Absolutely appalling service..... I have had issues taking payments online through my website due to the increased 3D security I reported the problem in November and the issue has still not been resolved.
I have emailed asking for updates no reply I have complained asking for a response no reply totally ignoring me....... just don't care about the loss of business that this is costing me. Totally unacceptable after being with them for many many years.

Really poor customer service, make promises they can not keep then leave you in a contract that will cost you to get out of. I am reporting them to the financial ombudsman to investigate their sales techniques.

Rip off Merchants
They change terms, thereby extending contract period and I end up paying for card machine for a further year after I close many years after renting machines as effectively been paid for. They have audacity to offer coupons to gain recommendations to new customers and rip off existing ones. Shocking

Have had a long relationship with them on 5 accounts and they are just appalling on their service. They have taken 4 years to update our address to start with , they send messages by text asking you to contact them then you do and they have no knowledge or support, its like dealing with chimps sometimes, in fact chimps are far more intellect. They never email you or help....probably the worst ever company to deal with i have ever known...AVOID AT ALL COSTS

For what I paid for I have not had these facilities available. The organisation is unprofessional send people twice to your company only for them to twice not process your order. Trust me avoid. You can not rely on these people. Payments WILL NOT GO THROUGH. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY!
It is more helpfull if you were called from a Nigerian call centre asking you for your sort code and account number. The call center staff are all based in the UK but are more incompetent than chinese speaking call center agents. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO AND SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ALSO HAVE A CLAUSE THAT IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL THE AGREEMENT WITHIN A PARTICULAR TIME SCALE THEY WILL BIND YOU INTO ANOTHER 12 MONTHS.

Disgusting customer service
I have never experienced customer service like it. We set up our cardsave/worldpay account in October and then didn't hear anything else until March, this despite me leaving messages on the rep's phone.
They only phoned me to ask why we hadn't used the facility! There were no emails, no welcome pack to speak of only direct debit payments I was not aware had started being debited! When I tried contacting them to cancel the account and get a refund they refused and said they sent the details over email! I checked back on the dates they claimed they sent the emails and nothing! Our emails are unfiltered so they did not go into the junk!
Today I got a letter through demanding we pay them another £36.00 otherwise we will be taken to court, I say BRING IT ON!!!
Terrible customer service
When things are going smoothly, they are fine, BUT should any problem occur, it tough, no support, no help or no communication. They just want their money and nothing else. They may be the cheapest provider, but you most definitely get what you pay for. Say well away.
CardSave – Appalling Service, Stressful and traumatic (STAY AWAY)
I truly wish i had read more reviews on cardsave before being completely mis-led and mis-sold.
Sales rep filled me with a complete pack of lies – When i made my first initial enquiry to join cardsave I told the rep that my web site wasn’t quite ready but i would like to have this cardsave facility in place ready for when the web site went live, He explained to me that I if i signed up to a 12 month contract I could get everything ready and in place ready for when I wanted to go live with my online business and that I WOULDN’T BE CHARGED UNTIL I HAD RECEIVED MY FIRST TRANSACTION THROUGH THE SITE – WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH!!
I foolishly signed up to a 12 month agreement thinking that i wouldn’t be charged until it actually went live and started using their service. After one month i received a bill, I rang their customer service department only to be told that this wasn’t the case and that and if i wanted to leave i would be charged.. Complete joke. So for over 12 months now i have had to pay card save for a service that i was mis-sold and haven’t used once!! I called them today to say that i wanted to cancel as i have been with them for over 12 months now only to be told i should of range them on the 1st of December otherwise they will just auto renew my contract tying me back in for a further 12 months and now if i want to leave they expect me to a pay a further £150…
This product was falsely advertised, mis-sold and the customer service I received was extremely appalling. They do not care about their customer only about lining their pockets totally unsympathetic and unhelpful – PLEASE AVOID!! DO NOT USE!!
it was never explained to me that it was a rolling contract and that if i didn’t contact them on a certain date they would just automatically renew it. I would of perhaps been willing to stay with card save if they would of offered a sympathetic ear and a way around this situation but now i am in the process of seeking legal advice and i am also going to contact the Financial Ombudsman Services as i feel they have used underhand tack ticks to tie me into a contract.

This company is an absolute shambles.
We have had problem after problem with them and when we call or email to resolve the issues we are told that they will look into the matter, resolve the issue and get back in touch with us. Each and every time we have called them (we have had many issues with them and still do!), they have not bothered to call or email us back. When we call them again we have to start the whole process again!
At one stage they closed our account without telling us, as they thought we weren't using it!
You can make all the complaints you want, write letters, emails call their managers and you will get the same response at the end of it; none at all!
It really is shocking that such an incompetent set of people can be responsible for the merchant accounts of thousands of businesses.
Stay well away if you wish to actually make use of your merchant account!
An utter shambles of a company
Avoid Cardsave at all costs. Not because they're so bad that you just really don't need the hassle, but because there's no way that an utter shambles of a company like this can possibly be in business much longer.
Been with them for a couple of years and don't have time to list all of the issues that have occurred over that time - most of which I let slide but will all be pursued now - (premium fees, additional charges over contract, terminal breakdowns, incorrect setup, mischarges and extra charges (which incidentally I had to send in copies of the bills for as they "couldn't see them on the bill and said they weren't there"!!!) .
Short story is that I provided written notice to leave within their timeframes (by recorded delivery which they signed for but claim they didn't receive). Took six weeks to finally collect the machine (all the while they continue to charge me after when they should have stopped). They have mis-charged me again (and agreed to it in writing) but have still not refunded me. On one occasion I called them chasing there was only one person answering the phone who was "just taking messages and passing them on" there was no-one who I could speak to. Their head office have never once returned any of my phone calls. I have only ever had one reply to an email and what they said they would do was not done. They have not replied to any of my written complaints either (not even to acknowledge them).
Currently investigating FCA; otherwise will quite happily take them to court now. There's no way they will turn up to defend the amount of things I have, though they also aren't likely going to pay any judgement against them when they aren't paying me money they have already said they owe me, so I'll end up forking out for bailiff fees I guess.
Our area manager has tried many times to help but has also not been able to get his own company to reply or follow through on anything even when he has escalated it. Feel quite sorry for him.
Obviously I only want to deal with this company in writing so there is a paper trail, but they wont communicate or follow through on their word in any way.
Complete let down, all take and no give.
I don't know why, but they opened 2 accounts for me when I have 1 premises just because I wanted 2 terminals. Meaning I'll have to make sure my staff use both terminals to avoid minimum monthly service charges and keep track of 2 separate bills. I have to pay them to merge the 2 accounts thank you. After looking through my agreement it states 2 terminals at £28 (14+14) and scv at £25... but I get charged 25 + 25????
So they tell me it's just the way they write the summary.
1 of my terminal becomes out of use for nearly 2 months, and it's my job to call them up every week when they tell me that they will call me back. So I ask if they would take any responsibility and they tell me that they'll look into compensation, thank you. But end result - "no can do" because they tried to contact me once when I wasn't available (and apparently left a voice message) which probably wasn't on my work phone because that always gets checked. Honestly????
I must've spent up to 5 hours in total of my time trying to get through to them, on an 0845 number. Often if I ask for a reference the answer is -all our calls are logged, at the same time when I ask if they have a record of my previous call- it's sorry we have no records.
That's my case, I guess everyone else has rather much the same opinion.
