I purchased a ticket LON to Jo'Burg via my sky scanner app in Feb 20' for a departure of April 2020. The purchase routed me through checkmytrip.com As a dual passport holder of US/UK I am not able to fly to South Africa for the foreseeable future with the Cvirus going on BUT when i try to contact customer service of any kind to 1. change date of my flight or 2. refund as someone else posted, I cannot locate a number, an email, an anything or anyone to speak to about this. It's infuriating. Ticket cost USD $855.00 so do I actually have no recourse on this purchase? It is a force majeur preventing my flying. If anybody knows what I can do I welcome your advice. Flight is on South African Airways (but I have contacted them and because my purchase went through crappy checkmytrip they cannot help).
Worst website; no carrier recognises your ticket and no way to edit via checkmytrip web site; really frustrating, and will not be back!
I used CMY quite a lot earlier but recently I cant login and I cant reset my password. There is nowhere to find help, no chat no email address, no nothing.
Keeps sending me emails about trips I haven't even confirm.
Also looks like there isn't any support or customer service when you have any query.
Not worth it and not adding any value.
Totally wrong information about our flights, don't use it!

Booked the flights with this company by mistake return date was not of my choice as it should be straight away called the customer support as saying within 30 minutes of booking i have explained what just happened the customer assistance agent was so pathetic trying to use their so called Brit accent Named "Sushil" was so pathetic and arrogant said sir you have 2 option was sounds like giving me bounty.
Either you can cancel your booking sir which going to cost you £45 and 2nd option i can go ahead and check the other date for you which will be following a cancelation and fare difference as well.
its complete Rip off i have requested the call to be transfer to manager or some one who i can explain what just happned and they asking cancelation fees and rebooking fees which is pathetic.

I found it much easier to go direct to the airline website where richer content is available - changes/seat reservations/add-ons can be made - but can not be done through this website - It is just a flight viewer. This just seems an additional complexity to me.
pathetic. No cutomer care and support
I did a airport pickup booking from this app. It booked a third party(Telixo) cab and shared my card details to Telixo. Telixo deducted booking amount instantly and deducted $25 extra money later next day.
I am still following up with Texilo but but I booked from checkmytrip that has no support :(

Missed my flight MAD-AMS because checkmytrip send me multiple emails saying that flight was delayed by 50 minutes. This was also stated in the info provided by their app. But flight departed at original and scheduled time. Info of checkmytrip CANNOT be relied upon.
Really bad. Paid to have my travel documents sent out to me weeks in advance before and they never came out, I spoke to someone and he said he will have them sent out to me in 24 hrs which I found hard to believe, tang up another day and a lady said it’ll take 5 days to be sent, rang up again and he wasn’t much help. Didn’t receive them still and asked for the refund and was told it wasn’t possible. I had to keep explaining that I didn’t receive it until she finally accepted a refund was in order. Also some of the staff have poor communication skills - extremely bad service

At first I thought this app was great. A nice simple easy way to view all of the details of my upcoming trip. Until 4 days before my flights, they send a notification to my phone saying some of my flights have been cancelled and then a day later the departure terminal has changed. After complete panick and worry, I checked with the airline and it was complete nonsence! My flights were fine and nothing had changed. There's an error with the app somewhere and I now find it untrustworthy and unreliable so I will be un-installing it. If it wasnt for this issue, I would say it's a great little app but not any more. I'm now going with my airlines app which I know I can rely on.
Not good. Created an account and didn't get the link to activate it. Can't use it at all.
It will only keep 2 of my flights. Keeps deleting the extra. Not a good app
This app is misleading and just not reliable. It does not recognise Airport codes from SWISS International Airlines at all. For London Airports it automatically indicates LCY which is London City Airport. Like this I have missed several flights going to the wrong airport. It also mixes up flight times and arrival times occasionally. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! I am surprised that airline booking system like Amadeus publishes such a bad product! STAY AWAY! other apps are much better going into more details and giving much more service.
It's not accurate!!! Shame for such service..... even sending them your booking they will show wrong flights.... be careful!!
