Lisa Hazell originally established Cavendish (D&C) Cleaning in January 2017 and due to the growth of the business changed the company name to Cavendish Cleaning Ltd in May 2019. The company was formed as there was a need for a cleaning business that provides a good, quality, and affordable service that Customers can rely on 100% of the time. I’ve been a customer of cavendish cleaning for a year now. And I can’t recommend them highly enough.
My regular cleaner Anna is an absolute godsend. I honestly dont know what I’d do without her. The house is left spotless, everything is gleaming and the little touches such as folding my towels like it’s a hotel, I just love.
She’s great with my dogs, they adore her, and just sorts out the house to the highest standard.
Lisa who manages the office is super helpful and always happy to resolve any resource issue or booked holiday.
Great company.

A pleasing experience
Cavendish cleaning have given me & my husband an excellent service. Jessica and, more recently Deborah have both been a pleasure to have in our home, and have done the work efficiently and cheerfully. Working for this company has been one of the best work experiences. They're friendly and really understanding with personal problems. On several occasions I've had to cancel due to my child's health and they've been nothing but helpful and kind. Would recommend 100% them as a cleaning service but also as a job .

They always make sure I’m topped up on cleaning products to ensure I have everything I need for the jobs I do. They’re also helpful with me getting to and from work and have gone out there way for me working hours around myself not them. Would 100% recommend this company.

I booked a 2 hour clean with Cavendish
I booked a 2 hour clean with Cavendish. What I got was a 1hour clean that they are going to invoice me for the 2. The cleaners didn't clean all the rooms either. I rang Carl to question this, all I got was attitude from him. He didn't care that I was upset over this. I said I wanted to cancel my contract and he couldn't care less.
SHOCKING SERVICE I DON'T RECOMEND THIS COMPANY. Reply to this review was a long winded email to make me look stupid but sorry i am im the right, at the end of the email you put all im paying for is the 2 hours cleaning provided which was only 1 hour as id informed 11am till 12pm =1 hour!

Thank you for your review, although we feel that it is not fair and very unjustified. Looking at your review that you have left for another cleaning company, I see that perhaps a distrust has been placed towards cleaning companies in general , but can assure you, we are not how you perceive us to be. From your original enquiry when you signed all the documentation you were happy to use our service, although we said that we do not have availability until 19th July. On the 8th July we sent you an email "Looking at the information we have a 2-hour slot every other Tuesday available from Tuesday 19th July (times to be confirmed next week). Would this be suitable?", in which you replied "Sorry but i wanted someone to start from next week but thankyou for replying to my enquiry". We then confirmed in email "Thank you for this. I will cancel this with immediate effect". On the 11th July you contacted us asking for another slot again, to which we accommodated "Hi Rachel, Thank you for your email. I can provisionally book in Tuesday 19th July and send you a confirmation email this Friday (15th July) to confirm exact time, if that suits?". Again you replied "Yes that would be perfect thankyou". We then sent you a schedule with the dates, time and name of the 2 staff booked in for today's (19/07) slot. You then emailed "Good evening. When i enquired about your cleaning service i said i wanted a 2 hour clean every fortnight, but the email i received today said 4 cleaners will be attending for a 1 hour clean. Sorry but it wont take 4 people to clean my small bungalow and my 2 cats will turn inside out with so many people here. I wanted 2 people to do a 2 hour clean as requested, if this isnt possible then i will have to say no again .please let me know a.s.a p please" in which we replied "Hi Rachel, Thank you for your email. We have booked in a 2-hour slot on Tuesday made up of 2 x 1 hour’s slots with 2 members of staff (DE and AG). Am I right in presuming you would like to book in a 4-hour slot (2 staff for 2 hours) or just the 2 hours, as scheduled? Please confirm. Best wishes, Lisa". Your reply was "No sorry it was my confusion/mistake, yes a 2 x1 hour cleans 2 cleaners please." This was all booked in and the cleaning took place today. The next correspondence received from you was in an email received today "Good afternoon. I hope i dont get an invoice at the end of the month for 2 hours as they started cleaning at 11am anf finished by 12.00pm, i was booked in for a 2 hour clean". Our reply to you was "Hi Rachel, You will be invoiced for 2 hours total as you had 2 staff for 1 hour each, which equals 2 hours total. If they had 2 staff for 2 hours, you would have been invoiced for 4 hours total." You then called the office and spoke to Carl, who quiet rightly explained what you had booked in. Although this has been explained you were not happy and wanted to cancel the service. Carl cancelled the contract free of charge and waivered the month's notice, so you will only be paying for the 2 hours of cleaning that had provided.

Very happy with the service
Cavendish Cleaning have been cleaning our house for three years and we are very happy with the service. All the ladies who have been here have been excellent and our current cleaner, Sarah, is very efficient and friendly. Sarah even cleaned inside our (rather crusty!) oven when she had finished the regular cleaning a little earlier than usual. What a star! Admin by Lisa is always very professional and friendly too. Would recommend them.
