We found all the staff we interacted with helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back as our plans did not include enough time to see all we wanted to see. We definitely recommend spending the whole day between the two locations if you are history nuts like us!

We went on a lunch cruise on the Thames today for my sisters birthday, we called before booking to check accessibility as one of us uses a mobility scooter and this was fine, the staff were helpful and accommodating, the food was lovely, we would recommend this tour.

On November 17, 2025, I took a trip to Miss Liberty (Crown) with City Experiences. Of course, I can only judge this off-season, but the experience and the well-organized itinerary clearly exceeded my expectations. The same goes for the very friendly and helpful security staff before boarding the ship (I had left my wallet behind!). It was a very impressive trip without any rush. Incidentally, I found the price to be more than fair, even extremely reasonable, compared to other attractions in New York, such as the famous and highly acclaimed Emp....Building!

TI apologize for doing this way later but I have been busy with work and school. I went on my first trip to NYC this past summer. I used the cruise ship ferry to visit Ellis Island and Liberty Island (1st time ever.
The staff were great for the most part. I hadn't been on a very since I was a kid so I had to get used to the rocking of the ferry but it was swell.

The Statue of Liberty visit was excellent for me and my wife and she loved it although it was very cold out there on Ellis Island and a whole lot of walking up into the Statue of Liberty. Boy was I tired after climbing all of those steps up inside of the lady Liberty.

There should be a better line system for boarding the cruise, it felt more like a free for all

It was WAY overbooked so not everybody had a place to sit, food was not great (burgers hard), and it was very hot in the main area where the food was at. The fact that the alcohol was included and we met good people is the reason for the three stars, if not it would be a one.

The whole thing is a racket. The way you cram everyone into the line in a big mass. No shade. The reservation times mean nothing since everyone is just put together anyway. We ultimately left without getting on one of the ferries. People looked just as packed in on the ferry as the line. There are so many things that could be done to make this a better experience, but since this is the only company you can use to ferry to Ellis/Statue, they don't have to make it a good experience. Also, they don't have any restrooms for their customers but rely on the state park's.

Everything went smoothly from ordering the tickets via phone to picking them at the ticket booth in NYC.

Excellent from website to site 👍
Everything went smoothly.
Good info, then precise instructions and there are people to help you all the time if needed.
Everything is well organized Professional and friendly staff.
Totally worth it.
Just one thing : I wish we had had more info on going up to the Crown.
It is a very hard climb that is not really necessary.
Do it only if you are very very fit and avoid with children...Better for teenagers.
Much more enjoyable to spend time around Liberty Island and the museum.

This was a fabulous way to see New York. September was a great time of year too.

Our visit to Alcatraz Island was part of our holiday roadtrip when we travelled California for 2 weeks in October. We had a great time on the Island and found everything very well organised. Our two daughters (5+12) particularly enjoyed the Junior Ranger activity.

I requested the deletion of my customer account and all associated personal data, but City Experiences has failed to act on this request. Despite contacting them directly, I have received no response so far.
