Loved the school. I was not a fan of using tools such as TestOut, I felt that the program was used in lieu of being taught the subject matter. I started out in the Networking curriculum and soon began... See more

I really enjoyed my time at California…
I really enjoyed my time at California College. I only have a few issues. The computers given to us were cheap and had many issues with limited memory. Some programs we needed for some classes would not run on them due to memory issues. Along with that Having programs like Microsoft Office and Quickbooks that were just installed on our laptops and with the amount of issues that came with it, it would have been better to just issue each student their own copies. 75% of my Computerized Accounting class was just trying to get QuickBooks working on my laptop due to licensing issues. With those issues and as much as we spend to attend better laptops and individual issued programs for them would really help is getting the work done. Along with that better tutoring options for Business students would be nice to have. For 2 years I begged for tutoring and was told they just don't have any available.

In my experience so far
In my experience so far, I am only about half way through my degree, I have not had many complaints. The only complaints that I have had were about some classes not being ready for students that were mandatory to take whether they were ready or not. This has happened to me 3 times so far. I have brought it to people's attention but am unclear on if it has been rectified. Other than that ALL my other classes have been wonderful and the teacher are there to help you, not talk down to you. Over all I believe this is a great school, but no one is perfect.

Everyone encourages communication, and the staff is readily accessible. I’m doing very well so far and looking forward to finishing my Bachelors degree here.

I had fun studying at California…
I had fun studying at California College of San Diego. It was difficult for me at first because English is not my mother tongue. However, I am delighted with all my teacher's guidance and support while at school. Now, I am proud of myself having my Bachelor's Degree from CCSD, because I got my expected grades above all the hardships.
Although I am not going to be part of the school anymore after my graduation, I will still look back the times I spent with my classmates, teachers, and school staffs.
Thank you CCSD for enhancing my knowledge and skills towards my future career. You are a part of my success, wherever I am and whatever I do. God Bless CCSD and God Bless America. Until then, see you in the future. I am back home in Japan right now, and I will assure that you will be proud of me having my work here and practice all that I have learned. Sayonara.
P.S.
Best regards to my best teachers, Ms. Chapman, Mr. Dang, Mr. Scavone, Mr. Underwood, Mr. Brandon, Ms. Towne, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Pat, Mr. Rivera, Mr. B (accounting teacher), and others.

My Online experience
I have had only good experiences since attending this college. The teachers are always there to help as well as the counselors who make sure that your on the right path and guiding you when you are feeling overwhelmed or feel you are not excelling in your courses. I am 7 months into my degree and i love the courses, the online experience. Just wish it were easier to get a hold of an IT person when needed.

CCSD is one of three places to get your RT education in San Diego. I’m stuck here because I have no educational options. No communication from staff, teachers that don’t know how to teach, tutors that are there for a paycheck, and an imposed attendance as if this was public school and I’m getting a handout. Somehow you all forget that I’m paying YOU to be here, whether or not I choose to be here is my choice. I’m getting A’s and B’s, but it’s by no help of the staff.

It began with them not going thorough with what was suppose to happen what classes I was to take where the classes were, just rushing me to enroll , then they lost my paper work personal information enrollment documents it was ok the first time I can understand it happens but three times no unacceptable, than they fail to tell me that I am to take some on line classes, no that would affect my pay, Oh! yeah.. sorry about that .. lets send you to another college location where you can continue, really? Enough! call the dean ..left message, no call back .. called again.. no call back. The school charges me for books I can't keep? what the? Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this school...
