I have been waiting for my refund for weeks now. Chill has a horrible customer service, you will need all the luck in the world to get them on the phone which is the only channel they have for support. No emails. No chat.
If you value your mental health, stay away from Chill no matter how cheap a quote they get for you.

Car insurance made easy

Driving Test requirements handled speedily
My daughter had a driving test and because of silly requirements by Department of Transport and RSA you need a physical copy of the Insurance Certificate. It's not enough to have the disk. Anyway, we did not keep the document once we removed the insurance disc so needed another copy in a hurry. I called when the phone line opened at 9am and Jessie was very helpful and produced a duplicate in short order. Many thanks.

Shocking broker error left us illegally uninsured despite taking our money.Avoid this broker.
We have had an absolutely appalling experience with Chill Insurance due to internal administrative incompetence and terrible staff conduct.On 19 August, both the policyholder (my fiancé) and myself (the account payer) spoke directly with a Chill agent. He explicitly confirmed that our bank details and proof of address were accepted and that "everything was good." Backing this up, Chill successfully withdrew our monthly premium on 24 August.Despite following their exact instructions and paying our premium, Chill's automated system wrongfully processed a forced cancellation on 2 September over a document dispute. When we called to resolve this obvious internal sync error, the front-line agent pretended to transfer us to a supervisor, but instead passed us directly back to the exact same agent from 19 August who made the error in the first place. He refused to escalate the call or take responsibility for his own mistake, leaving our vehicle illegally uninsured.This is severe broker negligence. We have filed a formal complaint and will be escalating this directly to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO). If you want a broker that accurately handles your paperwork and protects your legal driving record, look elsewhere.
