Horrible! First, this site barely generates any leads for dealers who pay them monthly. Second, Greg Fresquez just isn't very good as his job. He also needs to lose the attitude and do his job as a "D... See more

Best site by far!

ClassicCars.com is so much better than Autotrader Classics. I didn't have any bites on my ad on Autotrader. Then I posted it here, on ClassicCars.com, and right away had 5 or 6 buyers interested. The first person that came, bought it. I had to delete the ad because I was getting so many leads. Thanks, I highly recommend this site!

A Successful Experience

The experience was good. Being the pick of the day was helpful along with the write-up by Andy Reid. I believe the service and ability to show the car through ClassicCars.com was worth the price of admission. Thank you.

Broad exposure to buyers

Classiccars.com is a good website to get a broad exposure to all kinds of buyers. I do wish that for a more reasonable price that one could include a few more pictures. It is difficult to get a good perspective of the vehicle with only four pictures, but then that is how they make their $$. Overall I was satisfied with the experience.

I went to list my car on Classic Cars…

I went to list my car on Classic Cars and was steered to their bid site. The people were great, the results not so good. I finally got back on track to Classic Cars and no results.
I do not think I have an uninteresting car.
The car did not sell so I am going another way. I could not find a way to pull the ad without saying it had sold.
Thanks for asking

Hi Peter,

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the interest your listing generated. According to our records, your vehicle was listed on ClassicCars.com for less than one month following the auction. With this in mind, please consider the fact that selling a classic vehicle often requires time and patience for the right buyer to come along.

Should you change your mind about advertising your car with ClassicCars.com, please contact us at 480-285-1600 or customercare@classiccars.com and we will be happy to reactivate your listing at no charge! We are available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (MST).

Overall it worked out well

Overall it worked out well, it takes a while to get everything set up and I was offered the auto trader auction, which I took, and I had a bidder that turned out to be a dead beat so I had to put the car back on the CC website. I did eventually sell the car at my asking price.

Another chapter begins for my FARGO

I am absolutely happy and grateful to Classic Cars for their professional approach and attention to my sale. Laura was exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable. I have nothing but positive things to say about how I was informed and treated. You have my 100% recommendation. Can’t thank you enough Laura for your help in finding my FARGO a new home.

Have to filter the wierdos out

There has to be a way for CC.com to filter/screen people looking at the site! There are so many weirdos and creeps and scammers! Some are really old ones too! Be very careful about giving information to ANYONE! Even if you know they're buying your vehicle! They can turn out to be a nightmare! CC.com was a good site other than that.

Sold on the second day to a buyer from Germany

Listed my car with a very detailed description and about 85 detailed pictures including under the car. Got several replies in first couple days and went with the first reply from Germany after I found out that it was fairly easy to complete the bill of sale and receive my money. All the work was on the buyers side. This is the third car I have sold on this site the past few years, one went to Atlanta and another to Montreal. Can't argue with success.
