The page carrefour.ke is a mess to use
The page carrefour.ke is a mess to use. All components are present but who ever threw in the code for it to be usable must have written it with their heads under their arms. First registration is a mess. One tries ones earlier registration. Now it says that the number is already registered but it does not opt to give an Otp for reregistering. One tries to get their support. Nothing happens. The website is so slow so that one waits until the browser times out. Then the browser and server loose connectivity and you start afresh. Well. You search for a goods which is being sold by the good Carrefour. I spell it accurately but do you think the page will show it to you - after 2 minutes of waiting? No no no no. It tells you that the product does not exist. While searching for ie sugar it shows you sugar - 450 hits - but those are not sugar. It is maybe 1 of 15 of the things being sugar the rest is all sorts of gibbedigook.
I wanted transport of the goods. I was, at 8.30 - aiming for the 11am - 1pm slot. The process took more than 1 hour and 15 minutes due to enormous and continuous complications with popups from Carrefour, slow slow slow slow slow slow response. Errors in lookup. Mistakes in the search, ..
So...
The timeslot was now gone. Next available time slot would be 1pm to 3 pm.
If this $"&:-(-&_"#@_:-;+ site wants to have any chance what so ever of being visited, at all, more than the initial 3 times I visited it today, they need to shape up, simplify, and get someone to make their website who understands how to make them work.
None of us need all these push notifications. As if we are kids who need to be told what to buy, when that $&&+::_-((;-&__ website cannot even find out to do the even simplest of all things, selling their goods.
We need, plain simple, that the page works, and that the page on a simple note just enables us to shop, pay, and get the goods delivered.
Instead it has so many features which are mutually stepping on top of each other, so that one cannot use the page.
Make no mistakes. Carrefour is an even very well assorted shop trading mostly quality products. It is well organized and well managed.
This website is such a disappointment as it simply cannot have been tested properly by any competent UI/UX professional.
Fix it!
