Sold us an absolute pile of crap. We contacted caterquip about a secondhand Winterhalter dishwasher they were advertising for sale. They persuaded us to go for a Hobart one which was a bit cheaper but much newer. The machine has been nothing but a problem since day 1. The turned up with a broken drain valve and they tried to argue wasn't their responsibility to repair (despite being DoA). Subsequent break downs in the 12 month warranty period they did look it. After 12 months a part failed again and they stated that the machine was now outside of warranty. Was repaired by another firm until after less than 24 months since it arrived the main PCB has now also failed, together with other parts.
It's unclear if this is a badly manufactured machine, bad luck, or if it was not looked after by the first owners. But we have learnt our lesson. A second hand machine with a limited 12 month warranty you pay twice - once to buy and once to replace after 24 months.
