I did the full time course over three months. It was extremely well structured and I always felt fully supported throughout the course. Even having now finished the course I always feel supported by CAPSLOCK and able to get valuable advice as and when I need it. Highly recommend it!

Discovering CAPSLOCK through Tech Vets was a stroke of fortune, precisely what I needed to pivot into the cyber security field. My cohort, sponsored by BAE Systems, offered an unparalleled opportunity, with a full interview with BAE Systems being a course highlight. This not only underscored the practical relevance of the course but also opened doors to invaluable industry connections.

The journey, while incredibly rewarding, was not without its challenges. Balancing late-night study sessions with family commitments tested my resolve, but the unwavering support from my peers made all the difference. Our collective effort fostered an enriching learning environment, culminating in our team's success and the formation of long-lasting friendships. Reflecting on the start of the course to its conclusion, the expansion of my cyber knowledge and resource pool is monumental, a testament to the course's comprehensive and dynamic curriculum.

The training matrix was robust and covered a wide range of Cyber security modules. It encompassed a series of theoretical sessions as well as practical based live projects. The trainers had a wealth of experience in their various fields and were passionate in the delivery of the courses. There was adequate support for students during the course and beyond the course. This ensured networking amongst students and also provided opportunities to reach out to potential employers. I would highly recommend the course.

Staff were awesome. Course is done in such a way you can build your cv around the tasks completed in class, meaning it counts as experience. I was part-time and bagged a job in Vulnerability Management 2 months before the course ended. All thanks to the wonderful CAPSLOCK team. Could not have got to where I am without them. Best investment ever and can’t recommend CAPSLOCK highly enough!

This is the best immersion training available for those looking to learn cyber security and secure their first cyber role. The delivery of the content, the mentorship, the career guidance & support, the quality of instruction, and the culture are all outstanding! Not only that but you get the most certifications of all the bootcamps in the UK too. I cannot recommend this course enough!! It's been a few months since leaving the course and being in my role as a cyber engineer and it's still a great feeling being in touch with cohort members and staff. I recently completed CAPSLOCK's cybersecurity bootcamp, and I'm thoroughly impressed! As a top student in the program, I found their beginner-friendly approach not only enhanced my technical skills but also bolstered my career readiness. This awesome bootcamp and team are an excellent choice for anyone committed to hard work, thinking, and launching a cybersecurity career quickly.

The curriculum allowed me to earn 5 industry-recognized certifications in just 16 weeks, focusing on practical skills like penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.

CAPSLOCK's commitment to building a strong foundation in both transferable and technical skills is truly conducive to cultivating a successful career in cybersecurity.

Hearing from fellow graduates who have successfully navigated the field further motivated me, confirming the value of these certifications.

I believe incorporating cybersecurity training for aerospace assets such as drones and satellites into the program would significantly enhance its relevance and provide even greater benefits to students.

Capslock, instructors are very knowledgeable and patient, the exams are not easy to pass, you have to get 70 % correct, but the mini exams only have 5-6 questions so this means you have to get at least 4/5 to pass that exam, but the course final grade is through the grades achieved in the exams, course work and attendance, so even if you don't pass some units you can still pass the course. there is a lot of self-learning to do as well through assignments in your teams. Capslock does lack a bit on actual practical training, and you do your skills Labs in teams, instructors do come around and help you if you are struggling with the skill labs, although sometimes you might have to wait for about 10 minutes since there are normally only two tutors and they could be helping other teams out. The careers team is good at reviewing CVs although your initial CV is done by you then peer-reviewed and then reviewed by Capslock Careers team and graded, the Careers team also gives you homework, to improve your LinkedIn profile. The Careers team posts jobs but you are not guaranteed an interview with the companies Capslock are linked to, although just after my cohort this has now changed with BAE offering an interview for all current Capslock Students. Capslock does offer the opportunity to take extra exams/ qualifications, which are CISMP, ISO27001,CCSK which you get two attempts to pass, and the Comp Tia Security+ exam they will only pay for the first attempt to pass. Capslock also does have Mental Health Support and you have access to a careers coach as well, which when you have passed the course you are allowed up to three coaching sessions with them, and the careers team still keep in contact with you after passing the course.

I graduated from CAPSLOCK in May 2023, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The curriculum was really comprehensive, covering everything from technical concepts, to security policies and governance, risk and compliance.

The instructors were highly knowledgeable and supportive, always willing to clarify doubts and provide extra assistance when I needed it.

Working in groups I got experience with hands-on labs and real-world simulations that have been very valuable in my career, which is now in cyber.

There was also a huge amount of career support, helping prepare me for job applications and interviews as well as access to some mentors already working in the industry.

I had to put the work in, it isn’t a walk in park but I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to kickstart a career in cyber security.

I spent 6 months on the Capslock programme part time. An experience I would happily complete again. Learning new aspects of security most nights, having new scenarios presented, time to research and feedback our findings to a larger group.

Taught skills that are often missing in grads, public speaking, research skills, analytical thinking under pressure, being part of a an online team.

My company has now employed several colleagues from Capslock based on our success.

Don't think for a moment this is easy, it's not. You will learn how to be resilient and push on, how to take others views into account and produce work that is a consensus of all opinions.

Capslock can tweak the curriculum quickly dependant upon industry needs.

I wish I knew of them before going to University! Capslock, thank you for all you have done for all of us alumni!

Changed my life.

Went from knowing zero to knowing enough to get a job. Incredible dedicated team.

I started CAPSLOCK on the 27th of November through to the 28th of March, the team based learning was great, it really got the discussions flowing between the team and the wider cohort.

The course isn't just about learning Cyber Security though...It's so much more than that, there's weekly mentoring and dedicated career sessions (and a careers team!) that help you get ready to start interviewing for the industry and get your CV up to scratch, before the course, I had a generic white paged CV with all of the information, wasn't pretty but it did the job, once we started working on the CV, I finally had one that I was proud of that stood out from the crowd, and even had comments during a recent interview on the aesthetics of it, it wasn't something they'd seen on a CV before.

I've also made some friends for life throughout the course that I've bonded with and got to know on a more personal level, rather than just people you learn with for 16 weeks and never interact with again.

The style of learning, Team based, really worked for me, it got me thinking, discussing, but also focusing on peoples presentations from other teams as it gives you the chance to start learning parts of tasks that you may not have been focusing on in your own group and the presenting in front of a large group of people really helps build your confidence with speaking in front of an audience.

The application process isn't good. I haven't been on the bootcamp but there's a lot of messing candidates about. Was told I would be moved to the next stage and that I would receive more information the same day. 3 days later, I received an email saying that they were still processing applications and no one got back in touch about the next stage. Thankfully I applied to other bootcamps and enrolled on another bootcamp Friday. Do not waste your time it seems like they're doing castings for their bootcamp.

This training provider has very little in-house education material, and instead promotes the benefits of team-based learning, i.e., going into a breakout room with similarly bewildered peers to work it out by yourself.

The COO is unstable and loudly defensive over the teaching methods, and writes the most horrendous things in the group chat. Their rants posted on LinkedIn make CAPSLOCK embarrassing to be associated with and discredit the organisation.

The material you are tested on is riddled with inaccuracies, and the poor CAPSLOCK lecturers (almost exclusively recent alumni) struggle to justify the flawed answers they themselves acknowledge to be wrong. Some inaccuracies are explained as being based on past-papers, to prepare you for equally inaccurate external certificate questions. Others are a fault at CAPSLOCK's end, with students encouraged to appeal inaccuracies with supporting evidence, but with CAPSLOCK seemingly disinterested in addressing the results.

And why would they be? With the course fees set at £9,500 - and with 57 students joining the most recent cohort - and if the government funding represents full price per student - CAPSLOCK are up £500,000+ for delivering this 16-week full-time course.

Do the results represent good value to the taxpayer? I cannot say, but from my experience as a student, I do think it is worth investigating.

Capslock does exactly what it says on the tin, (and more). The P/T course was intense but enjoyable, (I often found myself to be more energised at 9pm than when I got home from work at 6pm). As with most education, you get out of it what you put in, but all the support and encouragement you need is available from the tutors and support staff, (as well as some great advice on getting a job after the course). Overall I have very fond memories of this experience, - it has helped me to change my life, and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of a career in Cybersecurity.

CAPSLOCK manage to pack a real breadth of Cyber Security knowledge into an intensive course while putting a firm emphasis on teamwork throughout. Support is excellent whether you need careers assistance, technical help or have mental health concerns. I cannot recommend CAPSLOCK enough - thoroughly brilliant people!

My experience at CAPSLOCK has been nothing short of remarkable. I was told to trust the process on the very first day, I’m glad I did because it paid off. CAPSLOCK gives you all you need to begin a career in Cyber Security and it works because I got a job in cybersecurity before finishing at CAPSLOCK. I recently completed a part time cybersecurity bootcamp with capslock.
I recently completed the transition from beimg an adult Nurse into cybersecurity. This was possible because of Capslock, From pre-course to completion of my course and my recent new role, the team/tutors were amazing and inspiring and helped me progress and become a confident and competent cybersecurity professional.

Following the course end my tutors and careers team continue to offer support and advice to myself and others from the course.
They are a passionate and knowledgeable team and I would recommend capslock to anyone who is looking to change career or is wanting a new career path within cybersecurity.

This course has been a life changer. Anyone considering taking the course should throw away any doubts they have about it. The way they go about teaching you is not purely to pass the certifications, you actually learn how to solve real-world problems, which is invaluable for entering the industry - it's all well and good to have certifications and a theoretical understanding of what to do in certain situations, but to have experienced it, and have a practical understanding of what to do is a world apart.
The entire team at CAPSLOCK are amazingly supportive and I couldn't have asked for anything more from them.
