Dress in layers & wear good walking shoes
Well organized loading dock. Great views from the boat. On time. Nice variety of departure times. Nice history of Alcatraz. Can spend as much time as you want touring. Great pictures of the San Francisco wharf, bay and Golden Gate Bridge. A must do when in San Francisco.

Visits during shutdown.
So glad you continued to take visitors to Alcatraz during the shutdown. Was our first visit to the island and was very interesting. One of the docents there told a lengthy story about the escape, it was fascinating. He did a great job. I liked the self tour, it worked well being able to start and stop as you pleased.

Pleasant experience
The description of the tickets is informative and includes practical pieces of information. The lady at the ticket office was kind and helpful, and we were given a refund as one of us couldn't join us to the islands. Everything was well-organised and effective.

Well organized, good value for money
The trip was well organized. Not only it included the boat, the museums, but also the audio guide, which in most other places is an additional paid-for feature. The price was reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful.
