We were several months behind in payments and foreclosure had started. They never really explained what they were doing or why the numbers were changing. They got our payments reduced for a trial period and said the future payments after the trial would remain the same. The trial is now over and we have to pay even more than what our payments were before the trial, plus extra to catch up on escrow. About a 25% increase in monthly payment due from the trial period to post trial period. I've also noticed that our insurance premiums have gone up by more than 120% (more than doubled) in just three years. They never helped us realize that this is the primary issue. They never offered any help related to the insurance. They refused to help us anymore after we were set up on the trial plan.

I recieved a phone call from Walter stating that he could help me with my mortgage, which I was behind in. After gaining my trust he teamed up with Jennifer Silva to revise a plan to get me out of my foreclosure before I lose my home. Them both, Walter and Jennifer Silva consulsuted with me over the phone and collecting all types of pay stubs and bank statements for almost a year promising me that I wasn't going to lose my house and constantly telling me they have to try another way and another way and another way, while collecting a total of $4400 in money orders which I have all the receipts, text messages and voicemail! I was served court papers and had court dates and a deadline to save my home or I was flat out losing my home. These two individuals Walter and Jennifer! I pray for you because God don't like ugly! You two preyed on A Woman in need of help to save what she worked so hard for and you took the opportunity to help yourself! You two should be ashamed of yourself for taking my money and selling a dream! String me along for over 11 months to ask me one day when im finding out im really about to get put out of my home! Have you ever thought about filing for Bankruptsy !! Why wasnt that asked before you scammed me out of my money !!! $4400 do not grow on trees especially when your already going through some things! Watch these two and this Company!! Scam Scam Scam !!

Horrible experuence. They collected $4,000 Hadme post date checks for fore months. A total dog and pony show. Gooey nice but total talk. Didn't do 10% of what was promised. After the last check cleared they were done . So many unfulfilled promices. I would never retain this company if I had it to do over again, in fact I'm considering litigation. I can't imagine this nonsense would be acceptable in the state of California.

I can say whole heartedly I am one of the most skeptical people when it comes to who I trust my money with, especially when it comes to saving my home. Jennifer and James made themselves available to us whenever we needed them, for all of our concerns throughout the entire process. Worried was not even the word we could use to sum up how we felt. At the end of all of it, not only were we given such relief, our payment and interest rate were lowered more than we could have even imagined. The trust that has been built with this company is forever, and we will be making sure we let anyone who is struggling with mortgage payments know about citizens first. Thank you Jennifer for helping save our home.

I have never been treated better or informed on what was taking place than with Citizens First Inc. The men and woman we felt with were highly professional at all times.
