Good program lousy approach
I like the program in the since you only pay so much a month and are covered forever. No mileage limits. But the salespersons are extremely pushy and the price starts at $170 and winds up at $79. I feel like it’s your way into pressure people and get the most money you can. Just set a reasonable price and let the person see the value of the program.

I've had a bad experience wit car shield my claim was denied on my 2015 Colorado pickup supposedly because of pre-existing condition I've driven my vehicle 13 months between 3000 to 4,000 MI prior to purchasing car shield contract and 2/2026 before my extended warranty expired I had my vehicle inspected front,
bottom to back by the Chevy dealership all was good prior to 3/22/2026 when I purchase the contract with the car shield 8/16/2026 I brought my vehicle in to the Chevy dealership for a engine power reduce car shield denied the claim say'n pre-existing condition not so and refused repair. After paying for car shield for the…
After paying for car shield for the better part of a year I tried to file my first claim. However after a little back and forth about not having it approved first (it was an emergency and this was my first claim) they agreed to process it only to again refuse because the receipt wasn't in the correct format. I paid with a credit card and attached the receipt and invoice. But because the receipt was paid with a credit card it never "zero'd out". After confirming that I couldn't get a different version of the receipt they refused to move forward with processing it. Despite confirming they could see that it was paid and the total amount. Long story they were a big waste of money for me.

Supposedly I have the Diamond coverage and there is nothing Diamond about it. All I have received was the run around..$250 deductible cost me $620 all while Car Shield only paid $170. Nothing they advertised for was actualize. I feel deceived. $150 a month for 2 cars and I still had to pay $620 out pocket. Your Contract #: MRF5733336

I walked through the cost with 3 customer service persons, 1 conceige, and a supervisor. Each one of them saw the disproportionate price of repairs and COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE DEDUCTIBLE, Along with the additional cost. The only thing they could say was car shield paid there part and the contract states customers may be responsible for additional costs. I ask the same question if Car Shield claims it paid for the labor and I paid for the parts. What is the deductible for?
