The most superior food we have found. Coats look great, no hunger and really enjoy their dinner.
Great service for delivery so quick and left in reasonable places when not home. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Our 14 year old cat has just been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, as a consequence we’ve had to completely change his diet. We’ve bought specific gastrointestinal wet foods for him but they appear to be very bland and we were struggling to get him to eat, I spoke to the pet shop as I wanted a high quality food with natural ingredients and they recommended mixing some Canagan in with the gastrointestinal food to give it some flavour. Initially I was reluctant as a small can is expensive, however, I’ve realised that I only need to add about a 1/4 of a can and he’s now regained his appetite and is back to looking forward to and pestering for his food.

My dog has been on Canagan since he was a puppy, he has always had such a shiny, glossy coat & the extra joint care is very beneficial.
The service is absolutely second to none, a quick call to their lovely customer service team & my dogs food is delivered to my door the very next day.
Happy dog, happy me.
Thanks Canagan from the pooch & me.

Our lucky dogs have been happy and well fed Canagan customers since they were puppies. They came with other brand food and had terrible upset tummies but once they’d started on their Canagan diets that soon settled. The vets always comment on their healthy weights and glossy coats. Our dogs definitely give it the thumbs up for the taste test too. Whenever I call to place an order or discuss a delivery the staff I speak to are always super friendly and helpful and deliveries always on time. Can’t ask for more than that! Keep it up team Canagan, from some furry fans!

The best pet food around!
My 2 year old retriever, Rufus, loves Canagan Dental. His teeth and coat are amazing and are regularly commented on.
We recently weaned him off of his breeder food after having a poorly tummy for some time, and with the guidance from Canagan, it was seamless. Rufus now has a happy tummy on top of all other benefits of a premium product.
Top customer service and fantastic delivery.
Thank you team Canagan!

Our cats have always had Cannagans biscuits recently the company changed their production. The biscuits smell different and are smaller and darker. Cats refuse to eat them. Now I'm stuck as the cats have eaten these biscuits all their lives and ate them with relish. Even I can smell the difference. Company says the recipie is the same. Real shame.

We have been using Canagan for our 9 year old lab for the past year. But something has changed. We buy the Highland feast but the last bag we bought actually smelt like manure. The bag we have bought this week has no smell but our dog has severe gas. May have to look elsewhere now, as its definitely not agreeable with him

We have been using Canagan for around 3 years, we thought we had found the perfect food, both our Staff and Border T, loved the food.
It was good for our Staff who has Arthritis and a sensitive stomach, and our Border who was really fussy.
Canagan was recommended to us by our Vet and once we changed over everything was great, until this last four months or so.
We noticed a change in the dry food, the size changed and we received a very greasy kibble in one large bag, then a dry kibble and then greasy.
We also noticed a change in both our dogs, gaining weight, joints getting worse and swollen, their coats not looking and feeling good, being sick after eating, wind and lots of stools of different consistency.
Then our Staff who loves her food, who would tell us it's time for dinner, she would sit watching and waiting to now where she wont even come when she hears the scales put on the kitchen work top, we have to come and get her, she sniffs her food and walks off, she would take a mouthful and spit it out.
We got really worried and took her to our vet, he checked her bloods everything because he has known her for over 11 years even he knew something was not right.
All her checks came back perfect although a £200 bill, and after a few days of experimenting to see what was wrong we realised it is the Canagan food.
We phoned and asked had they changed the recipe, they said no, and no one else has contacted them with a problem until you start to read the reviews.
Canagan you have changed something for the worse, we noticed the change in the kibble, and so did our dogs.
I dont mind paying £100 a month for quality and Canagan was, it is not anymore.
Another long term customer lost.

Buying canagan for my new puppy was a very traumatic and expensive experience. It seemed to be a good food and was recommended by the pet shop. From then on his stomach got worse and worse, the pet shop said persevere because it could have been the changeover from previous food he was on when i bought him. I wish id stuck with intuition and changed it immediately. He had terrible, gastroenteritis and blood in his stool. We changed his food and within 10 days things are almost back to normal but that’s after a trip to the vets. Looking at the comments below and my experience this food should be takennoff the shelves and that’s what i intend to tell any pet shop selling it.

No issues over the last 3 years until they have changed the manufacturer without telling customers, our dog has been ill with pancreatitis this past 3 months since this change but luckily we have found this out and we will now shop elsewhere. Very disappointing for £80/bag

My dog has been eating Canagan for six years (since a puppy) and thrives on it. She has a lovely coat and is a good weight. The vet and others have noted her good condition. I have been delighted by Canagan’s excellent customer service. I took up a minor issue with one bag and this family run business bent over backwards to rectify the issue and show how processes had been changed to prevent a reoccurrence.

This food used to be terrific, but something has changed in the last few weeks. My dog has repeatedly vomited and had severe diarrhea from it. We had to give him a probiotic and switch him to another brand as it repeatedly makes him ill. Do not recommend this food!!!

Canagan changed manufacturer to Germany and this where it went wrong. Not the same food anymore. Already have 3 cases around me where tummies went bad since new batch has been bought. After many years of feeding this food won’t be buying again. Check your bags, if its made in Italy- this was good, Germany- wouldn’t feed if you don’t want upset tummy.

Canagan has been a game-changer for my cat - I've noticed a significant improvement in my pet's overall health and energy levels. I'm definitely sticking with this brand!!

Excellent product. Never tried kibble that my dogs like and digest that well.
I do use it with the Canagan cans too.

Long term customer of Canagan and the quality has always been a cut above. I wouldn't use anything else these days as they tick all the boxes for me: High quality ingredients, large variety of products and ultimately, very happy/healthy dogs. Customer service is first class as well

Something has changed, because the dog has stomach problems and does not want to eat this food. Unfortunately I am very sorry that the Canagan brand has changed.
Does anyone know what has changed because it is unbelievable that my dog used to love the food and now does not like it.
I bought a new bag but the same thing.

Edit: Having read all the reviews re how ill some people dogs and cats have become with Canagan changing the manufacturer and indeed the formula/compostition, I am utterly disgusted at their responses on Trustpilot that it is rare cases and animals need a transition etc. If they need a transition the food is changed and obviously now, very poor quality. No advice on the packaging that they have moved to a cheaper manufacturer and there may be issues to warn customers! That should have been an absolute minimum. There will be many people still with poorly dogs and cats at the vets wondering what is wrong with them, spending hundreds of pounds and all Canagan are giving is a weak apology, NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! I know it is food that affects my dog, so emailed and phoned Canagan as soon as he was vomiting and passing mucus and blood and I could see there was a huge change in the feed.
To add as well reports of fake good reviews by Canagan themselves in an attempt to cover up the genuine ones, is a disgrace!
My terrier has suffered with colitis all his life and Canagan was the first food we found 2 years ago that didn't upset him and was fabulous.
Well we bought a bag last week which was totally different, bigger kibble and different smell and texture. Within 48 hours he was in pain, vomiting and passing mucus and blood. Won't eat the food now either and I don't blame him.
Contacted Canagan to be told they have changed manufacturers! Well whatever you have changed, you have now lost a loyal customer, who has sung your praises for over 2 years and now left me having to put a dog with a sensitive tummy through trials on new foods. Shame on you changing something so good, just to save money. I hope you are ashamed of the poor animals that are suffering because of it.

I switched our kibble to Canagan a few days ago, making a slow transition, and as soon as there was 50% of Canagan, my dog got a terrible diarrhea with water and gases. She never had such problems transitioning to any other food and this 11th kibble we tried. So definitely it is Canagan to blame. Then I read lots of reviews describing the same problems. It’s a shame for the brand to have hundreds of negative reviews about their product and just replying to them with the same pointless messages. You should have had recalled all of your products and stop ruining pet’s health!
