This is the most frustrating
This is the most frustrating, inefficient business I have had the misfortune to deal with. Avoid them if you possibly can! (After MANY calls, and a total mistake by the company, I was polite and calm with yet another call center representative today…who hung up on me. This business - Humana - should be banned from working in the health field.
Their auto-order does not work
Their auto-order does not work. No one will tell you this. You will still need to go online to refill your RXs each time. The website is vague, so you can't tell with any certainty whether or not they have filled your RX. They are of NO HELP with any issues; they just act like everything is functioning perfectly. There needs to be some law passed to sanction these outfits; doctors have to take an oath to"do not harm", why don't pharmacy workers (they are part of one's medical team)? It was supposed to be here on the 14th...it's the 17th. I still don't know when my RX will arrive.
Centerwell pharmacy is hard to contact
Centerwell pharmacy is hard to contact. I be on hold for 20 minutes or more most calls. You can get true help on the portal or dashboard every time I try to sign in to chat3 it says they busy cant help me even though its during the business days and hours. They claim the shipped and delivered my meds but they didnt. Only thing delivered was a cooler with an ice pack in it no meds.but when you do speak with them they are helpful and nice just good luck getting ahold of them
If you have multiple orders and there is an issue with one, they hold them all back!
I had an order with three different prescriptions.
One had expired, and I had a new PCP.
I provided them with the name of the new PCP, and they claimed to have his numbers. They had the wrong ones.
They held up ALL THREE prescriptions, even though the problem was with one of them. I called them after five days, and they PROMISED to send the other two.
They didn't.
Called them again after another five days. It's now more than 11 days from the original auto-renew order and they haven't shipped out my BP and cholesterol medicines, which have plenty of refills and are from my current cardiologist.
They are very very annoying
They are very very annoying, call constantly and can't make one call for all scripts. They also like to call and question my doctor about prescriptions instead of just filling the dang thing, that wastes more time when I just want it filled because they have to track down my doctor. I can't stand dealing with this company and wish Humana would go back to being able to get your meds from the local pharmacy.
Umana and Centerwell - worst presciption drug insurance and pharmacy ever
Cheap and terrible service. Needed a medication quickly, 5 days after Dr called it in, hadn't gone out yet. Ridiculous excuses. Said another 3-5 business days. Asked for it quicker, another fee, This was through Humana, bad experience all around.
Now 3 days later it gets worse. They offered to send the prescription to CVS, for 10 tablets while I wait. Went to CVS. They asked CVS to fill the entire prescription and I had to pay in full, it was not covered.
Then I received a notice that they do not cover this medication, there is nothing special about it, and I spent more than 2 hours on the phone with Humana and Centerwell. They did not say anything about this. Prescription sent in Monday, they tell me this Friday, and I am unable to change insurance.

I cannot gets my prescriptions refilled via the mail order option. There is no "customer service agent" available that can help or speak using English as a first language.
For the prescription service that is marketed for Medicare patients, this is absolutely the worse. Worse even then Express Scripts and that is pretty bad

The worst customer service I have ever experienced patients are not a priority at all can’t use a phone to talk to doctor then can’t read script and go by it and can’t the medication to the patient even after a month of every day phone calls

Horrible customer service. Got sent wrong prescription dosage and was not able to be refunded. Also never received email or any communication about a canceled order so ended up being without meds my cardiologist prescribed. Save yourself money and health and go somewhere else for your meds.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SVC - QUESTIONABLE POLICIES
My prescription was called in by my Dr. on Mar 27. I heard nothing back, so called for verification Mar 31. Prescription was then transferred to the pharmacy from NovoCare. I received notice of receipt by Centwerwell and was told I would hear back within 2 days. Apr 6 (after hearing nothing), I called again. After holding for 45 minutes, I was finally able to speak with a rep who arranged for fulfillment and shipping. However, the price I was told would be $199 suddenly became $349. I will NEVER do business with them again. Buyer Beware!!!

Not Happy With Centerwell, when I called, I had to go though 3 advocates to reach a pharmacist I had ask each person to connect to a pharmacist which meant I got transferred from one advocate to the next which wasted my time and my stress levels are through the roof at this point, it makes me mad when I get theses messages from Centerwell saying they can not reach my Doctor to get my prescription refilled when talking to the pharmacist I made sure that they have the correct fax number to contact my Doctor to refill my prescriptions. I have asked Centerwell many times to put all my medication on auto delivery they can't seam to follow my instructions I have been with Centerwell for more than a year now. Do you think they can get everything that I need correct with my medication the answer is no. so the question is would I recommend Centerwell to other families... my answer is no not until there is improvements with the way they do business.
Agent incompetence
No problem contacting by phone. The problem is every agent I spoke to gave me different pricing and different delivery dates. As my husband runs out of his medication for diabetes, I feel every agent lied to me just to get me off the phone. The lip service was great if only it was true.
A horrible experience all around!
I have experienced extended processing and shipment delays from this company. Calls to customer service are a frustrating and useless exercise. When you're finally able to speak with a pharmacist, they're often rude and surly, placing the blame for any issues with the customer. Shipments often take upwards of 10 days to get from the loading dock to the post office. After archiving medications in an effort to sever business ties with them, Centerwell was still contacting my doctor trying to initiate a new prescription. Nothing deters these people. They are highly aggressive and unethical in their approach to business.
Severe Heartburn from their medications
It appears I am the only one who has complained about the quality of their medications. I have been with Humana for many years now and from the beginning, CenterWell 's medications give me really bad heartburn. The prescriptions where all pink in color which I thought was odd so I switch to a local pharmacy and the heartburn issue disappeared. Recently I filled a script through them because the cost was cheaper. Again severe heartburn. Fortunately, I had some left over from another pharmacy and it is fine. I will never again use medications from CenterWell. I believe their medications are extremely poor quality. That is my opinion anyway.

They seem not to understand you in amy language its very sad customer service will put you on hold then hang up on you they are rude arrogant and have people working there that could care less about your issues .almost all speak with heavy non understanding accents .if you ask for a supervisor they either hang up or refuse. I have complained but nothing changes. They just put people's health in risk with their games and tactics..i guess until something happens to a customer that winds up being a big legal investigation or lawsuit they will not stop .time to start reporting them to different agencies since humana doest want to fix the issues
Fraud
Centerwell is a absolute joke. They lied to me 4 times saying that they mailed my medications. I never received them. They gave me fake tracking and conformation numbers. The lady I spoke to on the phone with even admitted that they were fraud. Unbelievable. Stay far away from this company.

My wife and I have Hamana as our Medicare Par D prescription provider. Since they rebranded themselves as Centerwell Pharmacy their service has become terrible. We are inundated with letters, email and text messages from them for non-actionable reasons. If you go to their website, communication preferences, there is no way to turn this garbage off. As a result, we disregard all communication they send out. So, for short term prescriptions we fill them at Walmart or Costco. Today I learned that Centerwell is now trying to xfer our prescriptions from Walmart to Centerwell. I called them and they said that they sent us an email about transferring prescriptions and when they did not hear back from us they started the transfer process on their own.
Uncaring and unprofessional
Terrible. Submitted a prescription for a much needed medication for my COPD on March 18, 2026, and still waiting. I ran out of my medication two weeks ago. Most of the representatives had such an accent that I struggled to understand them or they couldn't understand me. Kept checking the status of my medication online, and after spending two hours on the phone with them this morning, still don't know when I'll receive it. The reps I talked to gave me a different story depending on which one I talked to. Was told that they sent a request to my doctor for more info on March 26 (eight days after the prescription was submitted), although my insurance had already approved the medication. Was told I needed to drive two hours to Orlando to pick the medication up, so I called the Orlando location before I drove all the way there, and they told me that they were now requiring therapy notes from my doctor. My doctor's office contacted them today to find out that all they needed was a list of my other medications, although Centerwell is currently filling all of my medications. Was told today that I have to give them another 24-72 hours for them to process that information. So, it will be almost three weeks before I will find out when I might receive my medication. I just went back to Centerwell about six weeks ago because of my previous interactions with them. Going to do whatever I have to so that I can change back to Walgreen's. Have used them for years and they always went above and beyond to take care of my prescription needs.

I was new to the company. My provider suggested Centerwell to save money. First time I called, horrible customer service. Couldn't answer my questions on why I had not received prescription, and were very rude. I reported rep and cancelled account. Stay with your local pharmacy!!
