I’m really disappointed with the…

I’m really disappointed with the customer service experience. I accidentally placed an order at the wrong location and reached out for help, expecting some kind of support or resolution.

Instead, I received inconsistent responses — one agent offered a $10 credit, while another told me to contact the store directly. In the end, I received no real assistance, no refund, and no food.

It feels like there’s no clear system in place to support customers when issues come up. I wouldn’t rely on this service if there’s any chance something could go wrong with your order.

You only get one star because it wouldn’t let me leave zero. The worst. Only use then if you’re not hungry. Changed my delivery time three times then canceled the order after two hours. Restaurant says they never picked up the food. Time to fine a new business model

Never received $90 order

Ordered from Domo Cafe - Kahala on 3/20/26… It was storming I have two little kids… Left very clear delivery instructions. The delivery person, Sean H never delivered my food. Sean H never took a pic of the drop-off location… If he was lost there was no text or call… he reported the order was delivered to me, a complete fabrication.

Do not use this service!

Do not use this service! I ordered from a restaurant that I frequent pretty often And instead of putting it through my local restaurant, chownow sent the order to a restaurant 5 hours away from my house and they refuse to give me my money back. I never even got the option to change the location.

My ETA on my orders was 12:20PM from a restaurant that was 5 minutes from me. Order did not arrive until 12:50PM. Food was cold because did 3 other deliveries before me. ChowNow only offered $15.00 of ChowNow credit. Meal was around $50. They refused to give money back to my card instead of credit. They closed the chat and refused to speak any more regarding the issue or compensation. This was the first and last time I will use their service.

Multiple times order takes too long to deliver or not even delivered

We have ordered from the same restaurant multiple times. The order takes over an hour for deliveries. When we call the restaurant the food has already been picked up and the order still takes between 45 to over an hour to get to us. We had 1 incident where the order was never even delivered. Though we did get a refund I definitely will not be using them again after today. This has happened way too many times. If you have the option to use DoorDash or uber I definitely don’t recommend using chownow!

Worked in their Sales till recently. The new head of sales openly told us to mislead customers to make monthly numbers. They will vaguely make you feel they will deliver orders. Once you go live, they will tell you getting orders is your problem. Any orders delivered via their "marketplace" gets a 19% junk fee tack on by them - so not commission free. Very crooked company. They will alienate your customers going via their website. Stay away. If you are with them run.

Horrid

Horrid! I ordered through them and picked up my order so basically they did nothing. When I got home, the food was the totally wrong order, definitely the restaurants fault. But because they use chowchow now says they are responsible. $60 meal and all they gave me back was $38. Which makes absolutely no sense at all.

Horrible company to work with if you're a the restaurant business. The sales team will provide you with incorrect information and make unfulfilled promises. If you sign a one-year agreement, they don't want you to cancel and will ignore the fact that you are not happy with their services. They don't care about my customer feedback because my customers don't want to use the app or website, especially since they can't see who's delivering their food. This has been sent to arbitration with my lawyers. I don't recommend them at all..!

I never received my order

I never received my order. The map took my driver to the wrong street. I specifically described my location to the best of my ability in the notes. I tried to call him, but he didn't speak English. I chatted with him, but he said he didn't know English. I even used Google translate to respond to him but he never responded. Instead, he left my order at the wrong address and marked it as delivered. When I contacted Support, they claimed that the address I provided was incomplete. Yet they couldn't explain why it took him to a different street. When I asked for a refund, all they were willing to offer was less than what I paid as a credit to my account. Unfortunately, I will never be using that account again because they refuse to admit fault and correct the problem. My next order with them might take it to the wrong address again as well.

If i could give 0 stars I would...

If i could give 0 stars I would.... i ordered a double order of wings from Calhouns in Knoxville which should be 16-20 wings or 2lbs... i received my delivery and only had a single order which is 8 wings... the difference in price is $12... Chownow said all the could refund it $6... WTH? I didn't get what I ordered and PAID for.. i should get a refund for the difference.. not $6!

I strongly advise against doing business with ChowNow.

Based on my experience, this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing companies I have ever worked with. The sales process was misleading from the beginning. Promises were made to secure my business, but once my credit card was charged, support became virtually nonexistent.

Reaching a real person for help is extremely difficult, and when you do, issues are rarely resolved in a timely or effective manner. Accountability is lacking, and follow-through on commitments is poor.

There are significantly better, more affordable, and more transparent alternatives available in the market. I regret choosing ChowNow and would not recommend them to other business owners.

The worst company I’ve worked with

The worst company I’ve worked with. They charge my customers tons of fee like “support local business fee”, double the price on their own (they charge our customer $14 for a $7 item on my menu), and illegally skipped the payments to our account. It took a whole year fighting back and forth with them to cancel their service. Once we canceled the service they automatically charged me $500 for a printer that they never sent from the very beginning. When I called their customer services the representative literally told me that I had to prove them the I didn’t receive the printer or else they will proceed with the fee (what kind of nonsense is it). When I asked them to prove me that they sent me the printer they told me it’s not their responsibility to prove, yet they will charge me for the fee
