Bought a car from these so called sales men car had major engine failure within six months I had only done 1200 miles and cracked cylinder head they sent a so call unbiased mechanic to look at car and said the weren't liable please please please do not touch this company you will regret it they have left me high and dry and couldn't give a shit I cannot i repeat cannot describe this dealership, just take it from me please dont buy a car car from them ,you will seriously regret it ,once you've paid they couldn't give a monkeys about you ,dont let this happen to you ,its a disgrace thier allowed to trade im still not finished as have taken legal advice who will send in a a proper company to look at car and give a true report their company should be closed down couldn't give them less stars if I could

Many thanks for this review, however I would love to take some time and correct a few points. You travelled 2,500+ Miles in the vehicle you purchased from us and nearly 6 months ago, on your first drive home we received a message stating that the car drove absolutely faultless and you had in fact managed to get 140mph out of it... in your very first drive, of which I am surprised putting the vehicle under this amount of strain you didn't have an issue earlier being that you purchased a 90k+ Miles 10 year old Ford Focus ST. This leading us to the suspicion that perhaps the issue that had occured was down to driving style more than the product we supplied to you in perfect working order, as your text confirmed after your drive home. With this suspicion, rather than rolling over as we usually would and pay for any issue our customers have, we decided to have an ACE inspection (Automotive consultant engineers) who are legally qualified mechanics, for inspecting vehicles on a totally unbiased basis, whatever they say is legally binding whether the outcome is in our favour or not.. their findings were nothing short of shocking to say the least.. Nearside Front tyres were found to be on 0.79mm of wear, and the offside front on 1.32mm, both entirely illegal and within 2,500 miles really does build a picture of how the car was being driven. Based on your 40% 1* review history on this platform and our over 160+ positive 5* reviews, with yours being the only 1* review we have ever received, I will gladly leave our prospective customers and people who see this to base their own judgement on the above experience. One thing you are correct with and I will absolutely echo, is that if someone was to buy a vehicle from us in the future, hammer it around for 6 months putting the engine under strain until it breaks, not giving a monkeys (to use your words) about the repercussions that it may cause and then come back to us trying to get us to pay for it.. you will have the same experience.

Great people and service, couldn't ask for better
I sold my car online and it was purchased by CarLux. Liam got in touch as soon as the offer was accepted to arrange a convenient time for collection and kept me updated throughout the whole process. What I appreciated was the human element in our conversations rather than it feeling like a stuffy intimidating business transaction. He was kind and patient with things I didn't understand having never been through this process before, and we had a laugh along the way which made me a bit less sad to say goodbye to my Volvo "Freya".
On the day of collection he showed me how to update the DVLA online rather than by paper process, it took seconds! He clearly does this day in day out and the guidance was much appreciated.
The icing on the cake - I stupidly left a CD in the car CD player! Rather than just bin it and move on after his at least 7 hour round trip, he sent me a photo and asked about it. It was my uncle's band from about 30 years ago so totally irreplaceable. He's posting it back to me tomorrow. It's always nice to deal with nice people and you couldn't ask for better than Liam.

Great service!
