This Cex.Io is a totally scam app.. November 3, 2024 I bought 84 usdt using my debit card.. They Debited into my bank account 100 USD for 84 Usdt. When purchase is done, then This app asking me for credit card with selfie verifecetion. but pervious time i open account with my selfie and drving licance.. After that when i upload a photo with my debit card and selfie then they Stop my verification process.. After some time i lost my account acess.. This app is totally scam. I got scammed 100 USD, but I can't get nothing. I Hope everyone alert. And this app is Trustpilot review 4star i think this is paid review.. They are totally scamer.. But this app good reivew is totally fake..

i deposited 935 usdt on 14 october…

i deposited 935 usdt on 14 october 2024, after that i received a message to submitted some additional documents, i submitted and after 24 hours i got response back to submit some more documents and this way in 1 week i submitted all required documents, because everytime i receive reply from support after 24 hours, after submitting all required documents support is not replying since 2 weeks, if any other proof is required i am here to provide you, but at least support should reply i understand that support is busy but now its almost 2 weeks thats way more than normal response time.

VERIFICATION/LIVE CHAT SUPPORT

I have been using cex.io for more than 4 years with a good experience but the issue started when my previous international passport expired and i was unverified to re upload a new valid ID in 2023....

I have renewed my international passport and i have attempted to re verify since then more than 50 times but not always successful when i was doing everything right....

I still attempted to use my National ID which was also not successful....

There is no way to contact the team for issues as the provided mail support will always return an auto reply of contact through live chat...

I have attempted the live chat on several occasions but no button to type a message and many of my friends too facing same issue on the live chat not working....

I contacted on Twitter DM also there is no response.....

Kindly please check my account if possible to do a manual verification for me as i believe there is a bug in your verification app.....Many thanks.....

The cex.io is a scamm stay away from…

The cex.io is a scamm stay away from them , i send the btc to my wallet on cex.io and its confirmed on blockchain more than 90 confirmations but still its pending without reason from cex.io i have contact the support more than 1 milions time they dont answer nothing just shit , i have make a call to police and wee see in Judge with this scammer cex.io , i will report everywhere .

First time everything goes well. But now i try buy cryptos but page only loading. I try contact support but that chat bot can't contact me with human. I am paying customer but cant buy product. :D I try contact support with email but automatic message says it not possible... I not understand.

CROOKS!
These crooks charge a service fee and a convert fee. That's not the crooked part. The crooked part is they low ball the fair market value of the coinS. If your coin has a fair market value of $10. CEX. IO will lower it to $9.25. So by the time your done withdrawing your $600 in the hole. Crooks!

I recently started trading on the app…

I recently started trading on the app verify my identity and verify card. They asked me to send in my bank statement I did so and they giving me the run around and now stop answering the chat and email. Each time I try to withdraw they reject my withdrawal for no reason.

CEX.IO allowed someone to use my Debit…

CEX.IO allowed someone to use my Debit account information to make several purchases and then when contacted (which is difficult to do since they have no working phone number and only let you speak through emails) the company will not refund the funds, even though they say on their website they do a full verification process of users and their accounts, which is supposed to include face photo and photo ID verification.... So it's strange that they can not quickly see that the person that they allowed to make the purchases was not me. Customer service is a joke and their protection of peoples information is even more laughable, they allow scammers to use stolen bank information and make the victim jump through hoops knowing that the person they allowed to make the transactions was not the bank account owner.
Do not do business with them, stay far away from these scammers and money hungry pigs!

Don’t trade with Cex.io your money is at risk and their support won’t answer you no matter what’s you say they scamming people and forcing you to do things that they know you saying the truth about but they just want to have your money seems like theft to me. They suspended my account and ask me to send my funds to the card on my account and I told them the card has been blocked but they insist I send the money into the blocked card is that even possible I even tried sending small amount to the card and then it got declined cause the card ain’t in service anymore I sent them the screenshot and they kept saying I should still send to the blocked card how please? They won’t even allow me add a new card they kept rejecting it

The support team stopped replying and kept me on mute with no reply still now.

It feels like a scam

It feels like a scam. I stayed away from them for three years and recently returned to withdraw my $100. Their website required me to complete KYC again, but KYC is no longer available on the site. So, I downloaded their app to try to complete it there. However, when attempting to do KYC, I kept encountering an error message: "Something went wrong."

I reached out to their support team, but they no longer respond to emails and only offer support through a chat widget. I tried using the chat widget, but after three or four days, I still received no response.

Honestly, it feels like a scam—no proper support, vague error messages, and you can deposit money, but withdrawing it seems impossible. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with them to anyone.

Two words: Stay away!

Two words: stay away.
When you deposit, all good.
When you try to withdraw your funds (more than 500) in any currency, they will start the show: Pending transaction.
It stay like that for days.
The customer support is answered after 2 days, and have general answers,you feel like speaking with a BOT. Do yourself a favour and Keep your money safe elsewhere....

Claims the withdrawal was successful using a bad address, but now wants 25% fee to recover the funds.

Well, I submitted a withdrawal and provided my wallet address. All went well, or so it seems. They said that the withdrawal was successful. So, I checked what had happened since I had not received it. Looking into the details, I saw that the address I provided had a letter "p" appended to it (not sure how it got there, but it did). Making the address invalid since the address is a hexadecimal address. (All I did was cut and paste, and there were no previous issues.) In reality, the withdrawal should have not been successful as the address has an invalid character. (As an experiment, I used the same address that was "success" on a wallet, and tried to send funds. This immediately resulted in an invalid address message.)

I then contacted customer support. And their response was the transaction was successful with the invalid character. That the process is irreversible. But then, if I wanted their technical support team to recover the funds, that I need to pay a 25% service fee to the technical team. And then, they would recover the funds within 48 hours.

CEX.io Account Restriction Raises Concerns: Misleading Information and Unresponsive Support

I, Alex Bogle, a resident of Jamaica and a long-standing CEX.io user (account number up130315937), hereby formally request the immediate release of my funds currently held by CEX.io.

On August 30th, 2024, my account was abruptly restricted, with the platform stating "it no longer services my country, Jamaica." This contradicts CEX.io's own website, which explicitly outlines the process for Jamaican users to buy and exchange cryptocurrency.

Furthermore, on August 15th, 2024, I received confirmation from CEX.io support representative Krista that my account was operational and had a daily withdrawal/deposit limit of $10,000:

"Upon checking your account up130315937 I found that it's operational & properly verified... Currently, you can use our platform with the Address account type limits... I want to clarify that you can deposit up to 10,000 USD daily and withdraw up to 10,000 USD daily..."

Relying on this, I deposited funds on August 30th, 2024, a transaction successfully recorded by CEX.io.

Immediately following this deposit, my account was restricted. Despite providing extensive personal and financial information as requested by CEX.io's support team, I have received no further communication or resolution since August 30th, 2024. The last communication I received was:

"As I see the email address reflected in the screenshots and the email address associated with your CEX.IO account do not match. Could you please take an additional screenshot confirming that the redacted belongs to you?"

The sudden and unjustified restriction of my account, the withholding of my funds, and the lack of transparent communication from CEX.io are deeply concerning. I believe these actions constitute a breach of trust and potentially violate applicable financial regulations.

I demand the immediate release of my funds and a clear explanation for the account restriction. Should CEX.io fail to comply, I will be compelled to escalate this matter by filing formal complaints with relevant regulatory bodies and pursuing all available legal avenues to recover my funds.

CEX.io must recognize the gravity of this situation and take immediate action to rectify it. The continued withholding of my funds without a valid reason is unacceptable and will undoubtedly have severe consequences for their reputation and customer trust.

UPDATE : it is true cex.io will continually ask you to verify where the money is coming from and no matter the information you provide they will continue asking for more information. I have provided emails, profile details, transaction history, and wallet information; everything they have asked for I have sent them. it's been 4 days now and I'm yet to still get a turnaround time and regain access to my wallet and account. I will not delete this post until they have rectified my situation.

I would like to again formally apologize to the staff at cex.io; also I would like to clear up yes I was able to regain access to my wallet and successfully withdraw my funds to card. In regards to the process I really belive things couldve been handle differently with alot more transparency. The live chat can definitely do some rework as the response time and how to even speak to a live agent is very tideous. The website needs to optimized to give the users and smoother experience and bless don't be afraid to really put the notification center to use when it comes to updating users on what to submit was it read and the different stages along the way so that we can know what's happening instead of being left on read and told there is no eta. With people finaces it's very hard to stomach not knowing when or if you'll hear back from the team handling your hard earned money. Please update your licenses and regulations and also on your website
