The company is an old name, still provides an impressive range, and has excellent customer service. I've placed many orders. I recently used the refurbishment service for the first time, and the results were excellent. Like other reviewers, I have to observe that the company seems to partner with very poor delivery agents (I've had some awful delivery experiences), but the company themselves, their staff, their products, their services, are all very good indeed. I will happily recommend them to other potential customers.

Have been buying my candles for many years from CF. Needed another dozen beeswax pillar candles for the coming Christmas and winter. Have never had to report a fault with the candles but the Parcel Force delivery was atrocious - box dumped outside a door not in regular use in the torrential rain Scotland was experiencing on Friday Nov. 18 ignoring at least 3 covered places. No card was left and no photograph was on the tracking site. Box was accidentally found on Sunday but was too wet and damaged to move. Candles retrieved one by one. I heartily agree with iechydda that they need to use a different carrier and certainly report this poor delivery.

I made my order from France, but was never warned or advised on the website about possible customs duties. This really increased the price of the order.
Moreover, some of the candles have melted all over the candle holder and the table. I contacted the Charles Farris customer service and sent a picture to them; they totally ignored me and never even apologised for the very poor quality.

I have been buying from CF for about 8 years now, and the products are always good. This last time, CF unfortunately used Parcel Force to deliver. Fortunately after PF failed to deliver to a safe place, CF sorted it, and my package was delivered to a safe place. CF suggest that if I do not want them to PF, I can input it during the purchase request - will definitely do so next time.

Had a good experience with them last year

Contacted this company by email in the first instance regarding a particular item. Got a prompt reply but ever so slightly unprofessional. Irrespective, they had in stock one of the candles I was searching for and placed my order. I got an email reply regarding my order and six days later, nicely packaged, my delivery arrived. Contents sound and no problems with the delivery or quality of product.
