So simple and efficient. Had a quote of what I’d receive for my car, accepted it. The recovery phoned to arrange pick up, they came exactly when they sai. Lovely helpful and friendly man. Received my money the day Cartakeback had my received my car.

Was donating the car to charity that I thought would auction it . However collections man smashed the front windscreen in and crunched the sides in lifting it. Took a great car and ruined it but no doubt will still make a lot of money from parts. Very sad to see your car being smashed up and also loss of significant donation to my chosen charity.

I was able to scrap my Hyundai i10 🚗 with absolutely no fuss. The guy who came to pick it up was friendly, polite and efficient. The money was in my bank within 24hours.

So arranged for a car to be collected I waited in all day lost a days wages because they didn’t come! Then ring the next day at 7-30 in the morning saying they’re 10 mins away I said sorry I’m busy!

After a previous company guaranteed a rate and then said there was a glitch and id never get that amount for scrap I applied with this company. From.start to finish it was 48 hours and seamless. Money was in my account 2 hours after pickup and the full amount! Definitely recommend

Very happy with CARTAKEBACK. Got the offer online and I called them up and accepted the offer and they booked me in the next day. My van was taken the next day and I was paid the following day. Very good company

This company... I arranged a pick up a few days in advance, and the driver didn't show up. I called them and emailed them to find out why and figure out next steps, but when I called, the agent said nobody could talk to me and someone would call me back. Nobody did, and a full week later, I got another company to come and get the car. Wouldn't you know that takebackmycar just issues me a certificate of destruction. What?! Will call DVLA tomorrow to make sure everything is good, but wtaf is up with this company? Here's my thought. They seem to have good reviews, but I'm up in Scotland, so I'm thinking maybe they don't have the same network north of the border. Either way, despite a good start, I cannot recommend them. They not only dropped the ball, but even after I emailed and called, they didn't pick it back up and now they've issued me a certificate of destruction for a car they didn't collect, and I'm nervous. Wish I had just used a local business from the start. Next time I will.
