Very disappointing experience.
On two separate occasions we have been spoken to in a rude and unwelcoming manner by one of the female staff members (blonde, wearing glasses).

The first time, we visited with a pram and she made no effort to help open the door, instead telling us to leave the pram outside, which felt unnecessary and unhelpful.

The second occasion was even worse. We arrived at eight minutes to five, hoping to quickly buy a pair of trainers. However, the same member of staff was clearly annoyed by our presence and made us feel rushed and unwelcome, seemingly keen to close the shop rather than help us. As a result, we didn’t make a purchase.

After two poor experiences, we won’t be returning. Customer service like this is very disappointing.

Fabulous service in Clarks Huntingdon store yesterday!
Zorayn was so patient with my grandchild who has difficult feet to fit, and Sue was very helpful in sorting us out.
Came away very pleased 😊

Easy to order online. Free postage (because of purchase price received free postage). Good updates about delivery date.
Unfortunately, shoes were not suitable but return via local branch was simple.

Visited today with my son and had great customer service from Mel.
A true professional with good advice and a pleasant manner. Lovely, well fitting shoes, happy mum and kid.
Will be back.

I had hyper, excited and fussy 5 and 7 year olds who both needed new school shoes who had no intention of sitting still - well done Bonnie! The patience and professionalism you had for us made the event so much less chaotic you have no idea how much your mannerism, friendliness and gentle nature impacted on our experience. Thank you so much for making our day stress free and sorting us out!

Having had a previous disappointing experience at Clarks in Huntingdon (being asked why I hadn’t booked an appointment given it was school shoes time, when my daughter was one!), I was reluctant to go there for school shoes but with limited time, needs must. The experience had improved marginally but they had a single pair of shoes in my daughter’s size (11F) that she didn’t like. I wasn’t given any options to order others that could be delivered in less than 7 days and the staff weren’t particularly forthcoming with that option. Next time I’ll just go to Cambridge or Serpentine Green, the better service in those stores is worth the travelling time.

Vikki in Huntingdon recently fitted my children's school shoes. They are both H+ width and so normally buying shoes is an absolute nightmare! She measured their feet happily, with the understanding that I may not even be purchasing from them. Enquired where I normally get their shoes from and how do I find it. She then mentioned that Clarks have more H width this year. The kids picked a shoe, they had them in a H, job done! It was such an easy experience and joyable too. Thank you Vikki for making what is usually a tricky experience, a much more easier one.

We have been using Clark’s Huntingdon since our son was born. He is just over two now. Most of our dealings in that time have been with Hannah N. She is always kind and caring with our son and very knowledgeable about the products and his reaction to them. Several times she has checked his feet and his existing shoes have been fine. There is no hard sell and all decisions are made with his interests being put first.
