Clarkes of Cavan Reviews 

I ordered two generators from Clarke’s of Cavan at the end of January.
They were out of stock but I was told that more were due back in at the end of February.
With generators in high demand after the bad storms, I drove 40 miles up to Cavan to clarkes shop to leave a deposit.
I waited patiently but I heard nothing at the end of February so I contacted them on their Facebook page.
They replied to me and said that the generators would not be in until the end of April.
I contacted the man I was dealing with, and he said he could get me two different generators but the same power at the end of the week!!
So I waited until the end of the week! Same story again, I was told it would be the following week. I got upset and asked for my money back? I was told that they would talk to accounts and try get my money back to me.
I waited another few days and got no reply so I had to contact a manager.
Only then after I contacted management, the man I was dealing with rang me back and said he would return my deposit.
Wait for it,,,, I gave him my card details for the refund and instead of refunding me, he actually took more money from my account by mistake. Laughing stock! It took 3 working days for me to get my money returned to me.
This shop messed me around from start to finish. All they seem to care about is sales!
Customer service is terrible.
The management did apologise but never offered any incentive to deal with them again.
I wish I had looked at the bad reviews before I dealt with them.
I am not surprised with the terrible service.
I do not recommend Clarkes of Cavan to anyone.

Wrong item sent. Item ordered wasnt in stock.Alternative very different to item ordered. No text or call to talk about alternative.

Clarke's were very easy to order from and customer service was excellent. They often don't hold the parts in store but order them once they receive a purchase. The unit I ordered is no longer in production but Clarke's sourced a suitable alternative before then calling me to make me aware of the issue and of the ready made solution, all within 48 hours of my original order being placed online.

Very quick delivery of high quality rain wear. Excellent all round service.

No problem with answering questions or get your delivery on time love using this company.

They say 1 to 2 days for delivery and item was in stock, after many phone calls to them I received my one item that I had ordered for my sons birthday 3 weeks later avoid this place at all cost

Easy to use Internet Service, progress on order notice very good; postage very slow. recommend that customer can choose from Net the type of postage e.g general An Post, Next day delivery, Courier.

Prompt delivery. Very helpful and pleasant over the phone in explaining about the product. Will certainly purchase from again. Highly recommend. Many thanks

I must say I got what I ordered next day could not get better service.

I bought a EU22i Honda generator from Clarke’s of Cavan, i live in longford, i ordered it on the online website Thursday at 11.30 am and it arrived the next morning by post, brilliant customer service, very helpful staff, and all round, excellent. well done 💯

Package arrived in perfect condition and well packaged. Good communication on delivery time.

Excellent service. Ordered online an recieved item 24 hours later. A very easy transaction to complete.

Didn’t honour sale made over weekend of storm. We went to collect Monday morning only to be told no. Staff were busy increasing prices. Asked customers to leave shop. Never again. Still awaiting refund from purchase.

We ordered and paid for a girls bike for Christmas online. We received a call the next day to say it wasn't in stock and given an alternative. We didn't really have much options but to pick a different bike to the one we wanted. There was also supposed to be a free helmet with the bike that we had also picked out. We where told that was also not available and they would send an alternative. The bike was a 20inch bike to suit a 8 year old. When the bike/ helmet arrived the helmet they sent was for a toddler absolutely no use to us. Otherwise the products where well wrapped and deliverd on time.
