Unfortunately we got a car with already more than 88T KM. Car wasn't in a good shape anymore. Steering wheel worn out, interior with lots of scratches, suspension needs exchange and most dangerous wipers without proper function. We had to stop and wait for end of rain for continuing to our hotel.

Opel corsa ordered and we got a Fiat500 .

I like this company. Never had the smallest problem.

Modern car (Seat Leon) in a tidy and good condition. Tires were not the best anymore regarding profile (ca. 20.000km). Slippery in wet conditions.
I don't know how many horsepower the car had, but it was reasonable enough for vacation trips and mountainous routes.
I enjoyed the android auto fuction for my smartphone.
Price was ok, tank full/full rule, no problem after return. Keys can be dropped at the counter bypassing the waiting line.
Vehicle handover at the airport of La Palma islands on day 1 took far too long. Understaffed counter with long waiting times.
In total a recommendation of cicar from my side.

Good and fast service, nice car - better than others!

Very easy going - within 5 minutes everything was done. Car was excellent in good conditions - whenever I will comeback to the islands Cicar will be the company to rent the car!

Everything went well and the service was good. No payment in advance needed and the booking was quite simple.

Very friendly staff, a very nice vehicle (Opel Crossland) and everything was handled very professionally and quickly. CICAR remains my first choice when travelling to Carary Islands as already many years before.

When I arrived on time at the airport of Arrecife, the very friendly CICAR employee at the airport office provided me with a rental car that was a couple of categories BETTER than the CAR I RESERVED. I reserved a compact Seat Ibiza with 3 doors and manual transmission, and I received a SUPERB Opel Crossland X with manual 6-speed transmission, which turned out to be perfect for exploring the offroad terrain encountered on the island of Lanzarote. Because of the topography of the island---with frequent elevation changes---it makes sense to use a car with an elevated ride height, so that you have a larger clearance between the bottom of the car and the road surface. The model I received was super economical (less than 7 l/100 km), and the only annoying feature was the sound signal I often received, to alert me about "upshifting", while I left the transmission in the lower gear, to achieve engine revolutions near the maximum engine torque.....The CICAR employee did not even charge me a deposit fee---to cover the amount of fuel [I received the car with a little less than half a tank of 95 Octane fuel]---so that I wanted to make sure to reward the trust of this very fine employee, with whom I conversed in Spanish, and I returned the car with a 3/4 fuel load. But, I still felt bad because the car was pretty dirty/dusty on the outside, when I left it at the airport, because I did not find a place to wash it prior to my return from Arrecife to Frankfurt.
I was so pleased with my rental experience, that I already reserved another CICAR for my upcoming year-end vacation on the island of Tenerife. After renting at airports around the globe from international companies for many years, I have only a few years ago come to the conclusion that I am better off renting a car from a LOCAL FRANCHISE, rather than a global/international company. The latter of which is facing higher overhead costs and can thus not offer the same favorable conditions I usually receive from a LOCAL COMPANY. But, CICAR is even maintaining an AIRPORT OFFICE inside the arrivals terminal, and I smiled all the way from the exit of the airplane to the interior of the arrivals hall, when I saw long lines of people waiting in front of the international car rental offices, while I could directly walk up to the CICAR office window without any waiting period, whatsoever.
I can only recommend this incredibly wonderful car rental company

Hand over of the car was quick without any problem and on note of all corona advises; The car was clean and technicia ok in all functions; Thanks for this goog service; So we had have a good holiday as well in these special time

Great Car, fast service, very good price. Easy return and pickup policy.
Much, much better than the majority of the rental car companies who always try to sell you something on top and search after returning the car with a microscope for defects they can charge you for.
Cocar understands the business and is customer focused, no wonder why this was the only lane with people waiting. Thumbs up Cicar !!!

The opel mokka came without cleaning water for front and back window and the tire pressure alarm on the left back had a malfunction after a week.
Driver seat was not really confortable, because a lot of heavy weighted people drived yet this car even the car had no more km than 21000.
I would rather prefer next time a mazda cx than an opel - it seems me more quality in engineering than this mokka.

For sure the Best car rental company on the Canarian islands

We rented a car in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote and are very satisfied. All employees were very friendly and the arrivals and returns were fast.

However, we strongly recommend that you show the exact addresses (if possible with Google Maps link) of the return points on the homepage.

We almost missed the ferry, as the return point in Las Palmas is actually not to be found. If my wife wouldn't speak Spanish and a nice taxi driver wouldn't have helped us, we would have missed the ferry!
