Superb customer service and advice from Angelo and Donna today at the Norwich city centre branch. I’ve had to return numerous ill-fitting shoes purchased online from other stores for my husband so we decided to visit Clarks. Angelo measured his feet and knew exactly what size and fit he needed. The first pair fit perfectly. Nothing beats the personal service you receive when shopping in store. Long live the High Street!

Visited clarks shoe shop in Norwich and bought some boots and found Penelope to be very helpful and took a lot of time with us.

Staff were attentive whilst allowing me space to browse.
I have a difficult left foot and many shoes don't work for me. I was looking for loafers. Penny brought me different sizes and tried them with and without insoles. She then suggested the suede (rather than leather) loafers as these might be softer. I tried these on and they were a success. I left with a pair of shoes that work for both my feet and this is because of the time Penny took. It reminded me of Clarks in the old days when you got your feet measured in childhood - we need it as we get older too! Thank you Penny, thank you Clarks! Keep up the excellent standard of products and service and know that they are not only highly appreciated, they are a lifeline.

We visited this store recently to buy boots for my partner. He always has difficulty finding shoes to fit, and be comfortable. The assistant that served us was Rachel, she was amazing, she couldn’t to enough to help him. She measured his feet, and assisted him to find some lovely boots (in the sale..a bonus) that fitted him perfectly, and were really comfortable he said. So much so that he asked for some shoes as well! Rachel happily assisted with this and found him another pair that were just as comfortable as the boots. He’s not an easy customer when it comes to buying shoes, but Rachel knew exactly what he needed after measuring his feet, and was so patient and helpful. A big thank you Rachel, you are an asset to the store.

We went with two young children who had lots of energy. We were immediately greated by a lovely woman who directed us tonthe childrens shoes. Ed looked after us and was great with the children, very knowledgeable about the shoes and found us a perfect pair for my little girl who has just started walking. Very friendly and patient with us. We arrived just before closing time, but didn't feel rushed at all. Very happy customers

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the rather spiffing Donna, Rachel and Ed at your Norwich (Brigg Street) store. I pre-booked an appointment for my 7 year old autistic son Alex (8yo in January) on Thursday 23rd October at 3pm. I booked it on the most British of days- which was rainy, windy and just rather awful weather!

The staff could NOT have been more helpful; took my son's specialist pushchair downstairs out of the way so we could walk upstairs, where Donna had made the whole room dedicated to Alex to have his feet measured by the wonderfully calm Ed. Which made SUCH a difference, as other members of the public staring at my son whilst he's stimming is never a nice experience (he always wears his sunflower lanyard out and about)

Donna said that we could always use the store room if the lights, sounds etc were too much for Alex to cope with... Such compassion and thought for my (not so) little boys trip to Clarks!

It was so lovely to see all the staff making such effort and went out of their way to make sure it was a nice experience for us both. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I'm trying not to get too emotional whilst writing this review- it's so fabulous when you meet people who understand, so thank you so so so much again.

In fact, Alex clearly loved visiting the store so much (I think it was Ed and the mirrors upstairs in the children's department, so he could see his reflection!), that we had to pop in this afternoon.

We have some shoes ready to click and collect, but thank you for making our visit one that was calm and stress free!

We attended Clarks Brigg Street (Norwich) today (13.10.25 around 1.35pm). I was not happy by our experience.

The kids floor was empty and 2 employees were organising displays (I think one was the manager of the shop and the other I'm assuming was a team leader). They called a younger employee to serve us (who was working downstairs where there were customers, I don't know why they couldn't serve us).

Shannon M served us and was great. She fitted our son (15 months) with his first pair of shoes and measured our daughter's (3 yrs old) feet. She was friendly and treated each child in a fun and kind manner.

However, when Shannon was getting shoes from the stock room, my son was excited by all of the shoes and proceeded to take shoes off the shelves. I started to put them back but he took them off again, so I left him to it and had a look at the sale shoes. I was of course going to put them back. An employee came out (who I think was the manager - a red tinge to her hair) and was visually annoyed by this. She stood by him and said "oh dear I won't know where they go" and continued to complain about my son's actions in a rude way huffing and puffing as she works. He's a toddler and didn't understand what she was saying.

Later, my daughter was getting all of the shoes she liked off the shelves. It was about 4/5 shoes. A different employee (I'm assuming was the kids team leader, dark hair) came out and said to my daughter in a sharp tone "stop that now" and she took the shoes away. My daughter was shocked as she didn't think she was doing anything wrong. If there was a shoe she liked a lot we would have bought it for her as her feet had grown, but we didn't get the chance.

I used to work at this shop and I know there are plans for displays and employees know where all the shoes go, like the back of their hand. Also, there was no one else on the kids floor, so putting a few shoes away isn't that much of a big deal.

They need to speak to children in a friendly way, like Shannon, and not be so rude.

I think I'll go to the Riverside store next time as they are always friendly.

I was served by Kat from the Norwich Brigg store. I have troublesome feet - wide with large big toes! Shoe shopping is not something I look forward to and it can take quite a while to find the right pair of shoes - if at all. Kat was kind, helpful, considerate and spent quite some time with me. You'd think I might feel obliged or pressured into a purchase but not at all and that's why I give her full marks. I was successful in the end but even then I knew I could try them out at home (28 days to return if I changed my mind) Thank you Kat

Myself and my husband took our granddaughter to get 2 pairs off boots , bless the assistant who had other children to size up there feet (the children refusing a crying including our granddaughter ) he had patience of a saint . He was super kind and so understanding and completed his jobs with great ease, so I would like to thank Joe from the Norwich brig store you are truly amazing and a credit to the store . As I went downstairs I told the staff how incredible the young man was upstairs in children’s department, as I really needed to write this review to let people know how outstanding five star for service

The staff are always amazing and they always strive to satisfy each customer. The communication amongst them and with customers is always top notch. I have never had a bad experience in any of your stores. I first ordered online and was able to change my order at the Norwich city centre store effortlessly and with great customer service.

Norwich Brigg store was so busy with the back to school rush so I must just mention Izzy who listened and made the whole experience easy and stress free. Thank you! Also a mention to ladies who welcomed me as I entered shop and entered the child's section, really nice service.

Served today by Imo at Norwich Brigg Store. She was really good with our daughter, even though they were very busy, no rush or pressure, helped us throughout very patiently and found a perfect pair of shoes. We loved her currrnt shoes so much Imo even managed to find a pair of shoes on sale out the back that were the same that she can grow into. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated :)

I took my grandson into your Norwich Brigg store to buy him his first pair of school shoes. It reminded me of when I had done the exact same thing for my own daughter 30 years previously! We had a lovely lady called Anna assist us. Anna had a very professional attitude when dealing with my grandson, as she immediately knelt down when talking with him to be at his level. Anna was very knowledgeable and provided us with a few pairs for consideration. She wasn’t pushy and allowed us time to make this important decision. We even selected a pair of trainers that we had intended to go and buy elsewhere! Thank you for making our shopping trip such a good experience.

Sadie from Norwich Brigg Store helped us find school shoes and trainers for my two children. Was a fantastic quick service. Gave both my children confidence and spring in their step. Nothing seemed too much of a bother. She was very knowledgeable. Friendly, smiley and so good with the children. All round very professional. An experience that could of been quite stressful, we were all put at ease. Thank you.

We went into Clarks fearing the worst. For as long as we can remember, our daughter has hated shoes, and it's been progressively worse. This summer she refused to wear anything but flip flops to go out. She refuses to wear socks entirely. I called Clarks in advance and explained the situation to them, and asked if they would be able to help. They said they could so off we went.
We were taken to a room in the back where it was quiet and calm. A lovely guy called Charlie went above and beyond, showing patience, compassion and understanding that made us all feel entirely comfortable. My daughter walked in there wearing flip flops and saying she didn't want new shoes. She left with some lovely, breathable, comfortable yet supportive trainers that she loves and will happily wear whenever we leave the house. We were totally blown away by the service here, would absolutely recommend a visit.

Helena was very friendly, helpful and confident in the process of measuring and fitting shoes. She was also familiar with the stock and gave good advice regarding which styles may best suit my daughter’s wide feet. My daughter (10) was put at ease by Helena’s gentle, friendly manner and we appreciated being given space and time before our purchase to quietly re-try the two options and discuss what would work best for what we needed.

The fitter Asher at Norwich Brigg Store was great measuring my daughter’s feet and checking the shoes and trainers fitted correctly. We selected the pair of shoes and trainers my daughter like best. He then placed them on the sales counter and we waited for the sales assistant to finish the customer in front of us.
We then paid and left the store not thinking we would need to check the boxes. When we got home we discovered Asher had placed the correct pair of trainers on the counter and a pair of trainers that did not fit and not the school shoes we selected. We will now need to go back to return the wrong pair and go through a shoe fitting again and then hopefully still have the pair of school we selected in the right size.

Had plenty of help ready for the school rush so we didn't have to queue, isabel was fast and helped us find shoes no problem..

Booked online and seen at our time slot. Sofia was calm and helpful with my 2 boys and helped us get the right shoes for them. Everyone walked out happy 😅
