Why the apps can't load recently as I still have some credit in my account? No any messages from the company being given what is going on?

SCAM

Avoit at all costs. Similar to others, I was pretty much forced into making an account by representatives on the street, I should have known better and not given my details and I would not have but they promised me no money would leave my account until I activated it.

Never activated, couldn't even access the account, tried calling but no answer each time. Honestly do not pay attention to the 5 star reviews because they are bs and the reviewers are probably the scammers.

Forceful Sales Reps

Was forced into downloading the app, the representative even took my phone off of me without permission. I told them I had a train to catch so they essentially cornered me and said "Great because this won't take two minutes!"

...fifteen minutes later, after my train had left I was set free. I don't know if it was the way they took my card out of my hand to enter details without asking, or the way they took my phone without permission, but this whole thing screamed scammy. Avoid at all costs!

Scam - Dishonest Representatives - Do not download this app.

Extremely unhappy with the sales representatives. They pressured me into getting the app and subscribing me to something called go plus subscription without even giving me detail on what this is. The woman who signed me up assured me that I wouldn't continuously get charged and it would be some sort of one off fee. She constantly took my phone off me to do this without even asking me. I deleted the app later that day as it was hardly as good as it was made out to be and I didn't feel like it would be a benefit to me personally. Earlier today I was going through my bank statement to find out that I have been charged on multiple occasions by this company (despite being told that I wouldn't be). I was charged £3.99 in March, April, May, June and July for a service that I haven't been using. I decided to call my bank to discuss this as I wasn't able to actually contact the company at that time and they canceled CashbackAPP from taking further transactions from my account. I finally spoke with someone from Cashback over the phone and I was informed that I was not able to get a refund on these transactions, despite the fact that I had never used their service, despite the fact that I was assured that I wouldn't be charged after asking multiple times, despite the fact that the representative constantly took my phone in some sort of desperate attempt to get me signed up for this without even being aware of it. The worst part about all of this is the fact that I'm not the only person this has happened to. Multiple reviews on the google play store are negative detailing similar experiences to me where they have not been made aware of what exactly would be happening and being pressured into downloading the app. Some of the people have been charged for up to 8 months without knowing. The fact that this company uses some sort of method to legally take money from peoples accounts is disgusting. The only response CashbackAPP have gave to these reviews is some copy and paste crap that looks like something that would be automatically sent off against every low rating review. They haven't even addressed the fact that this has happened to multiple users. I believe this company really needs a review of their practices when trying to make their app appeal to the customer because being dishonest, giving a lack of information, and taking the customers phones to sign them up for some sort of subscription is ridiculous. When on the call with customer support at the CashbackAPP I was told that it was my fault due to me using some sort of 'activation code' that was sent to my phone. I wasn't even aware what this was even for because the representative was doing it for me without even telling me what it does. I would of been happy just taking a look at the app for myself and deciding to give it a go and if I liked it, then I might consider signing up for some subscription. Another thing, I personally never have an auto-renew function enabled with any of the transactions I make which points more evidence to the fact that I wasn't made aware of this. If I knew back in march that this company was taking money from me I would of called them up and got it cancelled there and then and went on with my day. The fact that this has been happening for months and they don't even seem to care about it when its happening to multiple customers is literally the worst experience with a company I have ever had/seen. I really hope some sort of law suit happens against this company to get every single person they have pretty much scammed out of money for months.

EDIT:
They refunded me 2 months of the money they took from me when I sent them this, I'm still not really satisfied since they still kept 3 months of payments they took from me but whatever. Clearly shows where this companies morals are at.

the guys who stopped me in the street…

the guys who stopped me in the street to sell me this totally lead me down the garden path. I will not be continuing with the GO Plus thing. I told them I didn't go to any of the restaurants they were rhyming off and they asked me where I did go, when I told them a couple of places they still said something like " perfect, do you want 50% off there?" well, of course I do, but I later found out the places I go to ARE NOT ON IT?!? Why lie...

great for saving money on everyday stuff

i would recommend this website and app to anyone who spends money on clothing, food, restaurants or holidays. Recently upgraded for the restaurant offers too, so many discounts and some of them i already visited frequently but just didn't know i could get a discount.

3 Years of Free Cashback

I’ve used cashbackAPP for nearly 3 years and earned lots free cash from local, national and online purchases. The growing list of merchants can only mean more cashback in the future.
The app is fairly easy to navigate and use, but with room for improvement.
I recommend anyone downloading the app to watch the video that is in the guide tab.
In simple terms I’ve been given money for buying things I would have bought anyway.

Been using this awhile with my daily shop and the cashback has really started to build. It’s easy to use! I opted for the paid version for the restaurant discounts too which has also been saving me money.

CashbackApp is Amazing!

I have been using the app for a few months and already have £94 cashback saved - £94 I wouldn't otherwise have had :) So easy to use both online and in store. This is an absolute no-brainer - everyone will benefit from using this app!

This cannot be legal...

Signed up to this after a guy working for this app stopped me in the street and essentially signed up on my behalf (took my phone from me and done it himself - even adding on goPlus!). He did make it sound good but looking at the app, the deals rarely offer more than a 5% discount unlike what he was describing. Money should also go directly back to the app after use in certain places. It doesnt! I haven't earned a single penny back since sign up and frequently use a few places that offer 3% back. The guy sold it so well too with his lies, it's fraudulent representation and the contract shouldn't be legally binding as these lies were the reason for allowing him to sign me up!

Con Artists

Looking at other reviews it seems I'm saying nothing new. One of their sales people signed me up on the street, told me there would be nothing but a £1 signup fee (even the fee was a lie), they then go on to take money out of my account on a monthly basis. I get told by a snotty consultant on the phone I should have read the t&c's I never got shown. Disgusting, will be escalating this to the FCA.

thieving con artists :)

Despite asking them to close my account on 30/01 (and receiving a reply so my request had obviously been acknowledged), money was stolen from my account on 01/03 and 29/03 - when signing up i wasn't informed of any charges or subscriptions. Disgusting.

Avoid at all Costs

It's a con. They don't tell you that they'll add a monthly subscription, make you email them to cancel your account and even then don't seem to grasp that helping themselves to money is going to annoy people.
