Good day all … yes everything was great . We had a terrific time . We bought a unit Canadream last year . Love it.. right now it is in the shop because a tree fell on it. So we came and rented a unit from you . We are renting the same 22 B class unit the week to continue our holiday . Only issue was not your problem but mine. The control panel for heat and hotwater is of course a new
Computer panel .very different and stupidly very difficult to work . Sometimes old school is better . Pls have a better briefing on how the panel operates . I had a better understanding when we returned .. I will ask more about this when I pick the same rental this week . The video needs a more detailed description on the control panel on this Rv for a novice to run .Still had a great trip . So thank you. We picked up our unit in Richmond. Great dealership .. great People.
Thanks Canadream🚐

Good reception and clear instructies for our first RV experience. RV was clean and proper upon receipt. Good service underway and smooth drop off procedure. Kind and hospitable crew. We would absolutely recommend Canadream.

Everything went very well at pickup—professional and straightforward. Upon return, a generator cover was missing, even though we hadn't been involved in an accident. Canadream wants to charge us $189.00 for this; we didn't think that was right.

As a first time RV user, things went very smoothly apart from getting a bit used to parking such a giant vehicle. RV was clean and well equipped. Everything worked as hoped. Would not hesitate to rent from Canadream again.

From start to finish a fantastic experience, it was our first time in an RV, I wasn’t sure what to book and the team really helped me over email. Then on both collection and drops off the team were so helpful and friendly, the van was fantastic, easy to drive and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. Would recommend and we would be using CanaDream again for this type of holiday. Thank you

We rented a truck camper for 4 weeks and it was great fro 2 persons. The overhead bed was very comfortable and also long enough for a person of 1.95m (or 6.4 ft). On the downside were the kitchen knives that did not cut at all and the fact that the inside of the camper was rather dark due to the rather small windows. But apart from that we really enjoyed the vehicle, all worked well (AC, heating, microwave). Pick-up and return were smooth and we really liked the "peace of mind" package which took care of final cleaning and dumping (not the case for previous rentals in the US from a different rental agency).

Great pickup. Easy, plus descriptive run through of the vehicle was helpful. Drop off was even easier!
The RV was ideal for the route and days we planned for. Very thirsty on gas though, which added to the expenses.
The only thing, in my mind that dropped it from a 5 star to 4 star, was that the interior fitting were getting quite worn. To be fair, it was getting up on the k's, so could well have been due to be retired.
Overall, it helped us have a great holiday and enjoy the sights of British Columbia and Alberta!

First the check-in online was very confusing. You need to pick pick-up time and drof off time. Then it seems you have to pay extra, when times slots were already full for drop off. This forces you to book a time where you have to pay extra (starts from $75), or be there very early for the drop off (08:00-09:00 hrs). The website for check in was open earlier than said, and therefor times slots were already gone for drop off. We complained about it and we had the time moved to 10:00 hrs.
We checked the motorhome before leaving, you have to do that, because any damages will be for your account later on. They didn't had everything mentioned in their system, so we added some damages to avoid the discussions. Also maid a picture of the dashboard with all KM etc on it. And the control panel for the usage of the generator, for which you have to pay when used!!!
They gave us 1 set of plates, etc which is not enough for two persons in 3 weeks. And we were with an other couple (with own motorhome), so extra plates etc were needed. We ordered also extra sheets, and we missed one sheet, so we had to wash the sheet our own under way.
The other couple got some problems with their control panel, which affected everything in the motorhome: water pump, electricity and gas. We called right away with several numbers of Canadream, incl the on the road emergency number. All they did was talking and remote trouble shooting and expect you to understand where the fuses are and how to replace some with others in de vehicle. No helping on the site where you are. This game is played 6 days and gave us a lot of stress and frustrations. Even to the part they would send someone over, wh didn't come at all. We had to give up our day in Banff for nothing.
Finally in our last 5 days some help came and he said it was 100% not our fault. At Canadream they have done some changes to the panel for the slide out and have wired the whole thing incorrect, which created a short circuit and electric problems with the control panel.
Also our RV had problems with some fuses. Some fuses were just laying around in the space next to the stairs (forgot to pick it up?) and the other one was under the hoot and was not connected. Therefor our Volt system did not work and our batteries were going out of electricity. During driving and also when connected to the electricity at our site. We could solve this issue ourselfs and the mechanic who checked the RV of the other couple has also checked ours. Just to be sure.
No help from Canadream and to make it worse, Canadream said we were not helpfull and we did not want to cooperate. Ofcourse this is not how we see it.
The motorhomes were by the way fairly used and at the end of their lifecycle. They were in their last period of using, and therefor by contract of Canadream still rentable. We think otherwise.

I rented a campervan from CanaDream and overall had a good experience. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
Booking:
The booking process was straightforward and easy. However, you need to plan your trip carefully because the rental only includes 100 km per rental day. Additional kilometres cost extra. Also, be aware that the linen and kitchen kit are not included in the base rental price and must be purchased separately.
One very important thing to know is that standard pickup is only available after 1:00 PM. You also need to reserve your pickup time several days in advance (I believe around 5 days before your pickup date). If you want an earlier pickup, there is an additional fee of approximately CAD $75–100.
Pickup:
The pickup process was smooth. After completing the paperwork, a staff member gave me an orientation of the campervan. It wasn’t extremely detailed, but it covered the essentials, and they were happy to answer questions.
One thing that left a bad impression was when I couldn’t find the parking brake release button. I asked a staff member for help, and after showing me where it was, they laughed loudly. I don’t know what they meant by it, but it made me feel quite embarrassed.
The Campervan:
The campervan had relatively low mileage and was in good condition. It was clean, although not spotless, and everything worked properly throughout my trip.
Keep in mind that it’s a large, heavy vehicle, so fuel consumption is quite high.
The pillows provided were very flat, and each person only received one pillow, one duvet, one synthetic blanket, two towels and 2-3 small towels
The kitchen kit included everything I needed, but I was disappointed that they only provided a very small bottle of dishwashing liquid and low quality sponge. For a campervan rental, I think they should supply a more reasonable amount.
Return:
Returning the campervan was easy, but the depot seemed very busy. No staff member approached me when I arrived, and I had to walk around to find someone to complete the return process.
Overall:
Despite a few minor issues, I was happy with the rental. The campervan was reliable and performed well throughout the trip. With a few improvements to customer service and some of the included supplies, the experience would be even better. Overall, I would rent from CanaDream again and give them 4 out of 5 stars.

The only reason we would give a 4 star review was due to a small number of teething problems.
We had never hired an RV before and yet no “training” was given or offered as to how to use the vehicle. We found plug points on the last day of our use that we didn’t even know existed.
We could have also done with being shown how to fill the water tank and dispose of waste.
We you tubed in the end - but that shouldn’t be necessary.
Also we were given 2 forks / knives / spoons / mugs and glasses. Yes there were 2 of us but if wanted a glass of water with a beer or wine this just wasn’t possible. Not sure why we could not have been given more utensils.
Finally - we had no idea we would be sleeping on so many slopes. Some help with this would have been useful.
The pick up and drop off were easy and when we had an issue Canadreams were responsive.
Overall a good experience and I would recommend them but they should mandate a 30 minute overview session for new users.

The organisation of pick up and drop off is ‘slick’
The handover well orchestrated and time given to explain all areas of the vehicle.
My only Challenge, in hindsight , was having requested and set up for a Compact Motor home , we received somewhat much larger .( and I appreciate the team perhaps felt that our upgrade would be welcome )
Our trip was organised for sites and pitches on the basis of a max 24’6 RV , at circa 31’ we struggled on occasion.
The 11.8 mpg also gave me a nose bleed
However …. we had a thoroughly enjoyable trip and would highly recommend Canadream to friends and Colleagues .

The only available time to return the car was 8 AM. The other services were good, but this needs improvement. Isn't this practically telling me not to use it for a day?

Unfortunately, our experience was not the best and I wouldn't recommend renting an RV from Canadream. First of all: returning the RV was very easy, the people working at the Calgary branch very friendly and professional and the returning process didn't take longer than maybe 20 minutes (we booked Drop&Go). However, picking-up in Vancouver was a nightmare and the RV itself wasn't good. We waited for more than 4 hours despite booking a certain pick-up time. There were several people coming after us and leaving way before us and we were literally the last ones to be served. Being there with a small child waiting that long was especially nerve-racking. I suspect the fact that I booked the saver offer (and not a specific category) was the reason we got our vehicle only at the end. And what we got was really disappointing too. More than 100.000 km and several years old it had damages on the inside and outside and the engine sounded really weird. Also the sensor of the tanks were defect so you always had to guess if they need to be emptied. We were somehow relieved to return the car after 2.5 weeks and thankful it did not break down during the trip. Also, they deduct 5000 CAD from your bank account (not only blocking it) which should be considered before if you have a limit on your credit card.

Very friendly, fast and professionell response on incidents. Seamless experience from booking to drop off. Rental-equipment (chairs, scissors, knifes & Co.) could be of more quality.

The best trip ever. We were the second users of the RV . It was immaculate. It had everthing you could need and more!!!
The shower and toilet were excellent for use. It was spacious and very comfortable. We only had one issue with a cracked water tank, but the engineer met us in Jasper and repaired it no problem. The whole experience was one that will never be forgotten.
The whole operation was smooth and easy. The staff very very helpful. We can only keep saying everything was way better that we could have believed. The emptying of the waste tanks was so easy and became second nature
THANKYOU for a lifetime experience everyone at CanaDream. ❤️❤️❤️
