Cash for Essays was a great website that inspired me to search through my old storage archives to dig up school papers. The website currently says they're on hiatus and I don't know how long that will be, but I hope they return soon.

I have had a couple of essays accepted by Cash4Essays, and although there is quite a waiting period for getting paid, everything else went very smoothly. I plan to write more in the future. Essays are fun to write, and even better when you get paid for completing them! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make some extra money for doing something you already enjoy.

Once an account is disabled, the rights to the essays that are submitted through it return to the account holder, and we do not use them in any capacity. All my essays were rejected although they met the requirements
I uploaded 4 science essays that I wrote 2 years ago. After rechecking the requirements, I confirm that my essays met all of them. Yet, 3 of them were rejected instantaneously while the last one was refused later in the day. I don't mind having my essays refused, what annoys me is the lack of information on why they were rejected.
I know that it's a small company that can't read all the applications, but it would be nice to know a more specific reason for the rejections. How else could we improve them?
However, I find the idea behind the site very good, which is why I'll give it 2 stars...

While we don't automatically tell each submitter why we've rejected an upload (sometimes people get dozens of rejections in the same day!) we are always willing to take a look at individual submissions to see what the issue is. Sometimes a tweak here or there by the submitter can turn a rejected essay into an accepted one and we're happy to answer any questions about that directed to our email: contact@cash4eassys.com.
Not for people outside US
I was happy when they sent me an email informing me that they have already bought my essays. HOWEVER, aside from waiting for almost a year for my essays to be paid, if you are outside the United States, there is a tax form you need to fill-up before you can actually cash out thru Paypal. I already did fill-in the necessary form, and I sent this to their email but they still have no reply. I'm beginning to think that this site is a scam and I don't know how I'll be able to retrieve my essays if they don't intend to pay me, or at the very least, respond to my email. Disappointing.

A great way to earn a little extra cash for all your hard work! The only thing is that when I put in my paypal link to receive a confirmation email it never sent me one... now, I’m not sure how I’m going to receive my money.

Huge scam. They approved several of my essays months ago and never paid me. I contacted them asking what was up & they basically said they “don’t know” when they’ll get the funds to pay me.
