A special thank you to Becky, whose customer service was outstanding from start to finish. She was proactive in sorting out the problem, kept me fully informed at every stage, and made the whole process feel effortless.
It’s often said that you can really judge a company by how they respond when something goes wrong, and this was a perfect example. The issue itself quickly became a non-event because of how well it was dealt with. I felt assured, well looked after, and genuinely valued as a customer.
Thanks to this experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Castle Fine Art again.

I had seen a picture on CFA's website that interested me. Since my wife and I would soon be traveling to the UK, I asked by email whether the picture could be viewed somewhere. Ashleigh Wright from CFA offered to organize a presentation in a gallery close to our travel route! The presentation was a complete success. The picture hung in a darkened room and was covered by a screen that slowly rose. Ashleigh explained details about the picture and the artist very competently. Since the picture was offered at a very fair price and CFA would take care of shipping etc., the decision to purchase was very easy. Afterwards, Ashleigh showed us around the gallery and together with her colleagues she presented us a few other interesting works. It's a shame that CFA isn't represented in Germany; it certainly wouldn't be the last purchase.

I regret to say my experience with Castle Fine Art at the Birmingham Mailbox has been extremely disappointing.
After much consideration, I purchased a piece of artwork, a significant financial commitment for me. I was later told that the artwork actually belonged to someone who worked at the gallery and, because they no longer had space for it, it had been sold to me.
A week after my purchase, I received a phone call from the gallery telling me that this person had changed their mind, no longer wished to sell, and was taking back the artwork that I had already paid for. In other words, after committing my money, the piece I believed I owned was removed from me.
What makes this worse is that I am still considerably out of pocket. Despite promises of a refund, I have not been reimbursed. For a gallery of this reputation, I find it shocking that a customer can be left in this position, having paid a large sum of money and been left without either the artwork or the refund.
This experience has completely undermined my trust in Castle Fine Art and I cannot recommend them based on how my purchase was handled.

Still no refund and no artwork. At this point, all I have is a paid receipt — fortunately, enough to raise a chargeback claim with my card issuer. I’m honestly gobsmacked. The only explanation I can see for the way I’ve been treated is that someone was trying to make a little extra commission. To me, it shows greed, a lack of integrity, and the sort of behaviour I want no part of going forward. Rachel I do not want anyone reaching out to me, I have heard all the excuses from someone dying to, it belonging to someone else. I just want my money back please. And to anyone reading this. Do not trust these guys.

I am absolutely blown away by the service I received at Castle Fine Art in Milton Keynes.
I had been toying with the idea of buying a piece by Gary James McQueen (as a big admirer of his uncle’s fashion design) and visited the Milton Keynes branch with my partner and baby to see the work in person. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Peter. The piece I had in mind wasn’t on display, but Peter literally ran down flights of stairs to fetch it so we could view it properly and make a decision.
At first, I held off as I wasn’t sure how the artwork would look in our home. Then, almost serendipitously, Peter called to check in and see if I had any more thoughts or questions. I explained that my main concern was how the artwork would fit into our space, and with an 11-month-old baby, handling returns would be very inconvenient. Without hesitation, Peter kindly offered to bring both pieces to our home that very same day. Within a couple of hours, he was there helping us view the artworks in situ and even offering advice on the best placement to showcase them.
We initially chose the Midas Ivory, but by the next morning, we realised we couldn’t resist the teal piece too. Within just two days, Peter and his team had everything arranged—amending the payment and delivering the second artwork.
We are over the moon with both pieces and so grateful that we walked into this branch and met Peter. His knowledge, professionalism, and above-and-beyond customer care are truly gold standard. I cannot recommend Castle Fine Art Milton Keynes highly enough—you will not regret visiting.
We are absolutely in love with both artworks!

After initially not looking for anything to add to our collection, we were tempted with a Billy Connolly sculpture and a framed print! After a great conversation we entrusted the process with Hana who has been fantastic in keeping us updated in the delivery process.
