Bought a casten & co Titanium hammered pan 28cm and lid, over £100.

What a joke! It’s not a family run thing at all-locally in Uk rating 4.7/5.0 on their advert!!!

Pan arrives with cheap carriage, in a small box, in 60 years I have never had to assemble a pan!!!

That’s right, you get to screw the handle on and lid handle!!!!!! Over £100!!

Complete scam Chinese company presenting themselves as a small family owned business. They shipped me 2 pans the same size extremely poor quality. They were supposed to ship 2 pans and a wok. Do not buy from this company you will regret it. Total waist of money.

The frying pan I was sold sticks like you know what to a blanket. Fake.

What ever this company pretend to be,they definitely are not legitimate.
They are no more than an onseller of a Chinese product that can be purchased on AliExpress for around 50% of Casten & co's price.
The 100% pure titanium is ambiguous, it gives the impression of the whole pan which is in fact a multi layer construction with the inner layer "ONLY" being titanium that is not hammered but a stamped pattern.
For your own sake stay away from this Company.

The pan is not non-stick! Everything sticks, even when frying in oil. Also, look at the return policy before you buy, because, you will not like the pan and when you try to return it, it will cost you mailing costs to China, plus a 20$ 'refund' fee. All of this could be forgiven if the pan did what was advertised, but it doesn't.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Do not buy! Fake website, fake company, shady practices, AI generated everything, sell you a BS story of a hand-made high-quality-made-in-America-going out of business after 40 years family company - LIES!!! Do not fall for it! DO NOT BUY! China garbage!

Worst company! I am disgusted with Caston & Co. They advertise that cancellations are possible before shipment. I have been trying to cancel since 15 mins after placing my order. They have taken no action to confirm my cancellation or issue me a refund. Fake company !

I purchased the "titanium" cutting board however when it arrived clearly it is a thin cheap piece of stainless steel at best.
Overpriced at $75. Better options elsewhere. I feel ripped off.
Shipping took forever, and was vaguely communicated by the company - and there are so many reviews I found everywhere posted online after purchasing there seems to be a great deal of fraudulant issues here.
The company states it is closing after decades in business but there is little evidence of this fact.
Stay away is my best advice.

Absolutely false advertising and major scam. Items arrive in pieces and back of pan has Chinese characters. The brand is completely fake, and ships out Temu-like items from China. Terrible quality, I am sure its not actual titanium. The cutting board arrived damaged with dings and scratches. They did not even honor or facilitate a return and stopped responding to emails. Do not do business with these scammers.

Also scammed… I can believe I fell for it as they make it look very realistic and show beautiful pans on their website. Terrible. I am scared to use this pan and won’t touch the cutlery with a ten foot poll. This is why people continue to use Amazon !

Oh dear, not what we expected, is it titanium steel, don't know! I'd hazard a guess and say no. Product certainly hasn't originated from a family run business. Disappointed and scammed.

Complete scam. The pans are awful. They’re not non-stick and their return policy is a joke. DONT BUY, it’s a FB scam.

Not as described

I feel absolutely sick about having been scammed like this! The cookware is of poor quality, lacks manuals, contains no information about material (Titanium how should I know?!) or origin, and bears no trace of the Casten & Co. brand, not even on the boxes! I have serious concerns that using this cookware might even be dangerous for my health!
This company has fabricated its whole existence and the closing announcement. Even the pictures on the site are created by AI. It's clearly a scam!

I can’t believe I fell for this. Came in a flimsy box with chinese writing on the pan. Does not march description. Clearly not the quality portrayed or nice family history. Fake!

Company has fabricated its whole existence.

Fake website that uses real names of chefs but with reviews that have never existed, website is less than a month old to this date and yet they have been around for '40 years'

AI images all over the website

No talk or any external reviews or even mention of this brand that has again been around for '40 years'

Literally use an ai image that does not look like the real chef with a review attached that is simply just doctored

very confident that if you read the other reviews here that are positive you'll notice how it doesn't add up

Pretty sure this is just a scam

40 years in the business and only 6 reviews or so and all of those from this year, people from instagram ads beware…I smell an old fish
