Absolute scam. False information DONT BUY

Dont apply! They take the payment immediately but nowhere does it state that the person verifying the young person (business owner) MUST employ 250 people. I requested a refund the same day due to this fact and false information/advertising and was told it was refused as they had "spent time and resources processing?? How? In the 10 minutes it took for me to cancel. Lady agreed to refund on phone (my calls are recorded as a work line) and then subsequently Olie emailed to refuse it. Told me to get another business but by then id applied for his provisional licence as that is actually cheaper and fully recognised. DONT BUY IT ITS A SCAM

If we could give them zero stars we…

If we could give them zero stars we would, I was helping my mom who’s 75 to apply for a Citizen Card, unfortunately due to issues out of my moms control the process could not be completed, but it wasn’t until she checked her bank account that she realised that the £18 fee had been taken . We believe this totally unacceptable, as it’s just another way of making money, considering they have themselves down as a non profit organisation. We email the refund department explaining The situation but have had no reply. If anyone else is considering applying please read the terms and conditions very carefully or you will end up out of pocket just like my mom.

This company would not refund my…

This company would not refund my payment of £35.00 ! Told me consideration is only given to refund requests where an error has been established to be theirs in processing of the application. I had difficulty in providing all of the documentation they wanted ! And basically didn’t know how to do it. But they took payment before the application process was attempted! Application number 732177
I believe this company is operating in a way that is immoral.
And can’t be trusted! To refund people
If you make a mistake or simply being technically phobic like me !

I tried several times to upload my passport identification! But your website refused to accept it each time
Stating an error try again. Again and again I tried it kept rejecting. I have no other photograph id ! That’s why I’m trying to get one from your company!
But you haven’t provided any service!
And kept my payment of £35
I could have applied for a l passport for a little more ! Not providing a service paid for means a refund! But obviously your company is working on the boundary of the law ! And I wasn’t clearly informed! That I wouldn’t be refunded ! If you didn’t provide the service I paid you for ! Your company is working similar to those companies I’ve heard about that a person has to check closely before entering into anything with . I shall be passing along my experience with you in any form I can.

You can use multiple referees to get your application verified or use our Electronic ID Validation if you have a passport, driving licence or European National ID Card. The Electronic ID Validation is an automated process that sometimes requires few attempts to verify the submitted ID document. The card is completely useless for…

The card is completely useless for iPhone iOS 26.4 age verification requirement. It scans but will not upload to the system. I am 62 years of age and cannot use my iPhone as an adult, i.e. as person well over 18. I was helped by customer care at Apple and in-store by a member of the genius team but we could not get the card to upload.

they said my old passport would be fine

they said my old passport would be accepted if the photo still had a likeness to me. It does & is accepted for ID in the real world. I scanned QR code on my iphone & tried taking photo of passport many times but the useless app says document not found. I emailed & they said try a different device OMG I only have a really old andriod tablet when my wife comes down see if it works on her newer iphone but I don't hold out much hope. I suggested it didn't work because the corner is clipped off the passport. I cannot afford £100 for a new passport I don't need. These cards should be a great alternative id for young or handicapped people (like me) who don't have a D.L. but only if you can get the card. I'm old but can still take photos good enough to sell so the app must be at fault
OMG the below reply was the first time I tried this is the SECOND time I tried with a REAL but out of date passport which they said I could still use. I repeat the app doesn't read my passport.

I created an account for CitizenCard as many places and my iPhone require age verification for security purposes.

I contacted Rebecca Johnson, Administrative Officer, who advised me on creating an account and provided clear instructions for my application.

I encountered a few issues during the process and had to request support to reset my application and complete the electronic verification steps. The process required careful attention.

Rebecca was very helpful throughout and understood my situation well.

I would recommend CitizenCard. If you experience any problems, you can contact them by email and they usually respond within a day or two.

Go for a passport instead

If you need id, just pay extra and get a passport. It’s so much easier and less hassle. This company has no contact number so unable to actually speak to someone right away and the email response takes a day to multiple days each time. I know it’s expensive but just go for the passport, Honestly.

Post Office PASS Card didn't arrive

I ordered a Post Office PASS Card on the 31st of March with the express process option so I would receive it within a few days because a job I will be starting very soon requires me to have ID. My Post Office PASS Card was sent on the 1st of April and it has been almost 2 weeks and it still hasn't arrived. I sent an email regarding this to customer service last week and I received a response asking for my full address and I sent those details across and since then I have heard nothing back.
