Gyphy Company provides Chatogo.with Gifs however you are not permitted to use certain ones on Chatogo.com .. I was warned by whomever?Is this an attack on people's self expression now? The gif I posted was in Adult rooms 18+ Chatogo.com is a lost cause and even if you have screenshots to present evidence that show mistreatment and bad behavior these Administrators turn a deaf ear to you.. I had to quit to lessen my anxiety .My friend wanted me to stay and talk with me in private. "Private Messages" so I thought ? The conversation was about Gyphy and Chatogo.com being in partnership with each other.. Nothing wrong with this true statement ..I got muted for 1hr. from this site. I give them one star for ignorance directed at me.. Im a Vip there and im treated like a second class citizen. This is utterly rediculous .

I seen the staff and they put in amazing effort into making it a safe place for everyone. I been there since early of 2021 and I have seen a lot of stuff they put in to help everyone. I think these 1 star reviews are just going to keep making them put even more effort to better keep updating and be more careful with everything. All and all I want to say is It's a great site.

I’m a long time member and regular visitor. I don’t hate this site. It has its faults, as do all chatsites. But the people who run it, they care. Site staff always does a good job of moderation, and listening to people’s concerns and dealing with reports, and they’re all very friendly and easy to get along with. But the main problem, is the room mods. Half of them don’t even know the majority of the rules, and a lot of them are kids that think they’re cool just cause they got a little emblem next to their username now. But there are real issues that need to be taken SERIOUSLY. There are real pedophiles, real scammers, real identity thieves, real catfishes. That shit is dangerous. Especially with the majority of the population on there being minors. And that’s probably my biggest critique. If they were to tighten the requirements on who gets to mod within rooms, such as adults who understand how dangerous the internet can be, I think chatogo would become a much safer place immediately.

Found out my underage cousin had an account there and was pretending to be a grown man trying to talk to people role playing as a pedophile I also had account so when I called them out for what they were doing they did get banned but the admin told me that it's disgusting for me to assume it was them I want to explain how I know it was them they got mad and banned me too but that's okay I told them I was going to block the site from my server IP and that's why they banned me.

As someone who is coming up on my first year here, it's been wonderful. I have an actual friend group on this site. The site staff are typically kind, honest, and communicate well. While there are a few.. Not so great users, typically everyone is kind. The guests are sometimes chill, while they do tend to misbehave a little more than other users. Ive had a wonderful time on this site, though. As someone whom is homeschooled, this site has helped me work through my social anxiety and has made me better at socializing in my day to day life. I do owe a lot to this site, and the people on it.

I'm a mod on chatogo and will admit some of the reviews here do touch base on some issues,and people are banned unfairly I know for a fact, I also think some of the reviews are previously banned people feeling hard done by, which I understand, there is lots that could be improved but lots of the mods are young and have no experience, we are told what to do by people that I suspect have little more experience than a lot of us tbh but I admit there is room for improvement some rules here are fr stupid but we don't write them only enforce them
For obvious reasons I'm not giving my username although some might guess hehe

I actually found really good friends on there, the rules are strict an some mods are interesting people but other than tht it's a really good site for like teens

Staff that would rather talk to minors than do their job, more pedos than roaches in New York, several active CP traders, and general poor performance net this a 1 star. Keep yourself and kids away was threatened with bans if I called out behavior on site

I would deffo question the person saying the bad reviews r false
some might be altho to my mind banned people or people bypassing mutes or whatever would have better things to do than leave bogus reviews,it requires far to much effort as ive found out leaving this one,i don't leave reviews other than the odd amazon review
I was banned for absolutely no reason at chatogo and speaking with someone on another site that uses it they told me that is very common, the staff if they can be called that are very trigger happy and ban people all the time,in my case i was told banned for bypassing a ban...which shocked me and made me laugh as ive never used the site before,with the exception of people using VPN's it would be very easy to check IP addresses and comfirm id never used the site before,its not exactly rocket science is it,but clearly the people that think they are running this site well have absolutely no idea what they are doing,i would guess many people here are banned unfairly

It also didnt go unnoticed that some of the mods are very rude,and will happily break some of the rules themselves but have the nerve to warn others about breaking them! the rule list which is massive btw and features some very stupid rules,some are actually pretty cringey,i certainly saw mods enforcing rules im positive they just made up,its very bad imo
My advice is re think the site and impliment better moderators

Rules a bit strict but given that it's a sfw site makes sense, most negative reviews appear to be banned bypassers and pedos being salty and simply lying about this site, which I have been on 2 years and have never seen an undeserved ban nor have been unfairly punished. (I originally forgot a rule or two and got muted) Also, the appeals email works now, checked it myself, talked with the owner on it, so you can appeal the bans. (Which are almost certainly all for good reason)

I have used the site a few times,won't be using it again.

I was warned by one of the 'child' mods for calling a bot the C word
A very low level infringement on any chatsite,not here,i got warned,even though it was a bot,bots don't have feelings,it was almost a joke but clearly no mods at chatogo have a sense of humor,the owner obviously wants puppet mods that will do exactly as they say,probably why most are children
Then another user said' STFU,yr a guest,all guests are pedos'
This recieved no warning whatsoever the mods in the room actually defended this person and told ME not to cause drama,if i hadnt actually witnessed this for myself,i would think i had been dreaming.
The mods see fit to interpret the rules as they see fit,and if a friend or registered user is involved they will side with them,guest users are treated extremely badly here
This place is SCREAMING out for proper moderation,from mature adults that know what they are doing,i wasnt even able to try and get them to see my point,as i was threatened with further warnings and threats of being muted,even though id done nothing wrong,these idiots have no comprehension of how damaging calling someone a pedo is,especially when these accusations are unfounded and without merit.
The owner should be appalled and embarassed at how they allow this site to be run.
Do not use this site,i really can't recomend it
i use a few chatsites and this is hands down the worse site ive used in a very long time
creating an account just to leave a review tells you a lot,but after my experience i felt compelled to write one,if it stops just one person being treated like i was then it has been worthwhile

I like the website! There are many good people there, and it is enjoyable to engage with everyone there. I noticed that there is a lot of hatred towards being banned accidentally, which just happened to me TODAY! Yes, I am mad, because I am being banned falsely, but I hope the truth will come out in the end. I can't get mad at the mods for banning me, because they were trying to stop this bypasser, and someone thought the bypasser was me. I just wish they would look into the account more and not just ban people left and right based on what they hear.
