, could probably charge a premium for testing prior to shipping.

I have bought from this store several times, and the customer service has always been excellent. Care is taken of the packaging, the purchased goods meet expectation, and in the event of an issue they are very pro-active to solve it. Very pleased with this store.

I've ordered twice from this store in the last 18 months and both times it was a great experience. The owner is very helpful and will do his best to answer any questions. I would thoroughly recommend if you are struggling to find the right retro hardware.

Had an issue with my local post office not informing me about a package and then sending it back.

Thankfully the shop resent it and no issues this time, great service.

Ok, so I bought the Sound Blaster 64 AWE 16-bit ISA sound card that was on sale at Classic Computer Shop EU for 110€ plus shipping, which I paid via bank transfer.

What I recieved was a padded envelope (really inadequate packaging) with a Sound Blaster 128 PCI, a 5€ sound card which does NOT fit the computer and does NOT work under DOS.

Now, I've written several emails, written on their contact form and called maybe 15 times. After the first two unanswered calls, my number was blocked and I was forced to try and call with hidden caller ID. The phone is never taken. My voice mails are unanswered.

My suggestion for a resolution was either for them to send me the correct sound card (which as of right now is still for sale on their website) or my money back. They choose.

In honesty I cannot recommend this company; that most of their business is good does NOT matter, if they refuse to handle the deals that go bad.

I conclude from their reply that in writing this review, I must now accept the owner of Classic Computer Shop's refusal to refund my money or send the correct sound card. But I have not heard from anyone at the shop directly, only their comment left here.

All I really whished for, was for this rather simple dispute, in what I thought was an honest mistake on their part, to be solved amicably.

Sadly, this was not to be...

I am now unpack the package and I am absolutly surprized, because the P-II processor was in original ESD protect pack. The package has arrived so fast to Hungary! Thank You so much!

My favorite place for 'Abandoned Ware'
I always search for things I used in MS DOS times.
As I am a bit of a 'fossil' I try to re-activate PC systems that still can be operated under MS DOS/Win NT/Win 2000.
And here at Classic Computer Shop is the place.

Prompt service after i found the classic Mac item I have been looking for at a price that was unreal, literally 1% of one I saw on ebay. Now I can restart my old Mac and see what I was up to 25+ years ago.

Bought keyboard, mice and RAM extension for my 90th retro computer. I was looking for original HP parts fitting exactly to this computer. By chance I found it in this shop. I think he made a good price for those hard to find parts. Everything came well packaged, in very clean conditions and was working out of the box. Thanks.

I ordered a few parts here in the past, everything went smoothly.

I ordered a complete computer system with Windows 98 SE, software and drivers pre-installed. Due to the pandemic, the carrier DHL took quite a while to deliver it, but it was of no issue to me. The computer arrived without damage, it was well packaged! I was really happy to see how nicely preserved the computer was and how clean it was. Clearly the seller has a passion for vintage computers. Everything worked right on startup and I appreciate the pre-installed Quake too. :) I loved the fact that all the pre-installed software was useful, like a package manager or benchmarking tools. Also received a neat vintage computer magazine. I am more than happy with this purchase and I will definitely order again. I highly recommend buying from this shop!!

Bought a Vintage Laptop from this shop. Though quite expensive, it was well worth the money imho. Obviously when you shop at this shop you already are a bit weird and willing spend money on archaic and ancient (redundant) technology. But for that this shop is a haven.

The laptop is as new, complete in box, with many spareparts. The service from Classic Computer shop is awesome, quick, WELL packaged and he makes sure you have everything you need after the purchase is done.
