NOT A UK REGISTERED COMPANY DESPITE SAYING LONDON. Ordered size UK13 shoes. They were not even size 11's. Advertised as reduced from £100 to £55. Wouldn't have paid £20 for them. Poor quality and no sizing on them to tell whether they were the companies correct size. Asked for my money back and return postage because they were not fit for purpose, but they refused. They will accept returns but only if I pay the postage. These guys are a complete scam. Buyer beware.

They are a scam. I used ChatGP to write a complaint letter and Paypal eventually refunded me but I had to return the rubbish they sent me back to HongKong - importantly, the address Paypal gave me. I used UPS and because I had decent tracking I got my money back from Paypal, as I had proof of my return (I wasn't refund the UPS delivery charge £35, but got what I spent back, £300)

A terrible experience. The London address is a scam and registered mail was returned.
The garment when it eventually arrived was undersized and had no laundry instructions.
"Jake" did everything possible to avoid a return or offered a pitiful refund.
Buyer beware !!

Do not buy from this company!! quality is horrendous and nothing like the advertised picture. Spent £95 and when I asked about returning the products, was told I could have a 20% refund or I have to return items to some address in China... right!! If you spend money with this company you will be throwing it away, so don't bother.

This company is based in China despite it saying Chaps Of London so dint fall for it. The quality, size and fit of items is not as depicted so I would not purchase items from them again. If you need to return items this needs to be considered as it will cost you to post back items at your expense and they are not very helpful at all in doing that either. At best you may get to keep the items and receive a 10-25% discounted rate but that's poor based on the quality, size and fit of the items which seem as though they are styled by an eye with wonky bifocals and not by any particular body fit. The item I purchased is nothing like the one in the image I purchased either so don't be fooled by the glossy website name or its apparent location.

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are fraudsters! They take your money then never deliver the item. I chase them on a daily basis and keep being told ‘it’s in transit’ it never arrives and they won’t give me a refund until I receive the item and send it back…but how can I do that when it never arrives?! It’s now with my credit card company as raised as a fraudulent activity. THE COMPANY NEEDS STRIKING OFF!!

DO NOT ORDER from this website. Made a mistake of not checking trust pilot. Jumper eventually arrived, quality was shocking, looked like it had been shrunk in the wash and looked nothing like the picture. Have sent 3 emails asking for the return address. When they eventually reply they do not give you an address, they try and fob you off with more questions on why you want to return the product and advise it is cheaper to keep it as shopping costs are extortionate! £70 down!

Was worried after reading reviews as I needed to return items.
Had correspondence from Jake after requesting return details and felt I needed to share the service received which was excellent therefore felt I wanted to share my experience, items returned on 10th October and received a refund today.

This is a blatant scam. Ordered 5 weeks ago and when chased, “Jake” from their customer services team (always seems to be Jake…!?) has advised on 2 separate occasions, they have raised the matter with the ‘relevant department’ and will update further when they know more. They have my money and I’m at a bit of a loss what to do next, I’ve threatened legal action and they send a stock response about how they have escalated the matter internally…!!!🤯🤯🤯

Do not order anything from Chapsoflondin, total rubbish, product quality rubbish, slow customer service support, and no refund despite sending numerous emails, terrible avoid at all cost!

This companies returns policy is disgusting you may believe you are purchasing from a London based UK company when in fact your order is of the poorest quality and shipped from overseas possibly China, should you have any problems you the buyer has to cover the cost of returning to overseas which costs in many cases more than the item do not touch this company

Still waiting for item to arrive Been in contact with company and once I asked for a refund updates on order suddenly appeared but still no item. AI response emails

This company is not based in UK, your order comes from CHINA. No cancellation of order allowed, returns have to be sent back to china at your expense.
Delivery times are lengthy and quality of the product is very poor. Sizing is also poor- large sized jacket ordered. Sleeves are short and length in the body of jacket was also short. The lining of the jacket feels like plastic and is not breathable!

Absolutely do not order anything from this fake company. I did, but I failed to check the Trustpilot rating before hand. Their communications are a joke, with no order numbers or despatch info and their customer service emails are a very suspicious. I have never received the goods ordered but luckily as I paid by credit card I have been able to get a refund of the payment. STAY AWAY as it's a scam website.

Chaps of London is very misleading. They are not a London UK based retailer. Even thou they put a UK returns address on the parcel you are not allowed to use it. They expect you to email them initially to return an item and then you are given an address in CHINA to return your goods which will cost a fortune and you will never get a refund! They don’t send the size you order either, prompting a return. I advise anyone to read their reviews before ordering as I wish I had. I have been totally RIPPED OFF. This retailer needs reporting to trading standards and putting out of business! Disgraceful!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I can’t believe I bought something from this company. They are not in London or even the UK, but China! The item is nothing like the image, it took ages to get to me and now if I want to refund I have to send it to China at my expense.

Absolutely horrible company. They call themselves chaps of london but all the products are shipped from China and the company address is in China. The chaps of london have nothing to do with London. Quality of product is below any acceptable standards. To return you have to pay for postage to China. The products are from awful synthetic material and look nothing like the photos.

chaps of london if i could give zero stars I would ..I should have looked at the reviews..the trousers were supposed to be stretch fabric no stretch what so ever .massive width on the legs supposed to be slim fit waist size is 3 sizes smaller than should be..material is crap ..cheap Chinese rubbish..it says on the advert it's from a shop in London.. NO its from China.. no such shop in London.its a rip off ...no replies just a generated message...in an email ..this site should be banned...don't buy.......
