I am selling my house and needed to get the majority of the rooms fitted with carpet. I initially visited their showroom at the end of November, where Tom and Ali were excellent in advising me what carpet to choose. Derek, the owner, came to my house a few days later to measure up and brought some samples to decide exactly what colour to go for. A couple of days later the very reasonable quote was emailed and after paying the initial deposit, two dates were agreed to make it easier to move furniture around. The whole process from walking into their showroom to having the carpets fitted took two weeks and that included ordering a 5m length of carpet they didn't keep in stock. All this before Christmas as well! I highly recommend this company.

Just had Karndean wood flooring put down in my living room my Lee who was excellent. Real attention to detail and took all the old carpets away and left the place really tidy. I was impressed and have used Carpet Trader in Bicester before so was a repeat customer, but always happy to sing their praises. I also had my hall and landing carpeted at the same time. We employed Carpet Trader to replace the carpets in our rental house prior to selling. They immediately understood our requirements and were able to provide useful advice. Derek came to measure up and was able to suggest an ideal solution for the bathroom floors. In view of the amount of floor coverings supplied, the fact that the carpets were done in a day and that the team also removed the (horrible!) old carpet and disposed of it the price was very reasonable. We have dealt with Carpet Trader before and would unfailingly recommend them.

Well, we had the most amazing kardean flooring laid by Steve, now the stairs and landing carpet has been added. What an amazing job. We were given loads of help choosing the final part of our entrance and stairs, now I am bowled over by the quality of the work, the standard of the finishing and the pride all the Carpet Trader fitters take in their work. Everyone who walks through our door, stop and go .... WOW! A huge thank you to Carpet Trader. Having used Bicester Carpets to lay flooring in my hallway which was excellent, I got them back To lay flooring in my kitchen diner, Alarm bells did start to ring when the fitters told me that they were not engineers and did not do level! I found this a very strange statement as they use self levelling compound, after the flooring had been laid I put my dining room chairs And table back in the dining area, as soon as I have put the chairs back I noticed that they were rocking quite substantially to the point where I could fit a pound coin or two underneath Some of the chair legs, I contacted Bicester Carpets And after a few phone calls they sent the fitters back to do some small repairs, I showed them the extent of the wobble on some of my chairs, the fitters reply was how do you know it’s not the chairs, and it was probably within tolerance and that they were not engineers and did not do level! I was not happy with this I phone Bicester Carpets again customer service not very good did not reply to my phone calls, eventually I got through to the rectification department and sent them some pictures of the unevenness of my floor, they then agreed to send the fitters back and replace the complete flooring, and in their words to do the job properly that should’ve been done right in the beginning, This is still not 100% I still have some unevenness on my floor but by now I have had enough,They have now lost the rest of my business as I will not use them again. Just giving an update I still haven’t had any contact from Bicester carpets to ask if I am satisfied, which I am not. Just another quick update I still have had no communication from Bicester Carpets all they seem to want to do is take your money and don’t worry about the quality of their workmanship, I would definitely not recommend this company.

We have bought carpets from Carpet Trader over several years and always found them very reliable and good value. They excelled themselves recently when they replaced existing flooring with the Monza Comfort non-slip vinyl in my elderly parents kitchen. They arrived on pre-booked appointment time (required), explained the latex floor smoothing procedure to allow for drying then laid the vinyl on time early the following day and cleaned up well afterwards and the guys couldn't have been more polite and customer friendly.
