Nata nel 1975, Cascina Sòt è un’azienda agricola di Monforte d’Alba dedita alla produzione di grandi vini piemontesi. Dopo aver lavorato per anni come mezzadri in azienda, Maria e Giuseppe ne acquistarono la proprietà. Con l’avvento del figlio Leonardo e di sua moglie Silvana l’attività vitivinicola divenne il principale impegno aziendale. Oggi l’impresa coltiva i propri vigneti, alcuni dei quali situati tra i più prestigiosi cru di Barolo. Dedicando alle piante di vite le migliori cure, si raccolgono uve pregiate e schiette, che in fase di vinificazione vengono lavorate per far esaltare al massimo le caratteristiche intrinseche di ogni vitigno. Con l’invecchiamento, infine, i vini di Cascina Sòt si impreziosiscono ulteriormente, acquisendo preziosi sentori terziari. Nascono così, da una piccola cantina, etichette cesellate nei minimi dettagli, prodotte con la massima attenzione rivolta a ogni singolo passaggio lavorativo, molto espressive e capaci di esaltare il varietale e il terroir di provenienza.
