Care.com is great connections and communication from pet owner to pet sitter. It really works for pet parents that don’t want to put their pets in s kennel

We found someone to care for our son, who is college educated, genuinely cares and loves kids. She is flexible with our schedule and helped us with light help around the house as well, making our life so much easier.

This company took my payment for a three month subscription, close the account within three days of opening for absolutely zero reason whatsoever, refused to explain why they closed the account and refused to issue a refund. Buyer beware. Do not be scammed.

Every house cleaner that I talked with was terrific. Unfortunately, due to a medical problem the cleaner we chose could not work for awhile. But she was great and we were looking forward to working with her. The next one is terrific and working out very well. Thank you care.com.

Care.com has been a great tool for my job search. It provides me with jobs within in and around my neighborhood and within my hourly charge.

Wherever my issue is escalated, the team is prompt to communicate while solving the issue and after.

Also, the team is quick to eject unscrupulous people off the app.

I give 4 stars because although I have filtered my specialty, price and distance, I still see jobs in my feed that are outside of my filters. For example I see jobs 3 times farther than my preference and prices way lower than my preferred. These should be looked into, please.

I love Care. com . I’ve had it for 5 years now and have gotten plenty of full time/ part time jobs even one time jobs that have came in handy. There’s many great families to work with on the app and I’ve shared it with my nanny friends as well. The only suggestion I would make for the app is if a job isn’t right for us( care givers) we can ‘x’ them away so when searching for that perfect fit we don’t see others that we would just not choose such as because of distance, pay or hours over and over again.

I really like Care.com. I found a wonderful helper through the service. My only suggestions are make the site easier to navigate, be more transparent and clearer about charges and add ons. The company comes off a bit shady with additional services. I signed up for something I did not intend to because of misleading language on the site. And you need to go back to advertising more. I had to use AI to remember you exist. I was turned down by 7 ambulance companies and ride services before I was reminded you're an option.

As a single mother of two special needs children with no extended family nearby, finding trustworthy, capable childcare is my highest priority. I needed someone who could confidently maneuver and give dedicated attention to both of my kids at once. Through Care.com, I selected both a primary sitter and a backup for an event I had to attend. Unbelievably, the primary sitter canceled just two hours before the start time, leaving me frantic.Thank goodness for Care.com's backup feature and thank goodness for Jessica. She accepted the request immediately, arrived exactly on time, and completely saved the day. Jessica is exceptionally open, warm, and genuinely invested in what the kids enjoy doing. My children felt instantly comfortable with her and had an absolute ball. She provided the peace of mind I desperately needed and was a true answer to prayer. I will absolutely be requesting her again and cannot recommend her highly enough!

I was hesitant to pay the fee, but I am new in town and needed to hire a housekeeper ASAP. I posted a very brief ad, got three responses within hours, and a total of 6 in all. I interviewed two, hired one, and was impressed by all of their references and insurance information.
