By far the worst car dealership/repair…

By far the worst car dealership/repair center you can possibly imagine. Buy your car elsewhere. Repair your car elsewhere!

I bought my brand new A6 etron in February 2026 with Carby Faro.

The car was covered front to back, top to bottom in micro scratches due to repeatedly being washed in their automated car wash.

I then spend a lot of money to get it professionally rectified and ceramic coated.

I immediately ordered a few spare parts both for interiors as well as exterior. I must’ve spend about 15 calls and emails trying to chase the order. It’s now mid May and I still haven’t received a reply from the Audi parts department. Despite me even asking the sale people to assist. No reply and no parts. And this is surprising from a AUDI PARTS department. Hopeless customer service.

Unfortunately I had some rim damage which needed a new tyre. The replacement of this tire took nearly 3 weeks. Again utter hopeless communication and service. Impossible to speak to anybody to get any updates.

I specifically asked for the car NOT to be washed. I asked twice over the phone and several text messages with the very same very specific requests. It was covered in fine sand and dust after three weeks and I did not want the car to be washed there but instead done by professionals to avoid the scratches again and damage the car again.

They washed the car before I picked it up in their car wash. Complete car covered in the circular scratches again. €1800 damage.

I now have to start a claim process with a company that is unable to reach and has the absolute worst customer service you can imagine.

You spend €80knin a car but it’s easier to get an appointment with the pope than it is to get some customer service and recognition from Audi/ Volkswagen Carby Faro.

Avoid avoid avoid

Ps… the €50 left on my car was gone at the end of the repair…..

Helful Parts Manager…

I required a replacement badge for my 2018 Renault Twingo. I visited the Carby Renault dealership on N125 Faro yesterday pm. The Parts Manager, Luis Pereira, checked which part I needed, confirmed two were in stock in Spain and stated the part would be at the dealership the next day (today). Luis telephoned me this pm to confirm the part was with him. I collected it and it fitted perfectly. Luis was very helpful and even spoke perfect English which made up for my very poor Portuguese!!
An extremely helpful and pleasant experience made so by Luis's professional attitude. Ian Fowler

Outstanding service and extremely customer-friendly

I had a very positive experience with Volkswagen Faro - Carby. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely interested in helping. Everything was explained clearly, with patience and a friendly attitude that immediately builds trust.
The team is incredibly customer-oriented, polite, and easy to communicate with. You really feel that they care about both the customer and the vehicle, not just getting the job done as fast as possible. The service process felt smooth, transparent, and well organized.
It’s refreshing to meet a dealership where you feel respected, listened to, and well taken care of. If this is the level of service before the car even goes into the workshop, I feel very confident leaving my vehicle in their hands.
Highly recommended. Professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with.

Appalling slow service, never any service staff

Faro Volkswagen - having owned my car for 5 years, I cannot imagine how long I wait each time I service it - it is incredible how few staff are ever in service, with sales people sits sitting around doing nothing 🤬 June 2025 here I am again, waiting waiting waiting - my wife needs a new car and not a VW - car great, dealer is appalling 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 ….. back again waiting 🤣 once I get I am heading straight to Kia, I will at least have a better car and hopefully better service - let’s be honest, impossible to get worse 😳

Hard to do business with a part exchange.

Hard to believe anyone can part exchange a car with the Carby group. Pricing of our Peugeot 5008 5k to 9k below the other dealer networks we visited. Hence we will not be purchasing from Carby. Nice salesman but led by other departments pulling the strings and the Carby monopoly. Hard job for them to do and embarrassing I think. Salespeople from Smaller dealers seem to have much more say in the process.

Excellent service/Excelente serviço

Excelente serviço. O carro foi para o seu serviço anual e voltou em tempo útil. O preço foi o mesmo de outros centros de serviço, mas também limparam o carro por dentro e por fora e poliram os riscos deixados pelas garras do meu cão no para-choques traseiro. Foi também disponibilizado um carro de aluguer a baixo custo.

Great service. Car went in for it's annual service and came back in a timely manner. Price was the same at other service centers, but they also cleaned the car inside out and polished out the scratches left by my dogs claws on the rear bumper. A loaner car was also provided at low cost.

I use a wheelchair and when the car was…

I use a wheelchair and when the car was serviced, I left my blue disabled badge in the car and when I collected it this was missing. It was not in their rubbish and not in the vacuum, so the only conclusion is it was stolen. They only checked for it and then said there was nothing more they could do. I now have the headache of getting a replacement and not being able to park in disabled spaces which makes life very difficult for me.
