I have been here before I left with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. The customer service wasn't very good at the time but there could be some improvement made. Especially when you are new in the warehouse and you are just alone and asking yourself where you are and why you are there. Obviously I count on my one hand that the first time I been in there was not good economic or experience because there is know one there is that a lot of trouble to ask for is to have a bit courtesy for your customers. Im guessing it is the way it is. Minimal overhead for maximum profits. But it will be there for the foreseeable because it does get busy from time to time.

I'm impressed by their expansive selection of asian groceries with reasonable price and also the staffs are very helpful. It's only 20mins drive from my home, i will definitely come back more often.
Boycott
Selling live lobsters, absolutely barbaric practice with their claws banded and some clearly being left with untreated health issues, only likely to be boiled alive. Awful.
Animal cruelty
I was deeply saddened to see live lobsters in cramped tanks at Cheerful Links, their claws tightly bound, with some appearing injured. Lobsters and crabs are highly intelligent creatures that feel pain, yet they are kept in distressing conditions before being boiled alive. Many countries have banned this practice due to its cruelty—why are we still allowing it here? I urge the store to consider more humane treatment or stop selling live animals altogether. I hope others will also think about the suffering behind this.
Selling live, injured lobsters.
Evidence of this shop clearly selling live lobsters and crabs, claw-bound with injuries. The government needs to change the current laws and ban the sale of invertebates, which are sentient creatures. Trading standards have been contacted.

They got wide range of asian products and the prices are reasonable. Shelves are clean and tidy, also the staffs are friendly and helpful. Already became my first stop whenever i wanna do some asian grocery shopping.
Failed Service
Although "Cheerful Links" had a high rate, I was unlucky that many things happened in my first experience in 2023.
As this company website's delivery information said, they have been absolutely phenomenal, and they’re doing the Next Day deliveries on all orders.
>19/10: I placed an order and requested delivery on 22 Oct before 4:00 pm.
>19-21/10: I received no rejection or update within those days.
>22/10 at 13:00: I received an email that said my order would be sent out tomorrow, and it showed me what 29 items I should receive.
>22/10 at 21:00: I emailed customer service to report my situation, and I need these foods for a gathering on 23 Oct lunch.
>23/10 at 10:00: I received customer service's email, telling me it usually arrives in 1 to 3 working days. Orders with frozen items will be dispatched only from Monday to Thursday, and my parcel is now ready for delivery; it should be with me by tomorrow.
>23/10 at 11:30: I received a customer service call asking me to confirm I was willing to continue the deal. I answered YES.
>23/10 at 14:30: I received an email with the parcel tracking links, and it showed me what 29 items I should receive.
>23/10 at 14:36: I received an email telling me I should receive only 25 items and that the other 4 items would be refunded.
I was very disappointed and felt this company was very excessive with the following:
1. They had enough days to arrange but didn't deliver on time.
2. They'd enough days, but I have yet to receive an update on the delivery if they can't do it.
3. They completely violated the service commitment. If they've other conditions attached, they must list them on the website.
4. They confirmed the order with all items one day before, and the customer service email told me the parcel was READY for delivery; then, they confirmed on the phone again, but would disappear 4 items at the end. It's impossible!
5. The customer service told me she wanted to apologise but didn't know why everything happened because she hadn't reached the staff. After 3 weeks, I still had yet to receive a response.
I felt they did something wrong and had to improve as the following:
The delivery instructions needed to be more apparent.
The staff arranged confusingly and told lies.
They didn't sincerely apologise.
First time order, very happy!
Ordered a Cuckoo rice cooker. There was no charge for home delivery and they used Parcelforce for delivery which came within a couple days. Extremely happy with the service, thank you!
Quick and Cheap Japanese Items
Found this site while searching for Meiji MeltyKiss chocolates and I'm so glad I did. They had them for a lot cheaper than any other place so I ordered a lot of boxes.
I ordered on Sunday thinking they'd come on Wednesday or Thursday, but they actually use 24 hour express delivery. They shipped it out Monday and it came Tuesday. Very glad for their fast shipping.
