Absolutely DO NOT Buy from Charles and Nancy NY! It is a complete SCAM. The shipping takes forever and the pictures do not match what you get. Extremely poor quality. It's like they took a picture of idealistic images they present and quickly printed it on the cheapest polyester that feels like one is wearing glass. And of course, the printed dress comes out pixelated!

Scam company from outside of US that uses fake pictures and sends out trash clothing from outside of the US. They use a picture of a fake couple to make it seem like the business is family owned from New York and going out of business. Don't even think about buying from this SCAM company.

Scam Alert: Charles and Nancy Is NOT What It Seems

Do NOT be fooled by the polished website and the implication that Charles and Nancy is a boutique based in New York. This company is actually operating out of China, and the quality of their clothing is shockingly poor—thin, cheap-feeling polyester that’s no better than what you’d find on Temu or Shein, but at triple the price.

The images on the site are completely misleading. What I received looked NOTHING like what was advertised—ill-fitting, poorly made, and absolutely not worth the money. Shipping took weeks, and the customer service was useless. Any attempts to return the items were met with delays, excuses, or complete silence.

This is a classic drop-shipping scam dressed up to look like a legitimate U.S.-based store. Charles and Nancy is NOT a real New York fashion brand—it’s a front for low-quality, mass-produced junk.

Buyer beware: Avoid this site at all costs.

I purchased some orthopedic sneakers, and when I received them, they didn’t fit. They look nothing like the one that Charles and Nancy have on their site. Horrible I have emailed them. I have tried to get to at least exchange and they want me to pay them more money when they sent me some plastic shoes, not orthopedic crooked I have pictures.

I would give zero stars if I could. Their product is very poor. Sizing is also off. Their return policy is a joke. It’s called Charles & Nancy of New York…but I’m not sure that even exists. Returns are required to be shipped to China which in my case cost nearly double what I paid for the item. The dress was $55 the return shipping is $95. In what world does that make sense? They offered for me to keep the item and pay for an exchange. No thank you! Then they offered me 25% of my purchase to be refunded. Nope! Then they offered me a 15% refund. Maybe invest in a calculator we are going in the wrong direction. Do not under any circumstances do business with this company. Truly terrible!!!

I would like to rate it a zero if that was an option. A very dishonest company. I saw reviews that it was possibly a scam company and immediately contacted them to cancel my order. They lied and said it was already shipped. I was notified 2 weeks later that it was actually shipped. I asked about the origin of the product and they act as if it is coming from the states when it is coming from China. I paid $50 for a jumpsuit that I could fit in my fist. It was a screen print and the material was not even something wearable. Possibly a couple dollars or less to produce, if that. To return, you must pay $27 in shipping and they do not guarantee a refund, as they said “send back at the risk of it being delayed or lost in customs” and they will not credit if they claim they did not get it. It is a scam and I hope my review will save others from buying a product that looks nothing like their pictures.

This is a scam. Said they were a boutique in New York that was closing. Complete lie. Product shipped from China not New York. Quality of the product is horrible and cheap, not boutique quality. Went to send it back and it would have cost $310 to send it back which is more than what I paid for the products. Their customer service told me to keep the clothes and give them away and they would refund me 25% of what I paid. Absolute rip off!!Do not buy anything from this website!!

This is a scam. It isn't a real store and the clothing they send is the cheap quality stuff you find on Amazon. Also, they don't actually complete returns. They have you pay to send it back and they refuse to accept it. Steer clear. Admittedly, I'd like to think that I'm too smart for this but they got me.

What a waste! Their website doesn’t let on everything is coming directly from mainland China and it’s the usual cheap crap. This is NOT a trendy boutique based in New York. Beyond disappointed and aggravated. I have never received anything from China that was quality, not one single thing!

This company portrays itself "Charles & Nancy New York is proudly delivering timeless, high-quality fashion across the United States...Experience the elegance and energy of New York..." There is no physical address in New York. Business appears to be online ONLY.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. Items purchased elicit sub-standard quality - sadly, Target and Walmart offer higher caliber clothing. All items are shipped to customers from China. It took my order over 3-weeks to arrive. Their website charles-nancy.com indicates full refund (which is true), what they don't tell you is "You" are responsible for shipping all items with "recommended tracking" to "China". Their recommended shipping partner, DHL, reflects a 3lb box costing OVER $200 USD (almost what I paid for my couple of items).

Although the email conversations were polite, I would recommend steering clear of this business. Lack of integrity and poor quality. Refund Policy Misleading & Inflicts Exorbitant Costs to the Consumer.

This company is a scam! Please save yourself the trouble and do not order from this co. They're allegedly the same co as PrestonandPayton.com. Same type of website, same clothing offered, same ads. I saw an ad from them and ordered the dress that was being advertised. They sent a vague email order confirmation with a picture of another dress attached to the confirmation. I questioned them about the dress pictured on the email and of course they said, the package had already been shipped and there was nothing they could do, but if I have any issues once the package is received I can return the item for a refund. They didn't know that I took a screen shot of the dress that I actually ordered and sent that to them confirming their scam! Once the package was received, of course it was not what I ordered. I contacted them for a refund and they said I could keep the dress and pick another style from their website and pay a fee to ship it. I refused and again requested a refund. They said I would have to pay for the return shipping to CHINA! Why would I pay for return shipping when the co. knowingly sends a dress that I did not order. I refused and filed a claim with my credit card co. and received a refund. I have not received anymore communication from them.

How do I know this is the same co... they are advertising the same dress, the website is identical (they recently changed it a little) they both state they are closing...one states closing after 15 years, the other closing after 25 years, but the websites were created in 2025. All the signs of a scam! Don't order from this co. Oh and those reviews are all alleged lies...notice how they don't state any specifics about the clothing ordered, only general info about how great the shop is. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Don't do it!

Total scam. Charles & Nancy New York are pretending to be a NY mom & pop boutique (that doesn’t exist), but they’re selling cheap, knockoffs of the things they’re offering on the site that look nothing like what is shown and aren’t made from the materials advertised (the shirt I got was supposed to be linen but looks like it’s made out of paper towels). When you try to get you money back (they offer “satisfaction guaranteed or your money back”), they tell you that you have to send the item back to China with tracking on your dime despite the fact that what they sent only vaguely resembles what they sold you. Steer clear!
