Risida Geeganage is the best !
In what is a very difficult business trying to please all people at all times Risida is a true professional with great caring and understanding of the wants and needs of both the tenant and myself as the property owner

Our Property Manager Risida Geeganage has been excellent this year. She is proactive, efficient and unfailingly pleasant, and her judgement on how best to manage our property has been first class. Many thanks and we will definitely be staying with Chestertons in 2026. Merry Xmas

Good all round!

We had a transition from the previous letting agent over to Chestertons - and they have always been freindly, happy to help, and quick to respond. Thanks especially to Risida Geeganage (our property manager). We have not had to use the team much, but when we have they have always made sure they get to the bottom of the issue and keep us updated.

Outstanding property manager – Sarah is a real gem

We recently moved house to a new property which is managed by Chestertons, and our property manager is Sarah Doyle.

Unfortunately, we have encountered quite a few issues when we moved in, and Sarah has been incredibly helpful in sorting things out. It’s almost a miracle in today’s times to find someone who is genuinely helpful and responds instantly. In an environment where many people tend to delay or avoid dealing with issues, Sarah is refreshingly efficient and proactive.

She consistently goes above and beyond to help resolve the issues we need to sort out and is always willing to assist, even outside of her working hours. Her support has made settling into our flat a much smoother and far less stressful experience.

Sarah is always friendly, professional and clearly very experienced in her role. Communication is excellent, and we always feel reassured that any issues are being handled properly and promptly.

She is truly fantastic, and Chestertons (and us) are extremely lucky to have her. We feel very fortunate to have Sarah as our property manager and would highly recommend her.

Just renewed a lease with my tenants for a flat managed by Chestertons. A fuss-free process with Sharn Murray-Aguilar and then completed the paperwork with Tsion Tesefay - also hassle-free.

How management should work.

This was a complicated situation which started with a simple query about how to turn on the central heating and ended with the whole system being replaced with electric radiators as the true state of the gas central heating became clear. In the interim the lack of heating led to a mould problem, all satisfactorily resolved in the end. The Chestertons people managing the property kept channels of communication between myself and the tenant and contractors open, and amicable, at all times and saw what could have been a really difficult situation through to a satisfactory conclusion.

I must commend Isaiah Samuels @ Chestertons for providing the best service we have received in respect of a tennant checkout.
Not all matters were straight forward but everything was dealt correctly and at 'pace'

The worst rental experience we've ever had.

We rented a flat through Chestertons (Camden office), and it was an absolute nightmare from day one. The apartment was handed over to us in a terrible condition: no cleaning had been done, everything was dirty, there were multiple small damages everywhere, and even broken furniture left behind — despite the fact that we rented the flat unfurnished.

The check-in was done without us because, although we had paid everything, the funds hadn’t yet cleared on their account — and they refused to let us attend the check-in. When we finally arrived with the keys, we were genuinely shocked by what we saw.

We immediately contacted the agency for clarification, but instead of helping, our manager started gaslighting us — insisting everything had been cleaned and nothing was broken. Then he simply began ignoring us. As a result, we lost two weeks trying to resolve the situation, unable to move into the flat we had already paid for.

Eventually, we had to call the head office just to get any assistance or even the landlord’s contact details.

Overall, this was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. We will never use this agency again, we will tell all our friends to avoid them, and I strongly recommend that you stay away as well.

they take part of your deposit

This is a warning and I have been told by other people: when you let, especially for short lets, if you do not use their reccommended cleaning companies they take part of your deposit. Avoid them as they will always find a way through the inventory cleck to show that the property is not clean even if it is. They normally take around £150-200 for lack of cleaning even if you spent hours cleaning and is perfect. Avoid them, I have been reported this by several people now. They claim that they have nothing to do with it and the deposit is in a 3rd party place but they ask you to book the professional cleaning for you and the inventory cleck takes the pictures to support their point not yours. It's a scam!
