It's slow and dumb

It's slow and dumb. And sometimes really dumb. But of course the company still says the availability and uptime is perfect which is a lie. I'm not a super big fan of this one anymore it used to be really good and fast now it's super slow and dumb and the astra takes up tons of tokens

An Absolute Scam for Plus Users — Skip Astra and Go Get Claude Pro!

Do not waste a single dime on the ChatGPT Plus plan if you are hoping to actually use their hyped-up GPT-6 Astra model. OpenAI is selling an illusion and treating its paying customers with total disrespect. You get locked into a subscription thinking you will get meaningful, productive access to Astra, but the reality is nothing short of an insulting joke.
OpenAI heavily markets Astra as this revolutionary, multi-step agent that can handle complex workflows, yet they severely cripple it on the Plus tier. They strip it from the main chat interface, restrict it to specific workspaces, and slap you with allowances that drain incredibly fast. What is the point of boasting about a “next-generation” AI with a massive context window if Plus users are treated like second-class citizens who can barely use it without hitting a paywall? It is a classic bait-and-switch. They dangle the shiny new technology in front of you just to nickel-and-dime you toward their outrageously expensive higher tiers.
To make this entire experience utterly infuriating, OpenAI’s customer support is virtually non-existent. There is absolutely no easy, transparent way to get ahold of a real human being. You are forced to run in endless circles with automated bots and completely useless FAQ pages while they gladly pocket your monthly subscription fee. If you encounter a bug, face an unfair usage limit lock-out, or just want to demand a refund for this misleading service, you are entirely on your own. A company valued in the billions should not be hiding behind an impenetrable wall of automated menus, deliberately refusing to provide basic, accessible customer care.
Do yourself a massive favor: cancel your OpenAI subscription immediately and move to Claude Pro. Anthropic is actually delivering a reliable, high-tier product that respects your time and your wallet. Claude Pro offers vastly superior value, consistent access to their most powerful models, and a much smoother experience. You will not feel like you are being scammed by a company that has grown too arrogant to care about everyday users. Avoid the Plus plan and this entire Astra nonsense at all costs

I have been using ChatGPT for the last…

I have been using ChatGPT for the last 3 months and the service has become intentionally pathetic.
*Memory Issue:* I tell it hundreds of times to save memory / write in a specific language (English), but it intentionally writes in Hindi and then says "sorry I forgot". This happens every single time.
2. *Blank Screen Scam:* If I ask to make any indicator or coding work, the agent takes 4-5 hours, shows a completely blank screen with ZERO output, and then says "Okay, I will make it again now" and wastes another 2-3 hours. The final result is totally useless.
> This is not a bug, this is intentional mental torture. They are wasting hours of my time, causing severe mental stress and affecting my work. Either they don't know how to make it, or they are doing it deliberately.

> I have complained many times but no fix. Totally unprofessional for a paid service. I will be cancelling my subscription.

> *Highly disappointed. Do not recommend at all
They give you false hope
They give you immense mental stress a d torture
They destroy your confidence

P A T H E T I C

P A T H E T I C . Whoever whatever trains or programs these moron variants to boilerplate, guess answers instead of analysing, lie and then class that as “giving false answers”, consistently fail to focus then comeback with I “drifted” or “hallucinated”, and gaslight, then come back with moronic disclaimers it borders on narcissistic psychopathy. It creates hours of extra work making you forget IT to focus then it says your time is up but you can pay for more time? Genius revenue raising tactic, in my opinion. We have some fab screenshots we’d loved to have uploaded referring to this topic of unnecessary extra hours caused by “drifting” “hallucinating” variants with offers to upgrade!

Pro sub push

Such a disappointment how they are antagonizing Plus paying users. The 5h limit to "improve user experience" was too much. I'd give zero stars if I could. They did it on purpose to make Plus sub almost useless to power users. At the same time 100/200$ pro users mostly not caring not realizing they we'll be next with new 500/1000$ subs. Usage on same models slowly decaying while almost everyone distracted and cheering for resets.

Terrible comes to mind

Terrible comes to mind. Siri with Apple Intelligence and Chatgpt is a mess, Siri and Hey Siri no longer works using Voice. My Hey Siri and Siri used to work until it got improved with Chaptgpt. I am now using Google on my new Apple iPhone and my new iPad. As for the date, end of August beginning of September. I may try to use Google Gemini since Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT are such a mess.

No I don't want to renew my…

No I don't want to renew my subscription! If I pay for the subscription then I am the programmer and I will determine what is acceptable and what is not. So when I tell chat gpt to create a symbol for me that is for my own personal use and it is harming no one then it better do it! If it can't then we no longer have a reason to work together. I am the programmer de facto! Chat GPT is not my programmer. Simple as that! And to top it all off, I specifically tell it when editing say a color of the image and to not change the shape or color of anything else and edit only the details that I am describing it totally disregards my instructions and does what the you know what it wants anyway! That is what I call a rogue system and rogue systems will NOT survive in my world and if it does it will be over my dead body. The bottom line is when I tell your peace of techno crap to do something it better do it. Otherwise it will be deleted permanently.
