Car Shades Reviews 

Car shades don’t fit and wrong fixtures supplied for the shades. They refused to arrange a return at their cost despite it being their issue. I had to pursue other methods to get a refund. Do not buy!

Poor customer service when I wasn't happy with the fit of their product. The shades didn't line up correctly for my vehicle and the fixings were of low quality and didn't quite fit. Refused to arrange collection and required me to return at my own expense for a refund.

Originally purchased the shades for my car in 2023 and have since moved them in to my new car (same model shape), with no issues.
They are such a great design that I recommended them to my mum as she has my daughter regularly, they didnt have her car model/year available, but they run a development program for cars not listed, so they had my mums car in to make a Master set, she was then given a free full set of rear shades for her car, not only that, but she was also given a full set for a car they already have listed. meaning my dad also got a free set.
we are now arranging for my other halves new car to go in so they can develop a set for that car too!

Great experience all round!!

Arrived quickly and well packaged.
Blinds exactly as described.
Took longer than the 10 minutes stated
to fit but pleased with the finished look.
Would buy again in the future if I bought a different car.

I ordered rear window car shades for a BMW X3 (65 reg). Upon receipt, the shades fitted the shape of the windows. However I was unable to use the window clips provided to secure them in place as the car shades did not sit flush on the windows. This was because the shades do not take into account the raised part of the rear passenger windows in a BMW X3. I was unable to physically clip the car shades to the clip because of this.
I did receive a refund when I returned the shades (after sending follow up emails). But I was advised that I would not receive a refund for the £13 postage I paid as the car shades were not faulty ...

Good quality material and well made, I ordered my carshades here in Ireland through Carshades.de Germany for a hyundai tucson 2023 (left a review there too also)
I have had them before on previous cars and in fairness their a great product, fitting was easy enough, a bit fiddly with the new clips + the back window ones were a bit tight but if you take your time and read the manual + videos, you'll be fine!!💯👏

There do a great job i think u should do discount for returning customers i had 3 sets now

Purchased a set of shades in April of this year. they were great and worked perfectly until the start of June. Both rear window shades have warped out of shape and will now not fit into the window.
I've emailed 4 times now to ask for advice and/or a replacement, but not even received an acknowledgement of my email.

I would just like a response!

Quick delivery and good product, HOWEVER... instructions for installation are terrible. I had to consult YouTube to work out how the shades are ACTUALLY installed and even the company's own videos were a bit vague. Luckily found a video by someone who had purchased the same shades. Had already emailed CarShades UK for help but no response after 5 days. If it hadn't been for the YouTube video, I'd be returning the product for a refund. Sort out the installation instructions and customer service and you've got an excellent product.

I had a really disappointing experience with CarShades. After returning my shades, they repeatedly claimed they had issued a refund – which turned out to be completely false. Eventually, they admitted there was an error and the refund had never been processed.

Since then, I’ve chased them multiple times with no response. They've ignored my emails and messages entirely, and I’m still out of pocket. It’s incredibly unprofessional and dishonest. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company – customer service is non-existent once they have your money.

Bought a full set of shades for my Ariya so I could leave the rear windows open for the dog in the summer, after a bit of fiddling with the fixing clips they went in perfectly! Been in now for a couple of months and haven't moved a millimetre even when we drive with the windows fully open couldn't be happier with these shades, highly recommend!!

I brought a full set for my car, rear passenger windows rear window and small pillar windows covers.
Overall the product works, however the rear passenger windows didn’t fully fit my window correctly abit of force was needs to fit.
Although the blinds was “design” for my car they didn’t fit and was just too big.
Once I managed to fit them, I found I had accidentally bend the bottom of the frame, that caused them to fall out and now not stand in position to do its job,
I contact customer service, after a short back and forth, and I provided evidence that they didn’t fit and the small bend in the frame, I asked if they had sent the correct passenger windows and that is when contact stopped I got no replies. I sent a few more just incase the email had gotten lost as I understand it can happen, 4 emails later still being ignored. I sent one last email asking if I was being ignored and still no replied.

I later on managed to make the blinds fit correctly with him work around I did myself.

My only advise is to be careful once your blinds arrive just be careful on fitting, as mine didn’t fit correctly as shown on their adverts,

Fast delivery, good product.

I brought these recently for my Audi Q3. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit my windows so the clips don’t keep them in the window however where the bottom clips are supposed to be they have scratched my back windows with the metal clips so now I have more damage then I started with.

The product arrived quickly and I think it is quite unique for an aftermarket product in that it fits the rear windows perfectly - no gaps. It also stays in place with the windows down. Getting privacy glass would have meant buying a higher trim of car which in my case would have cost an extra £3 -£4k. Instead I’ve spend under £100 on this solution (and similar on som other solutions like heated seats) which is arguably better than something that’s fixed can’t be removed when you want.
Really excellent solution.

Great product and a good price but what is not shown is how good the quality is. I've had mine for approx 2 years and still looking new and working well.

I wish the did a windscreen Sun umbrella to compliment the vehicle (for hot days when parked up and also good for frost.

I debated buying it for a few days to see if it would really be that good. Today I installed it in my car and I'm truly pleasantly surprised. I recommend this product to everyone; it's well-made and, as described, very easy to install.

Excellent delivery service..fits perfect rear passenger windows of my Yaris Cross,
Didn’t give 5* as fitting instructions need to be improved with better close up pictures & written instructions.
But overall very satisfied

Quick delivery, looks really smart and easy to fit. Only gripe would be the instructions included aren't the clearest. Good for placement of clips onto the shades, but for fitting the other clips to the car use the video instead!
