I had a wonderful experience at the Clarks at Peacocks mall

I had a wonderful experience at Clarks branch in Peacock Mall in Woking and really wanted to give a special shout-out to Raiya for her amazing service.

Raiya helped me out on two different visits. The first time was for my mum who can be quite particular about her footwear. Raiya was so patient—she must have shown her at least 10 different pairs and never once made us feel like we were taking too much time. She really knew her stuff and answered all my mum’s questions with such kindness and professionalism.

Then we went back another day,just before they were closing at 5pm. We noticed a promotion on kids’ shoes and ended up getting a pair of toddler shoes for my daughter for only £10. which was a bonus! Even though it was near the end of the day, Raiya was just as super! She was so sweet and playful with my one-year-old, who was getting her very first pair of Clarks and was more interested in exploring the shop.

Honestly, Raiya’s service was just so warm and genuine. Thanks to her, we’ve definitely found our new go-to spot for shoes for the whole family. Thank you, Raiya!

Store team need serious training

I visited the store with my son to buy school shoes, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The store was busy, which I understand, and the ticketing system to manage the crowds was a good idea. We waited patiently for 30 minutes for our turn.

When I finally spoke to a member of staff, I clearly explained that we didn’t need measuring—we knew exactly the size and the shoe we wanted, since this was just a replacement for a pair my son already owns. Despite this, the staff member insisted on doing the measurement anyway.

After waiting so long, the measurement they gave was completely wrong—several sizes too small. When I pointed this out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, she brushed it off and insisted that my son should still try on the incorrect size. For context, every one of my son’s shoes for the last 12 years has been from Clarks, so I know his size very well.

We then had to wait another 10 minutes for Luke, another staff member, who showed absolutely no interest in listening to me when I raised the issue. Instead, he started talking about buying insoles to “fix” the problem! I showed him the card with the measurement and asked for the shoe in the correct size—10.5E. He immediately claimed that this shoe doesn’t even come in half sizes. That was a blatant lie, as I already own the exact same shoe at home in a half size.

To make matters worse, instead of serving me (even though it was still my turn after 40+ minutes of waiting), Luke walked off to help someone else and never came back. I was left standing there completely ignored, as if my time and patience meant nothing.

The first staff member eventually noticed my frustration. By that point, I had lost all faith in the service and told her it seemed Clarks simply didn’t want my business. Only then did she suddenly offer to order the shoe online—the very same shoe Luke had just claimed doesn’t exist in half sizes.

The whole experience was appalling. The staff’s attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly disrespectful. I was made to feel as though I was begging for a £95 pair of shoes rather than a paying customer. Regardless of price, customers deserve to be treated with basic respect, and that was completely lacking here.

I will not be returning to Clarks Woking as long as Luke and this staff member are still employed there. They left me deeply disappointed, frustrated, and questioning why Clarks tolerates such poor service in the first place.

I went into the Clarks store in Woking…

I went into the Clarks store in Woking looking for some work shoes. I typically find it challenging to find shoes that fit but Rayya in the store was so incredibly helpful bringing out a wide variety for me to try on and making suggestions to try and make the experience easier for me. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very helpful and patient. Thank you Rayya for the excellent customer service.

Recently went to store to measure my daughter’s feet and also had an issue with the pair of shoes bought. Rayya in the Woking store was super helpful, understanding and resolved all issues quickly. Was very happy with her service and knowledge. Thank you

DONT SHOP AT THIS STORE FOR KIDS SHOES

The staff are simply rude. Not at all how I remember Clark’s. What started as a little experience we were looking forward to with our little ones first shoes, ended up leaving us frustrated and walking out.

We went in for sizing of my 16 month old, they sized his feet while in my arms instead of with his feet flat on the floor and insisted this how you do it despite us mentioning it and the other member of staff was shaking their head at their colleague. We got the impression they just wanted to get it done fast and go back to talking with their colleagues behind the till.

Funnily enough the shoes were far too tight and we had to go back for an exchange. The exchange was then a whole other saga of a different member of staff who was incredibly rude despite a very simple exchange request.

10+ years of shopping there and certainly won’t be going back.

I ordered my 2 pairs of Clarks shoes on…

I ordered my 2 pairs of Clarks shoes on the 8/12/24.
I received a text and 2 emails yesterday 28/12/24 saying my order was ready for collection at the Woking branch. I went to collect the items but was informed that they were still being transported and that the delivery wound not be sorted until the next day as it was already 16.00hrs (29/12/24) so I should come back another time!
These were gifts for friends who did not get a present and when I informed them the shoes had arrived at last, only to be told that the order was not in the store, there was an even bigger disappointment all round.
I am not at all happy with the service I have received this time. I have ordered other shoes that have arrived within a week but never has it taken this long and even worse not in the store even though I have 2 emails & a text saying they were ready for collection!!

Was doing my Christmas shopping on…

Was doing my Christmas shopping on Saturday in Woking and popped into Clark’s. What a lovely experience. Kelsey was so friendly. We had a lovely chat. She found everything I needed. Placed an order for me. Nothing was problem. Thank you so much and I loved the Christmas jumper. Bringing some festive cheer to the Woking.

I visited the Clark’s store in Woking…

I visited the Clark’s store in Woking to measure my daughter’s feet for school shoes. I was served be a wonderful customer service agent called Niamh. She was so helpful and patient with my daughter . She recommended the best shoes for daughter to be comfortable while wearing them all day at school. I nearly gave up on Claris after my last experience with a shop in Kent but I will definitely be back to the Woking store in future. Thank you .

Rayya at Woking was very helpful

I came into the store to find school shoes for my children - something that's usually a very difficult and lengthy process. But Rayya was a star, so quick and efficient she made sure that they got what they wanted and was very lovely throughout. Great experience.
