Avoid CES QUARRY PRODUCTS
My wife and I were building our dream home and wanted a polished liquid screed floor to get the WOW factor whilst giving maximum benefit from the underfloor heating.
CES were given the job. It was not cheap at over £6000 but worth it we thought.
Within months of the floor being laid we noticed some cracks appeared in the kitchen floor area.
3 times CES sent someone out to inspect and repair. Each attempt only made the floor look worse.
Do not use this company would be my advice.
On the third visit the guy doing the polishing let slip that they knew there is a problem with cracks appearing round waste pipes and the solution that they could but don't use is to put a wire mesh around such an area.
I could have saved thousands by getting a standard screed floor and laying tiles on top. Given the cracks and the dismal repair we are in all likelihood going to end up paying a tiler to cover the entire floor with tiles as we cannot face looking at this rubbish job for the rest of our lives.
