An excellent used car buying experience

Having had 2 bad experiences purchasing from a very large national dealer and a car supermarket, I was intrigued when a pop-up advert for used cars showed a car that I really wanted to check out. Instead of the usual large dealers this one was at CH Render, less than 30 miles from where I live but who I had never heard of. So unannounced I drove there to take a look. Was greeted by Daniel as I did a walkaround and within 10 minutes was trusted to test drive on my own while he carried out a check on my own vehicle. I knew that this was the saloon car I really wanted, instead of the all lookalike 5-door hatchbacks or SUVs, and confirmed that I wanted to purchase it. He gave me p/ex quote and I went home to look at buying without needing to outsource finance. Not too happy with the figure and looking on-line at the new vehicle price saw it was quoted as "overpriced". I emailed an alternative deal where I did not p/ex my vehicle and asked for a no p/ex price reduction and a deal was agreed. Had a wait while I took my private plate off the existing vehicle, and Daniel registered the replacement car in my name. As soon as the V5 arrived I taxed it and 24 hours later re-registered it with my private plate. I spoke to Daniel and arranged to collect the following day. I then did my online banking transfer to Renders and when I got a lift there the following day the car was ready with the new plates fixed, fully serviced and 12 month MoT certificate, and a printout of its full service history from new. The presentation was immaculate. Daniel gave me a run through the computer controlled screen and linked my phone to the bluetooth. After a week's running the car is everything I wanted and was promised. A great experience dealing with this single garage company, and Daniel was outstanding in dealing with this octogenarian. I recommend everyone fed up with being told you cannot check out a car without first paying a deposit and also being told to pay "administration fees" on top of the price to pay check out CH Render first. You will not be disappointed.

We spotted a couple of cars we may be interested in. Had a test drive in them. Linda looked after us who was friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We agreed a deal, paid deposit and had our new car within a couple of days. Would recommend for either buying or getting your car serviced.

When i have to buy a car from any dealership in the past, my experience, before,during and after has left me very disappointed and cheated.
When i visited C H Render at Flaxton, Nr York, i was greeted with great enthusiasm from the staff {Linda} nothing was too much trouble, happy to spend time with me and chat, left me to look over two vehicles, no time pressure or sales pressure. Called later in the day with my better half, to view the same vehicles. We were met by Daniel, who was very helpful, demonstrated all the features of the vehicles, no sales pressure at all.
They offered me the current market price for my vehicle and a little extra discount off the screen price.
We purchased the vehicle, the hand over was comprehensive, smooth and very professional. I would highly recommend this dealership along with the polite and professional people who assisted in our purchase.
This was a great experience of buying a vehicle.
