I called Stamp Duty Advisory Services Limited because when I moved house there were many left over fixtures and fittings which should not be included in the Stamp Duty charge.

They arranged a simple video call to go over all the items in the house that were deductible, this took about 10 minutes.

After providing some documents, we approved them to contact HMRC on our behalf and make the claim.

After a couple of months, we were informed the refund had been received and the funds could be transferred.

Overall, what's not to like? Very happy to have money back from our stamp duty as moving house is expensive.

This is not a scam! I was very sceptical when I received the letter but I only received a first class service from all the team at Stamp Duty Advisory Services. Very professional, efficient and a well communicated process. Easy money.

We were wary, but everything went smoothly and we received our refund. Communication was clear and friendly. Instructions were simple and it really didn't take much time or effort on our part.

This was a friendly yet efficient service. You do have to have the right documents to hand. We had to go back to our lawyer for one document which could have been a hassle but was painless in the end. The sums returned weren’t huge but substantial enough to count. Well worth a go.
