The easiest and best car hire experience we have ever had! The price we paid online was all in - no hard sell for extra insurance or putting £1000 on credit card etc. We collected the keys literally opposite the bag belt and were on our merry way within 5 minutes. Also had a brand new mini-SUV for £20 a day. Drop off was a case of dropping car keys off at the desk. Voila!

I will always hire a car from this great company.
Last year was the first time and I was very happy. This March I visited grancan and again they offered good service and an excellent car with no problems on my return, so I booked my car hire in May×2 and in October.2022
My first booking in May I was very pleased I was upgraded and it was a very nice car. I like to say thank you to cicar and it's staff that offers great value for money without any issues.
My advice to anybody is video the car before inside and out. Point out any dents or damage on the video and video the mileage and petrol gauge. Keep your receipt to prove you refilled the car and most importantly video again and make sure you get an member of staff to sign off on your return.
Try to pay this in cash it may be cheaper and harder to claim on silly problems, never pay securtiy deposit on petrol (but cicar have never asked me for this) and don't rush, take your time this will save you loads of problems later and you will have the proof for the future, so I hope everybody have a great holiday.

Pretty bad service once you need help or if you have any question… people are laughing at you. So, if you have a car and no question… maybe go for it but pray for nothing happens!

Every time an excellent service, fast, efficient and simple.

After having spent 2 weeks on the different islands and tested 3 rental companies, cicar is the least and especially much less titillating on the return.

Bad very bad they charge me a gas security deposit and never credit back the money very bad people !!
I did a reservation online ,change the price when I went to pick up the car need to pay more because of gas security deposit and than never give back my security deposit when I drop the car with full tank

It is the 3rd time I booked a car using CICAR. This time, booked a compact car, got upgraded wrt the car model. Every time I got an almost brand new car, meaning I always experienced cars in a very good state. Never got an issue so far, and prices are quite competitive. I recommend.

Best car renting experience in my life. Very smooth pick up and car return, very good service, great car and amazing roads to drive it on the Lanzarote island. Will definetly recommend and rent with them in the future!

Flawless experience. I had made the wrong reservation ( LA PALMA ISLAND, when I meant Las Palmas gran Canaria )and everything was corrected speedily and efficiently by the CICAR counter agent at the Las Palmas terminal

Would definitely use again, best hire company used so far in the Canary Islands. Efficient handover on arrival and departure. Needs better directions to locate the car, there were a few of us struggling to find our cars!

We rented a Cicar car from 16 to 30 October 2021 as on our other 3 stays in Tenerife. Like the other times we were very satisfied with the service of Cicar (a recent car, clean and in perfect condition). The booking conditions seemed to be the best we could find.
The booking was made via the internet and the formalities at the reception of the car were quick as was the return of the car.
During this last stay we had decided to discover La Gomera, we were simply asked to specify this when we picked up the car on our arrival.
We are already planning a fourth stay in Tenerife and La Gomera and we will obviously book a car with Cicar, an agency that I highly recommend.

I hired a car for 6 days from 16 October. Car pick up at the airport, prompt delivery because I had already drive with them. I got an "upgrade" because the Corsa was,'t available yet, I received a Opel Combo (much bigger than Corsa). The car was clean and recent.
Cicar picked up the car back at my hotel. I just want to note that at first the car was supposed to be delivered in Saturday afternoon directly at my hotel (Puerto Del Carmen). But 3 days before, the agency called because the delivery won't be possible (i.e the agency is closed) so I switched to the airport (cost me a cab ride). The online reservation let me choose this option "delivery at the htel + time and date", I think it could be improved in order to avoid this "issue".
Next time in Canaries, for sure I will drive again with Cicar.

Good, clean car, I wish the manual was left in it though, I had some doubts about what to put in the fuel tank. Nice price and efficient service.
