I came across Carolina by chance. My son was getting married in Verona and I wanted a dress to suit the occasion in the grand Villa Arvedi. I had tried on many dresses but couldn’t find one that I liked the colour of or a style that suited me. I took my fabric to her and explained, by showing photos of some of the dresses that I had tried and didn’t like, how I wanted my dress and she very quickly understood the type of thing I was looking for. She drew a sketch and we worked from there. I was particularly impressed with her bead work and asked her to embellish the dress as she saw fit.
I had several fittings and I could tell by her adept hands that she would produce something amazing. I was not wrong.
The end result was fit for the red carpet and she also made me a stunning matching purse and stole and a bow tie and pocket handkerchief for my husband.

I discovered Carolina through a maker's market in my city. Having been fascinated by her pieces then and there I visited her atelier in Trieste and purchased a pair of trousers and dress (pictured). As a person who generally likes well-made and chic pieces, but also working as an image consultant thus feeling compelled to lead by example when it comes to waring clothes that are both beautiful and durable (can stand the test of time), this is exactly what I found in Carolina's designs. I truly recommend. Carolina being both the designer and the manufacturer of her own designs is very willing to make any tweaks necessary to really make the garment fit to measure which is such a great bonus!
