Incompetent Pharmacy
Incompetent customer service. Don't fill prescriptions. They make you jump through hoops to get your meds. Terrible pharmacy. Do not use.
Extremely hard from the very beginning…
Extremely hard from the very beginning to log on, who knew to use a lower case letter for the beginning of a sentence, how dumb am I, also waited 2 weeks for initial medication, didn’t have an option for faster delivery, called to find out why, been on hold for over half an hour now, customer service rep had no idea why, claimed not the normal, I highly doubt it. I thought cvs was bad, this takes the cake.
I would rate zero stars if I could
I would rate zero stars if I could. They messed up my order and I had to call them 4 times .. they charged me twice for the medication after not being able to find the prescription in the first place in their system. They do not hire enough staff to man their phone lines and the hold time is 1.5 hrs +++ this is the worst customer service and I would NOT RECOMMEND filling your script with them. Look for another specialty pharmacy. I cannot believe this is how they do business - no email , no option for them to call back when it is your turn like most businesses have in 2026 and their website chat feature does not work. JUST AWFUL - you will be so frustrated and there is nothing you can do. They simply don't care 1 bit about their customers; it is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY to Centerwell. So very disappointing to know this is allowed to even happen.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Can't locate my prescription in online account. On hold on the phone until I give up and hang up. One of the absolute most inept companies I have ever dealt with. Don't deal with them. I assure you that you will regret it.
Horrible Customer Service
My doctor called my prescription in twice. Both times Centerwell Pharmacy said they didn't receive it. I can't get my medication refilled because this company is so inept. I spent 3 hours total on hold yesterday, and I am currently on hold for an hour so far today. I have never had such a bad experience with a company. People are in need of medication, this company should not be allowed to handle people's prescriptions.
CenterWell Pharmacy sucks!!!!!
CenterWell Pharmacy sucks!!!!!! Customer service doesn't exist. It's so maddening.
Centerwell Pharmacy is impossible to contact!
Centerwell Pharmacy is impossible to contact. First the script is taking over a week to fill. I'm now trying to cancel it and can't get through to them. Phone contact has over 2 hour wait. The online chat worked the first time but then they advised me to call. Now the chat doesn't show up online at all. And I downloaded the app and it's not working at all. I'm now on hold again for over 40 minutes when it initially advised a 20 minute wait time. Horrible service!!
Centerwell is a large call center
Centerwell is a large call center. They can be very and many times very bad. They can be extremely stressful when trying to get someone to help. Avoid them if u can!!
The really deserves 0 Stars
This is a horrible company and customer service is trash. Humana is connected to them and is just as bad. I was with them for a while and the customer service got worst every time. Don't waste your time or energy with them. They don't care about their customers or needs. The pharmacist, managers,
and representatives are very rude and feel like they don't have to answer your questions.
After transfer of a prescription from…
After transfer of a prescription from other pharmacy, had to be on line with 3 different persons for total of 50+ minutes and dropped the call in frustration. Asked my doctor to provide a new prescription to another pharmacy and got the medicine next day. So Humana should consider switching their mail order pharmacy elsewhere to more subscriber friendly.
Feb 21, 2026 update. After the previous remark, I found out the Humana pharmacy was renamed as Centerwell 2-3 years ago. Because of the problems, rename may have been a “ damage control “ exercise of Humana.
They can't get anything right!
I have been having issues with Centwell since Humana switched to them 3 or 4 years back. I didn't think there would be any service disruptions, but I have been repeatedly frustrated with them. Left feedback, called them multiple times, and chatted with them to no avail. They repeatedly sent Rx before the refill time, so I had months' worth of Rx piling up. Then, when you go to the Dr, and they send a new Rx, they will send the Rx again, even though it was not time for a refill. So I decided to stop auto-refill, but my problems with them did not end there. At times, due to travel or other circumstances, if I asked to send a small order of Rx to get me through, they refused, and I would have to go to a local pharmacy and pay out of pocket. I have 2 addresses on file for them, and now they started sending the Rx to the non-primary location, even though the default address is my home address. I am so fed up with them that I have decided to transfer all my Rx to another Pharmacy and will get the doctor's office to stop sending future Rx to them.
Seems Like a Third Rate Beta Model
New mail order for my Part D Rx. Absolutely horrendous.
I switch plans nearly every January - so this is not my first rodeo. Every single other switch was nearly automatic. I log in, transfer my prescriptions from the prior mail order pharmacy, order what I need, set them on automatic refill, and mostly forget about it.
Not with CenterWell. In theory I am allowed to transfer prescriptions (there is an option built into the website), but none were listed. I was advised to wait, it might take a few minutes to populate. Several days later - still none to transfer.
So I decided to use their AI chat. The first response was completely nonsensical (like the AI bot recognized one word out of 50, and found an answer that contained that one word). I responded "No" it didn't answer the question. It then informed me that I needed to come back during business hours, since no agents were available after hours - I was chatting at around 2:30 on a Tuesday - well within their business hours.
After several tries, I figured out how to get it to turn me over to a real person. The person was very clearly reading from some sort of decision tree guidance, and had no actual knowledge about transferring existing prescriptions (a trivial process any halfway competent pharmacy can do - all of my mail order prescriptions are transferred every January, and I have lots of experience with this, including transferring from brick and mortar to mail order). She insisted it could not be done. I had to reach out to every doctor and get a new prescription (or let them do it).
I finally gave up banging my head against a brick wall and started a "new" prescription. It got worse. None of my doctors were listed as available providers. They seem to be building a list of providers as individual customers add them - an inherently error prone way of creating a provider list. (I accidentally proved how error prone it was when I entered the wrong phone number for my doctor - and it accepted it, with no readily apparent way to correct it. I had to add a second entry using a slight variation on his name, creating two different entries for the same doctor. Ultimately I found a way to delete it, so at least I didn't add to the problem.)
And then the medication took longer than anticipated - with a delay added because they created a USPS label at least 2 days before they bothered to get the medication to the USPS.
We finally received it, a few days after. I ran out of one if the meds. And I immediately started getting notices that one of my medications was on hold and could not be shipped - a medication I happened to be holding in my hand as the text message came in telling me they couldn't fill the prescription. Apparently they requested a second prescription from my doctor for that medicine - and, thank goodness, the system blocked them from filling it (and charging me a second time for it).
And finally (more if an annoyance than a serious problem), even though I tell the website to remember my device every time I log in, it requires a one-time-passcode for every single visit. Since I order meds for both my spouse and me, this means I have to have my spouse's phone in hand whenever I need to order meds, check on shipments, etc I went through the ame routine with the AI chatbot - nonsensical answer, call back during business hours (it was during business hours), agent who knew less than the first one, then advice to call the help line, since technical staff can't use chat). I did at least find a solution I'll offer for anyone in a similar situation - the phone app does not require a passcode for every login.
There really ought to be an option to rate a business with zero stars!
Update: 03/30/2026: They FINALLY figured out how to transfer prescriptions. Sort of. One of around a dozen pre-existing prescriptions was finally listed as available for transfer. I guess that is progress. One is better than zero - and at least it was one that I needed to within the next month. Hope that is enough time to get the transfer and renewal processed.
Update - 04/16/2026 - A month is not enough time. They actually don't now how to transfer prescriptions. They have now lost the single prescription that was available for transfer. Twice. I've now spoken to the pharmacist - who seems very mystified about even the possibility of transferring from pharmacy to pharmacy. (As part of the conversation with her, I confirmed that two additional prescriptions I ordered have also vanished from their system, and have now been requested again.)
Why isn't there an option for zero stars?
STOP and review all these comments…
STOP and review all these comments before you do anything with Centerwell they are horrible
Like many of these on here, I went to on 1/1/26 and it was recommended that I go to Centerwell for my online pharmacy! I had expressed strips for many years and I had a little bit of problems but once you get your mojo, you kinda know what to do. I was satisfied Center will is a whole new game. I had a prescription put in on January 29, 2026, and like everybody else I get excuse after excuse it’s in review it needs a pre-authorization they can’t tell me what pre-authorization is when I already know my doctor sent pre-authorization they were supposed to retrieve everything from Cvs to their office and they were supposed to go to my doctors office and retrieve all of that from them! So far, I am sending them an invoice for a two hour and a half because 15 minutes for each hour break for the work I’ve done. They literally asked me for the review code so they could put it in review for me and I said I’m not the doctor I don’t know what the review code is. I literally look up review codes for all the stuff that they were supposed to put in review to see if my Humana would cover it under my Medicare. I am a nervous wreck at this point it’s not worth the medication that I need. I try to tell them I don’t want the medicine. I need the medicine. I understand oh I’m sorry is what they say. No worries if I hear one more person at Center will say no worries and then leave me in the dark for another three months. ! I’m just at a loss. I have part D which if anyone has part D and they pay for it you pay it in quarters as you get your medication’s so if I don’t do something in this quarter I double and that’s $1000 for my medicine next quarter which starts in March, it’s all a equation game with this part D Medicare, which really sucks for the average person that has actually a payment to have to pay a lot of it’s just covered by another secondary or something. I don’t have that so I’m looking at $2000 for the year for medication on top of my discounted price like Ozempic is $199 a month on top of the 500 for the three months so that’s 1100.00for that for the quarter or more depending on if I need other medications that might not qualify as free or low payment
Would definitely advise against using…
Would definitely advise against using Center Well as your mail in Pharmacy!! have been trying to get a prescription filled for over three weeks now. Got an email telling me that it was being processed and they would let me know when it would be delivered. Then five days later received an email telling me they could not get in touch with my doctors office. My doctors office is always on top of things and confirmed that they have sent the prescription over numerous times only to keep being told that it had not been received by Center Well. Then to contradict themselves, Center Well told me that they did receive my prescription, but it has no refills on it! Every excuse but no delivery I definitely will just stick to my current pharmacy and pay the extra to get the medication I need.
Order shipped but USPS hasn't received it yet....
I have an order that was processed on 1/28/26 and according to them, shipped on 1/30/26. Well, it's now 2/5/26 and no delivery. I checked the tracking with USPS and it says that they are still waiting to receive the package. Centerwell's website is a joke. First, it says to click on the "Get Help" button on the first site you log into. Well, call me crazy but there is such button. So I click on the "Let's Chat" button, get an automated "agent" and when I enter my question, it responds with something to the effect that it "needs to send me to a representative but none are available. Please contact us during business hours." Well, it is business hours. I'm done with them and this is my first order! Doubtful that I'll receive my meds before I run out.
Would give 0 stars if possible
Would give 0 stars if possible. Hours of wait time to call via phone (not to mention confusion over which of the many poorly described numbers to call). Chat support link is broken and redirects to the same page.
Wait time for a perscription refill was over 2 weeks. Given they are the only perscription refill service I am able to use with a particular provider, that means I'm stuck without medicine.
This is by far the absolute slowest…
This is by far the absolute slowest pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Then when you do call them the lie to you about when your prescription was filled and mailed out. Will never use them again
Three Cheers for Center Well
I have tried other mail order pharmacies and none of them are as good as Center Well. My experience has been wonderful. I have been able to get a human voice on the phone quickly. Center Well followed up with my doctor when one of my scripts did not get called in. Their prices are off the chain! So, cheap this elderly person can afford their meds. Thank you for that! And switching to them from previous box store pharmacy was very easy, I switched during the sign up period. And the phone operators at Center Well were very knowledgeable and were able to resolve issues quickly ad correctly. I can't say that about other mail order pharmacies I have tried in the past. Thank you Center Well, I appreciate you.
Multiple Hours on Hold
Trying to get a Rx filled. Its been 2 weeks. CC charged 10 days ago. Nothing has shipped. No way to get information other than calling. Multiple multiple hours on hold being transferred. CC charged back.
JUST DON'T
Terrible, terrible place. If you do not want to run out of your medications DO NOT USE CENTERWELL. Horrible customer service with extremely long, long phone wait times to try to even fix THEIR mistakes to your medications. THEY DO NOT CARE.
