Ive really been enjoying buying these…
Ive really been enjoying buying these as gifts for people and so far people really like the taste and the designs are unique.
Fabulous chocolates .
Bought a large box of chocolates for my husband . He loved them ! Each little chocolate was a work of art. Beautifully packaged and arrived on time . Thank you !

We ordered five letterbox brownie trays for a party. The online service and delivery were excellent and the brownies were spectacular! Highly recommended.
Flavours created from the floor of a deli
We were gifted a beautifully presented box of chocolates. You could see they were hand made, so on investigating the price tag wasn't surprised, as they were hugely expensive, and probably justifiably so, however, the flavours were beyond horrible.
With eager anticipation I popped into my mouth a chocolate with a prune in the title, and well... it was the first of many ghastly flavours that almost had a savoury hue with overtones of cough lozenge. Thoroughly, thoroughly revolting. Even the oatmilk honeycomb was vile. If these had been the first chocolates I'd have ever tasted, it would have saved a lot of heartache on the scales, because I'm not sure I'd have ever eaten chocolate again.
If I'd paid the eye-watering price tag, I'd be quite annoyed, however, they were gifted as an overorder from my friend's place of work. I hope they don't lose any customers because a CEO bit into the one that contained figs!
I've given 2 stars because the packaging, presentation and the chocolates looked beautiful, but they should have a highly toxic label somewhere on the box, because you feel like you're being poisoned when you eat them.
I must just have an unsophisticated palet.

Awesome chocolates.
Awesome chocolates.
I work on a hospital ward and sampled these chocolates via a gift we'd recieved from a former patient. Upon first taste I was greatly impressed. I'm a dark chocolate lady all the way but appreciated the balance of flavours, nothing was too sweet or cloying. After that first trial I had craved them, I was heavily pregnant when I sampled them but alas due to affordability I had resisted. I even considered buying them as a 'push-present' reward!
Instead I've now purchased the advent box for my other half and I to saviour this Christmas season over the quiet moments as new parents of a now 3 month old :)
Unfortunately the seal on one of the advent chocolate boxes was broken, whilst the other box of the same product didn't have one which was my one quibble with the order for such an expensive product. Though I am glad to have the chocolates finally as a treat they truly are lush. Merry Christmas Chococo!
Terrible Customer Service
I ordered a delivery from Chococo for my daughter. The post had an issue, and the package was never delivered. According to notifications from Royal Mail, the package was returned to the sender. I emailed Chococo twice to ask how to remedy the issue and receive a refund. They have never responded. It has been two weeks since my first email.
I am very disappointed. At the very least, I would expect that someone from customer service would get back to me to provide some sort of update.

Did not receive order
I ordered an advent calendar for my husband. I chased it by the 10th December and was informed that they’d received the order but failed to send it out. I received a refund and a “too bad” message. Poor service given the fact that I’ve been a customer for years

Amazing eco friendly chocolate gifts
Amazing eco friendly chocolate gifts. The recipient loved the fact a donation was made to a good cause for orangutans.

A wrongly delivered order was corrected immediately and generously by Amber.
A disappointing visit.
We've been visiting Chococo Winchester for a number of years now, but this year there have been several miserable managers whose disinterested manner make the experience uncomfortable.
Recently, personable, welcoming, assistants have been made redundant, fired, or simply left and the atmosphere, for us, is not the same.
Management should be aware that there are very many more places in Winchester offering drinks and food.

>£40 thank you gift never delivered despite email confirmation, Chococo not interested because only discovered several months later
I ordered ten bars of Mega Milk 65% milk chocolate as a thank you gift for friend in Brighton back in October. I just visited the family and asked them what they thought of the chocolate, and they had never received it (despite me receiving an email from Chococo confirming delivery). I contacted Chococo customer services and the agent was polite and courteous however immediately rejected the possibility of fulfilling the contract and resending the bars because I was contacting several months late. I explained this was a 'thank you' gift, I would not normally expect another 'thank you' in return.. so I was totally unaware. Moreover Chococo sent an email confirming that delivery to the recipient had occurred, which was not true.
Chococo can apparently evidence the package left the warehouse but are unable to provide proof of delivery.
I note that there's similar feedback here on Trustpilot from another customer who also sent a gift and it went to a completely different address and they were totally unaware.
I'm adding my narrative to Trustpilot really as a warning to other customers; I am afraid the default Chococo delivery is poorly suited to sending expensive chocolate gifts. £40+ packages should require 'signed for' delivery, and it is Chococo's responsibility to ensure delivery to the intended recipient happens. If this isn't provable then Chococo certainly shouldn't send out emails stating items have been delivered to the intended recipient.
I think in situations like this, where the contract has not been fulfilled and clearly a genuine customer is left very disappointed, Chococo has got the balance wrong in doubling down showing no goodwill at the outset. I appreciate they're a small business and I also suspect they would still make profit from this single transaction, even if they had dispatched another box of this Mega Milk chocolate.. these are, after all, very expensive bars.
Moreover, I would've ordered more myself had this been resolved, and perhaps my friend would've loved the chocolate and his family become regular customers.
Disappointed and there's an opportunity to improve things for Chococo here, I am sure.
Disappointing Cherry brownie
I ordered a Cherry Bakewell brownie and was really looking forward to trying it, but there was hardly any sour cherry jam in it, I could hardly taste it. It's also nothing like a brownie, it's more like a torte. It's quite nice, but just tastes like a chocolate torte with a hint of almond flavour and for £16.50 it's expensive. I had a free delivery code so it would've cost over £20 if I'd had to pay delivery! I wanted to try the pecan and orange brownies too but not sure I will now.
I ordered the fresh large selection box…
I ordered the fresh large selection box with chocolate orange brownie, both arrived quite quickly in the post. The chocolates are ok, I wouldn't say they're out of this world. It's a bit annoying that they have a 25 selection box but it includes alcoholic chocolate which I hate. There is a non-alcoholic alternative but that's a much smaller box. The most disappointing thing was the chocolate orange brownie was far too soft, almost like it was underbaked! I prefer slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The orange pieces on top were very nice - mixed review :(
Great chocolate
I ordered 2 easter eggs on sale. Both arrived in perfect condition and were lovely. 1 honeycomb milk chocolate and 1 Dino milk chocolate egg.
I will order from here again.
I really wish I’d read these reviews…
I really wish I’d read these reviews before ordering online :( It also makes sense why they did not give a damp that I was going to review my terrible experience.
Order chocolate only to find they were out of date. £4.50 for 100gs of out of date chocolate… robbery.
Customer service is non existent and the attitude is disgusting. Refused to give me a refund If I sent the items back.. pretty sure that’s illegal even with sale items..
Will dispute through trusty old PayPal :)
I hope this business really gets what it deserves and closes soon.

We’re really impressed with Chococo’s…
We’re really impressed with Chococo’s service and the Honeycombe Easter Egg was delicious. We had an issue with delivery which wasn’t their fault, but they rectified it quickly and professionally. First Trustpilot review and it’s a definite 5 stars from me.

Cramped, Dingy, Noisy.
A very narrow establishment with almost no space between tables. Private conversations are impossible. The staff are forever banging something, which makes the place sound more like a blacksmith's forge than a café. The loos are quite inadequate (actually there is only one), and when customers are crammed into their tables it is not unusual to see a queue of 3 or 4 women hopscotching outside the sole lavatory. The coffee is good, but the service can be very slow. I wouldn't return to eat, because there are very few savoury items, and sickly chocolates and cakes are not my thing. Very poor management and too little space makes Chococo impossible to recommend.

Do not waste your money.
Don’t use this company! Our daughter sent us a Chococo Honeycombe Easter Egg in the post. Sadly, as many other customers have already pointed out, it was smashed to pieces when we opened the box. Totally ruined. My daughter was very upset, as these are not cheap & emailed the company, providing photos to show the damage. They have responded, basically saying tough. Does anyone know if they can just get away with providing damaged goods through the internet? Surely you should be able to trust that a purchase will be sent in a satisfactory condition, unless you have been told it is substandard when ordering. A very shoddy way to treat your customers.

Don’t bother with a subscription!
My daughter bought us a subscription for a chocolate assortment every month. The first box was nice but had quite a few chocolates that we would not have chosen. We’re now on our fourth monthly box and are quite disappointed. Each month, despite the menu card suggesting new flavours, we get the same, quite boring, selection with only one or two different choices. Can’t say we look forward to the box arriving in the post which is a shame!
